Part 1

"Henry! Hold on!" It's too late. My little brother was roughly shoved through the portal to an unknown land. Greg, the stranger who rolled into town only weeks before, jumped in after Henry and Tamara, squeezing my arm tightly as he dragged me through the portal.
Within a few seconds, we went from the sunny streets of StoryBrooke to a dark, gloomy beach. Henry and I quickly jumped up, trying to book it into the forest, but Greg grabbed our collars, preventing us from running.
"Slow down there, pal." He said as Henry kept struggling. He yanked us back, still holding onto our shirts. He turned back to Tamara, giving her a knowing smile as a wolf howled in the distance.
"We made it." Tamara said. "Mission accomplished." I tuned out their words as Henry argued back and forth with them. I was to focused on looking for a safe, secluded passage away from the beach. If I could grab Henry and run, maybe we could survive.
"Greg." Tamara said, looking down at their communicator. "I'm not getting a status on this thing." She handed it to him, a fearful look on her face. Greg chuckled, taking it from her.
"Did you check the batteries?" He said, opening the back of the communicator. Sand fell out where the batteries were meant to be, making me snort out of their stupidity.
"What is this? A toy?" Tamara said angrily. "I guess its a good thing you guys don't ask questions." Henry said. The two adults turned red with anger, but I simply laughed, giving Henry an approved thumbs up despite my bound wrists.
"Just walk." Greg shoves Henry and I into the forest as Tamara gathers some wood for a fire.
------------
"We making s'mores?" I inwardly laugh at Henry's joke, but Greg and Tamara didn't find it that appealing, pretty much how I feel about them.
"No. We're building a signal. We need to let the home office know we are here."
"What if that's not enough?" Greg stands up and puts a hand on Tamaras shoulder.
"Greg, what if the empty communicator wasn't an accident-"
"Don't let the kids get in your head." Suddenly, the bushes in front of us russel. Greg protectively steps in front of all three of us, as if he would be able to stop any wild beast. But it's not wild beasts, it's a group of teenage boys. They wear interesting clothes and weapons such as bows, arrows, swords, daggers, and clubs are tightly attached to their person. They all wear hoods that cover most of their faces.
"Who are you?"
"We're the home office." A blonde boy in the front of the pack replies. He has an odd scar that travels across his entire face and a club slung over his shoulder. "Welcome to NeverLand."
NeverLand... There are legends from the enchanted forest about NeverLand, ruled by a boy who kills without mercy and does what he pleases. If this truly was NeverLand, I couldn't let my little brother be anywhere near this boy. They say he lures the young boys he take to him by some kind of unholy music, making them believe he can be good, but darkness and evil is all that lies underneath.
"The home office, is a bunch of teenagers?" Tamara spat.
"They're not teenagers." Henry's voice shakes as I finish his sentence.
"They're the lost boys." All the boys smirk at Henry and I, but I'm more focused on Henry's safety.
"Look at that." He chuckled
"Why do the lost boys want to destroy magic?"
"Who said we want to destroy magic?" The scarred boy smirks at us, giving me the creeps. What is it with these boys and smirking?!
"T-that was our mission." Greg steps closer to them, and gestures at himself and Tamara.
"So you were told, yes. Now the prisoners, hand them over." I protectively stand in front of Henry and Tamara places herself between us and the boys.
"Not until you tell us the plan, for magic, for getting home." The boys all chuckle darkly.
"Your not getting home." Greg clinches his fists and raises his head a bit higher.
"Then your not getting the kids." The blonde ones smirk grows even wider as he mutters, "Of course we are." Out of nowhere, a black shadow with no facial features expect for bright blue eyes, comes out of the sky and rips out Gregs shadow. He collapses with a loud scream, before dying right before my very eyes.
"Run!" Tamara shoves Henry and I into the forest, but as she turns to follow us, one of the boys shoot her with an arrow.
"Tamara!"
"Henry we have to go! Follow me!" Henry and I dart off into the forest, the boys howling behind us. I knew this wasn't going to get us out of harms ways, but maybe I could hold them off so Henry could get away.
Once we got far enough away where the howling was drowning out, I slowly stopped running, crouching over to catch my breath.
"I think we lost them." I said, turning to my brother, but he wasn't there. My eyes widened with horror, my breath hitched in my chest.
"Henry?!" I don't care about getting caught anymore, I have to find my brother. After screaming his name multiple times, I heard a twig snap in front of me.
"Henry?" I whispered. The truth was, I was afraid. I knew a little about this island. It is said to be one of the most dark places in existence. The bushes rustled, the wind picked up, that's when 5 of the boys came into the open clearing and stated to circle me, like I was their prey. The blonde boy with the scar stepped up, smirking at me. My situation wasn't the most pleasant.
"Did you really think you could get away from us?" He snickered, making me cringe. I wasn't about to back down because of some boys with pointy sticks, but the fact that they were extremely intimidating was not helping.
"I was kinda hoping." They all chuckled darkly, sending shivers down my spine.
"Grab her." All of them snickered, one of them lunging at me with a knife. Somehow, I managed to block and disarm him. Two more boys came running at me, swinging spears, to which to I ducked under, and the two idiots hit themselves in the heads, knocking them on the ground. The last boy stood in front of me, his lips curled into a crooked smile that could give kids nightmares.
"Bet you think your pretty cleaver, don't you girlie?" I cringed at the nickname, I was about to use the handle of the knife to knock him out, but suddenly, I was grabbed from behind. I screamed like a crazy women, kicking and trying to bite the boy holding me, but his hand was tightly clamped over my mouth. Then I remembered the scarred boy. He was the one who grabbed me.
"Unless you want little brother to suffer, you better shut up, right now." That immediately made me shut my mouth. That was my one true fear, putting the people I love in danger. I continued to squirm as they tied my hands behind my back and gagged me, but I quit screaming. I'm not putting Henry in more danger then he already is in.
I was thrown over blondies shoulder, as they started to carry me through the forest. Occasionally, I would struggle against the ropes and kick my legs, but the blond guy would just tighten his grip on me, making me squeal in pain and I would stop.
After a while, I was set back down, only to have two of the boys grab my arms and pull my along with them. I was taken to a campsite, and I could see a boy talking to Henry. I kept silent, heeding the blond boys warning.
When I thought, at the very least Henry would the harmed, the boy pulled out a knife, raising it in the air over Henrys head. My eyes widened, my head telling me to stay still before I made things worse, but I wanted nothing more than to run to my brother.
"Come on boys!" He yelled, at least 15 other boys closing in on Henry. The boy with the knife smirked as Henry's fear grew.
"Let's play." That's when Henry fell to the ground and fainted. I started screaming, but it came out muffled. Without looking away from Henry, he proofed himself into some other clothes. A dark green tunic, grey pants, worn lace up boots, and a thick leather belt around his waist. He looked up to me, his emerald green eyes locking with my dark brown ones.
"Bring her here." He snarled, lifting his head as if to judge me. The boys dragged me to him, shoving me onto my knees in the process. He bent down over me, smirking at my helplessness.
"Well done, Felix." He said to the blond boy. Good, now I know his name, makes it easier for me to know who's butt to kick later.
"It's her? The girl you need?" The boy in front of me nodded, but my eyes kept shifting back to Henry.
"Let her go, boys," He raised his voice slightly as the boys cut the ropes around my wrists. I instantly yanked the gag off my mouth and sprinted off the ground. Once I reached Henry, I dropped onto the forest ground, hovering over his body that was shaking from the cold.
"Henry! Henry, wake up!" I shook him repeatedly, but he didn't respond, he was out cold. After checking his pulse, I noticed a bump on the back of his head, so he must have hit himself pretty hard. I was pulled out of my trance by two boots, standing right in front of my face. While staring up at him, I filled my eyes with as much hate and anger as I could muster.
"Who are you?" I spat. He only smirked at how much hatred I spoke with.
"Who do you think, Aspen?" He knew my name. I didn't show any signs of confusion or surprise, but I was confused.
"Well, I would say a demented idiot who's favorite evening activity is kidnapping people, but I have a feeling that's not the answer you want." He raised his eyebrows, chuckling at my words.
"It seems we have a feisty one. Lucky for you, sweetheart, I happen to like feisty." Again with the nicknames. My lips curved into a snarl, to which the boy only smirked at.
"Who. Are. You?" I growled, my fists balling together. He squatted down next to me, forcefully grabbing my forearm and yanking me up with him.
"I'm Peter, Peter Pan." I froze, the name ringing in my ears. This was him, the ruler, the pied piper. The boy who could manipulate any one else, any other person he wanted. He could make them one of his brainless lost boys, a toy for him to play with.
"Where do you want the boy, Pan?" Felix asked, gesturing towards Henry's sleeping form.
"He'll wake up soon enough, just leave him. However," Pan turned back to me, smirking at my slightly worried face. I didn't want to show fear, but I was overwhelmed by it.
"You, my dear Aspen, need to stay out of trouble." His grip on my arm tightened, probably leaving bruises as he dragged me away from Henry. He shoved me into a tent, laughing heartlessly as I fell onto the ground. I expected him to leave me there, but instead, he knelt down, towering over me and stared at me so hard I felt like crying.
"Something you should learn here, Aspen. You better learn to keep your mouth shut, or be prepared to pay the price. Disobedience isn't tolerated here. You live by my rules or not at all. Do you understand me?" Pan kept his voice even, but it was dripping with hate and poison. I slowly nodded, his smirk returning. He forcefully grabbed my back and thighs and tossed me onto the cot in the room. I squealed slightly, the sudden action scaring me. He walked over to small table with a single chair and sat down. It wasn't a desk, but it was very similar. There were papers scattered all over it, maps and hand whittled pencils. I frantically looked to the tent exit, then back at Pan. Right when I was gonna bolt, Pan looked up at me. He waved his hand and some kind of force field appeared over the tent flaps, making it impossible for me to escape.
"Rule one." He brought my attention back to him. "Do not run away from me." That was the last thing he said to me before I fell into a dreamless sleep...
