I awoke to the smell of pancakes and blueberries. Peeta wasn't by my side so I assumed he was downstairs making breakfast. I groggily got up and wrapped a dressing gown around me and headed downstairs. I started to panic when Peeta wasn't there, scared he had run again, but then I noticed a note on the side:
Dear Kat,
Meet me in the meadow, by the lake, at 12:00. Go to the spare room and wear what I have put there.
Love from Peeta,
I smiled and finished of my pancakes, and headed upstairs for a shower.

I walked apprehensively into the room, nervous of what Peeta wanted me to wear. A huge grin appeared on my face as I viewed the new outfit Peeta had brought for me. There was some baby blue, ripped jeans and an adorable black t-shirt with three arrows on it. There were some fancy black boots and a charm necklace with feathers and netting on it. There was also a beautiful ring in the shape of an arrow.

I had finished putting my outfit and smoky makeup on and was ready to go. I was assuming this was an apology for last night, but I really hoped on the back of my mind it was something more than just a date!

I gasped as I stepped out of the forest and into the lush meadow and lake. I ran over to Peeta and jumped into his arms.
'Oh my god Peeta, it's gorgeous!'
