I could see Thor facing away from me as I made my way down to him. He appeared to be talking to some of the palace staff, getting the final arrangements put into place. The staff turned up to stare at me, causing Thor to turn around. I made it the 3rd to last step and stopped as he walked towards me.

"Amara, you look..." He grabbed my hand and walked me down the remaining stairs and gave me a twirl around. "Breathtakingly gorgeous." He pulled my waist against him. I giggled and placed my hand's on his chest.

"You look rather handsome yourself your highness." I complimented him and Thor's arm's tightened around me, with his face leaning in towards mine.

"Thor!" A booming voice roared across the hallway happily. Thor stepped away from me and turned towards the voice.

"Ahh, my friends! It's so good to see you!" Thor boomed back.

The large man with red hair and a Viking beard collected Thor into a hug. Both men were laughing loudly. Two other men and a woman followed closely behind them. All of them began hugging each other and laughing. Thor suddenly turned to me and a grin flowed across his face.

"Amara, please come meet my friends." He held a hand out to me and I took it shyly. He pulled me over and introduced me. "These are my very best friends. Lady Sif and the Warriors Three." They all bowed to me and I bowed back. "This is Lady Amara, of Midgard. Although she is actually from here." Thor boasted.

"Ooo, so this is thee Amara is it?" The shortest men among them eyed Thor clearly poking fun at him. Thor shot a look at him.

"Volstagg, My lady." The bigger gentleman that looked like a Viking shook my hand, introducing himself.

"Fandral, Lady Amara. It's a pleasure to be in front of such a exquisite woman." He grabbed my hand and kissed it, his eyes looking up at mine as he did. It made my face red. He was quite the charmer. He stood tall with golden hair, slicked to the side, his eyes a clear light blue. I could sense Thor was displeased.

"I am Hogun, it's a pleasure." He was the shortest and he shook my hand as well.

"As his highness said I am Lady Sif. Don't worry about these guys, they're immature children still." She laughed poking fun at the boys. "It shall be good to have another girl around. Thor told us all about you." I turned to see Thor's face turn beet red.

"That's quite enough. We will shall see you around, I'm going to take Lady Amara away now." Thor dragged me by my arm away into a large ballroom. There were many guest's already enjoying themselves, drinking, eating food, dancing, being quite a merry gathering. Thor took us over to the center of the room to dance.

"I must apologize on behalf of my friends, if they made you feel uncomfortable." Thor said taking my waist and starting dancing us around.

"They were fine, Thor. I'm a bit shocked to know you told them about me."

"Why should that shock you?" He grinned.

"I... I don't really know, I guess I didn't really think that you would." I stammered. Thor let out a small chuckle.

"Well, I suppose I've been curious to know what you've told the others about me. I've been wanting to ask why you declined to say we are together back on Midgard before we left to come here." He asked as we were still dancing around.

"Because we aren't together, though. You never actually asked me. You shouldn't just assume those things." I grinned at him.

"Hmm, I see. Well..." Thor stopped dancing. He moved a piece of my hair out of my face. Another voice interrupted us before Thor could continue.

"I see my son has returned and yet did not inform me. Nor has anyone informed me of this little gathering." A much older gentleman walked towards us. He had a large staff in his hand, his head flowing with white hairs, and a large golden eye patch on his right eye.

"Father, I would like you to meet our guest. This is Lady Amara." Thor said with a proud smile.

"I do not care, she does not belong here as she is a mortal, just as I said the last time you brought the other girl." Odin scolded. The small smile on my face faded away into a frown.

"Father, she is not a mortal. She is of Asgard. She came to learn about her home land." Thor frowned as he stood up for me. I was utterly grateful. I wanted to speak, but I knew better.

"She did not grow up here. Therefore does not belong." Odin said. His gaze landed on me, and he eye'd me in curiosity. I shrunk away from them some.

"She belongs here, just as much as the rest of us. Least you can grant her is the ability to stay for a week." Thor raised his voice. And head's in the ball room started turning.

"I shall not argue in front of your guest's. You shall bring her home before 3 day's time." Odin huffed and turned on his heel's walking away from us.

"Thor, I don't want to cause any trouble. We can go." I whispered and looked up into his eyes.

"No, you deserve a chance to know who you are and where you come from." His hand stroked my cheek and I smiled at him. My stomach growled at that very untimely moment. "Come, we shall get you something to eat."

Thor took me to eat from the great feast that was laid out. We put Odin's words out of our mind and enjoyed our night. Late that evening he led me back upstairs. We said our good night's and he kissed my hand before leaving the room.

The next morning I woke up and got dressed into another asgardian gown. I snuck out of my room and headed out towards the Bifrost. I walked along the rainbow bridge slowly. Just taking everything in. I didn't want to wake Thor, because I didn't want to cause him anymore trouble. I also really wanted to see Heimdall again so I could ask him some more questions.

"Good Morning, Amara. I trust you slept well?" Heimdall didn't even have to turn to look to see it was me walking inside. I walked over to the seat's from yesterday and sat down.

"I slept all right." I shrugged.

"What's bothering you, child?" He came and sat next to me.

"Well. A lot actually. I just have so many questions. But I don't want to be a bother with my presence here. Odin stopped Thor and I last night."

"The king only does what he believes is right for his people." Heimdall explained. I nodded at him agreeing. "But you are no bother to me." He gave me a small hug.

"I only have until tomorrow to learn everything I can. I was thinking about it last night and I wish there was a way to regain my memories. I don't know if they'd help me recover anything of importance, but it's still missing time in my life. I'm glad, I had the time I did on Midgard. My Father was one of the most important people in my life. But deep down I've always wanted to know who I truly am." I explained.

"Unfortunately, dear one. The person who wiped your memories is no longer living. Frigga was Thor's mother. She helped us suppress your power when you were little and she's the one who wiped away your memory. She was a very gifted woman who was raised by witches." Heimdall explained softly.

"Oh." I looked down disappointed and Heimdall sighed.

"She only taught one person of her abilities." He said cautiously. I looked up at him surprised. Ready to find out who I needed to see.

"My brother, Loki." Thor stood in the doorway looking less than pleased. When he spoke I turned to look at him. Heimdall didn't budge obviously knowing he was already there. I stood up and walked over to him. "Why didn't you wake me? I would have come with you." He spoke softly and touched my cheek.

"I didn't want to bother you." I said quietly.

"You could never bother me." He smiled and leaned in towards me.

Heimdall cleared his throat. Thor and I quickly stepped away from each other and I was flustered from continuously being interrupted.

"He cares quite deeply for you. I can see it. You care about him to." Heimdall spoke inside my head. I nodded once quickly so Thor wouldn't notice.

"So Loki would know how to retrieve my memory?" I asked looking between the two. I had to break the awkward silence.

"He is the only person who would know if he could or not." Heimdall nodded.

"Well where do we find him?" I looked at Thor.

"Amara." Thor looked into my green eye's. "Loki has done many terrible thing's. Including most recently his attack on New York. He is currently still imprisoned in the Asgardian dungeon's."

"Thor, please. Please take me to him. I need to at least try and see if he can help me." I begged him quietly, putting my hands on his chest. Thor's arm's wrapped around me.

"I cannot risk him hurting you again." He said quietly back.

"He won't. You'll be there with me to protect me." I stood on my tippy toes and lightly kissed his cheek.

"Fine. I shall escort you." Thor huffed. It was fun to see how much I could influence his feelings. It made me smile that I had that effect on him.

"Be safe, my niece." Heimdall said and I nodded at him. A smile appeared on my face. It's only been a day, but knowing him felt like a lifetime.

Thor and I walked back toward's the palace and toward's the dungeon's.

"The guards aren't likely to let us in. We are going to have to sneak in." Thor smiled at me. "When the three of us we were little and causing mischief we would do this routine. It was called Get Help. Loki would be the one to pretend he was hurt. It was quite hilarious." He laughed.

"It sounds like it was quite funny. I can't wait to remember it." I giggled. "So what exactly is our plan?"

"Well we are going to need a distraction. I think I have the perfect idea." Thor smirked.

"Thor this is absolutely ridiculous." Lady Sif stated.

"Please, just distract them with your girlish charm. So Amara and I can get inside." Thor begged.

"I am a warrior. Not some silly school girl." She rolled her eyes.

"That's why I came to you. You're the best person for this job. You are tough and they would never see it coming. It'll only take two minutes." Thor used his big eyes to guilt her into it.

"Fine. I'll do it. But not for you. For her." Sif smiled at me.

"Thank you, Lady Sif." I said.

Sif nodded at me and walked over to talk to the guards. We watched for a moment as she flirted with the two men. She held their attention long enough for us to sneak our way in.

Thor walked me through the prison. We passed many cells that were locked shut with a yellow glowing force field. The prisoners were screaming and yelling as we walked by. Thor held my hand tightly as we made our way to Loki's cell. At the very end of the hall was a rather larger cell that was much more nicely decorated then the others.

"Ah, Lady Amara, brother. How nice of you to come by for a visit." Loki spat at us. I looked at Loki, but I could tell the put together man in the chair, reading a book was just an illusion as my eye's glowed.

"Brother, what did you expect. You put yourself in this situation." Thor growled back at him.

I let go of Thor's hand, but he quickly grabbed it again looking at me confused. I nodded at him, and he let go. I walked right up to the force field and spoke.

"Loki, I've come to ask for your help." I said and Loki turned to look at me for a moment. Then he scoffed. Returning his attention to his book.

"Whatever you're after I can't help you. Or rather I won't help you." Loki scoffed and he rolled his eye's.

"Loki are you really going to make me do this?" I turned and gave an apologetic look to Thor.

He obviously realized I was going to do something stupid a bit late. Before Thor could even say anything I managed to use my power to walk into Loki's cell.

"Your abilities really are quite intriguing little one." He grinned still not looking up at me from his book.

"Amara!" Thor hit the cell with a fist.

"Loki enough games. No more illusions." I stood calmly and waited. The room shifted and it was complete chaos. He sat on the floor completely disheveled. I walked over and sat crossed legged in front of him. "I'm not afraid of you." I spoke softly.

"Really, well thats certainly a surprise. Tell me. Why not?" His face was sad, his hair strewn in a crazy mess, he had bruises, and scars.

"Because. I know it wasn't really you that day in New York. You were being controlled. I could see past the illusion's, and the mind control." I smiled at him. He looked utterly surprised.

"What are you talking about, Amara?" Thor said looking between us. Still on the outside of the prison cell.

"Like I said. Loki was under the same mind control that took over Clint that day. I didn't quite see it at first, but when we spoke in the prison cell I could see it. I saw it even more when you stabbed me and my... Dad.. I-I knew it wasn't you that wanted to hurt me. Same reason I know you won't hurt me now." I stated.

"You are far to forgiving. I am a monster." Loki said as he looked so ashamed of himself. I reached out and touched his hand that was rested upon his knee. He tensed and froze for a moment, but didn't budge.

"Loki, I'm here because I need your help. I want my memories back. I know your mother erased them a long time ago. But we were hoping you could do it. Bring them back to me." I pleaded with him. Loki became less tense, and still didn't move my hand away.

"And what exactly do I get out of this. IF I help you?" He looked at me rather suspiciously.

"Well, this would be if you're even able to do it. As I understand right now without my memories. Is that we were all rather close when we were little. I'd say you'd be getting your best friend back." I smiled slowly at him.

"Fine. I'll do it." Loki stated. I breathed a sigh of relief.

"What? Just like that? Amara, please come here and get out of there. It's a trick." Thor begged. There was an angry snarl in his tone.

Before I could make a decision. Loki quickly touched his hands to my temples. I could feel him inside my head. It was a completely crazy feeling. It was like I could feel him breaking a barrier inside my mind. Then, suddenly everything came back to me. I remembered my parent's face's, I remembered laughing and reading with my Uncle. I remembered running through the palace garden's with Thor and Loki. I remembered Thor giving me a purple flower and telling me that he was going to marry me someday. Loki showing me different kind's of magic, new tricks he had learned from his mother. I remembered Frigga's face. I remembered saying goodbye to my parent's, promising to never forget...

Loki moved his fingers away from my temples. I instantly started to cry.

"Loki, I swear when I get my hand's on you, I will kill you for hurting her!" Thor pounded his first again on the cage. I waved my hand back and forth at him.

"I'm... not crying... because I'm hurt... I remember everything." I sobbed out, trying to contain my rush of emotions that Loki unlocked inside my head. I stood up and allowed myself out of the prison cell. Right into Thor's arms.

"Welcome back, Amara." Loki spoke softly, still sitting on the floor. "The rush of emotion is normal. But, I have to tell you something though. While I was having a peak around inside your head, there's a lot of magic still in there. I believe it has something to do with how Mother suppressed your magical abilities." Every time he spoke of her I could tell that's why he was upset. Because his Mother was gone.

"Are you okay?" Thor said softly. Running his fingers through my hair.

"I've never been better." I squeaked out through another sob. Trying to regain my voice from crying. "So is that why I don't have full control of my powers?"

"It could be yes. I also believe it is still blocking other abilities. You're quite powerful. I could feel it. Just as I can now being near your presence." Loki said as Thor wrapped his hand around mine.

"Come we must leave now. We cannot get caught in here." Thor tried to pull me towards the exit but I pulled my hand away.

"We need to get him out. He's being wrongfully imprisoned." I looked back and saw Loki perk up a bit. I smiled at him and he smiled a bit back.

    "Amara we can't."

"Thor, we have to do something. I know what happened and what he did was wrong. But it wasn't entirely his fault. We have to help him." I stated firmly and I turned my attention to Loki again. "I will get you out. I promise you. I missed you, Loki." I said smiling sweetly at him. He nodded at me.

"Thank you, my darling. I missed you too." I heard inside my head. I nodded at him. Thor looked between us and sighed.

"Fine, we shall come up with a plan to get him out. But right now we must leave." Thor looked into my eyes.

I nodded and we quickly left the dungeon cell's together. Out the door and kept going all the back to my room.
