-Pearl's POV-

Well, I really don't care about what everyone says.
"Dangerous creature" was how they described it.
I never saw the creature, but today my curiosity overtook my caution.
Jumping over my fence was easy.
I wondered if that was the real challenge though.
I walked into the jungle. It was beautiful- how come I was never allowed to go in there? Well what am I thinking- the dangerous creature of course.
Let's just hope it's nice.
The first thing I saw was a frog.
A blue frog.
"H-Hello." I said.
"Hey, don't come close or you dead, bruh." The frog said.
Well that was nice.
I walked on. One of the thousands of birds in the jungle said; "What are you doing here? Don't you know about the dangerous creature?"
"I do," I explained. "But how bad can it be? Have you ever talked to it?"
The bird seemed offended.
"You try. It's gon' kill you."
One of the other birds joined the coversation.
"Or maybe you have luck, as you are another kitty."
"A kitty, huh?" I wondered. "And where exactly is it?"
"Just walk straight ahead. Careful though."
I thanked them and ran off.
I passed a tree.
I realized there wasn't any presents of critters or birds.
Actually only one animal.
It was a....
Uhm...
I didn't even know myself.
"Oh, hello, you up there! Who are you?"
This caught the animal by surprise, but the apparent female smiled.
"Hello, I'm Amber. What brought you here?"
"I wanted to meet the 'dangerous creature'. Do you know where it is?"
"Oh.... Uhm, well...."
I then realized that I found what I was looking for. "Oh, is it you? You don't seem so dangerous."
Amber smiled. "It's been years since anyone talked to me...."
I climbed up the tree she was sitting on. She looked at me carefully. "And... You are?" She asked.
"I'm Pearl. Are we friends now?"
She froze.
"REALLY?!"
"Uh yeah I mean-" I stopped when she gave me a bear hug. Well, an Amber hug.
"What animal are you?" I asked.
"I'm a leopard!"
Woah. That sure is cool, a ragdoll being friends with a leopard.
A. Freaking. Leopard.
I shouldn't be freaking out.
But I am.
