One day I will smile like I never knew any pain,

I won't be hiding tears but enjoying the rain.

I will bare my heart open, not just my brain;

One day, my efforts will not go in vain.

One day people will stop hurting me;

I will let it go and stop feeling sorry

For the crimes I never committed.

Maybe my life will stop feeling so insipid.

One day I will pride myself like I've been untouched by jealousy;

And hopefully, I will pass on that legacy.

I will finally let go of the sorrow I've been holding;

One day I will finally love him like he's been deserving.

One day I will truly be happy,

I will live life to the fullest;

I will not have any regrets,

One day, I will have the best.
