I have just finished getting dressed when Peeta comes into our bedroom, picks me up and spins me around.
'Peeeeettttaaaa' I squeal slapping his arm,' puuut me doownn!' He chuckles, but puts me down and kisses me on the cheek.
'Come on Katniss, how long does it take.' He sighs and shakes his head. I pout and punch him, even though i am no where near as strong as he is, so it hurt me more than him!
'Well I'm sorry that I have to put on makeup to look nice for my fiancé.' He puts his hands up in mock surrender, but then takes my hand and leads me to the front door.
'Well in not complaining, you do look beautiful.' I blush heavily at this, and step outside,' but you don't need makeup when you are already stunning.' Peeta locks the door and faces me.
'That's so cute Peeta!' I whisper, kissing him. He smiles and takes my hand leading me towards town.

When we exit the forest and turn the road into the Main Street. There are people every where, all squishing together with panic on their faces, trying to view something further up. Peeta tightens his grip around my waist, and we push through the crowds to the centre. Right there, I front of everyone is Gale. He is standing there with a gun on a young girls head.
'Gale!' I scream running forwards.
'What are you doing?' I hear Peeta call my name, to stand back, but all I register is this beast in front of me about to murder an innocent little girl.
'You ruined me Katniss. You and your perfect life. You were mine, and now I am getting revenge for what you did. Her death will be on your hands.' He roars. His finger tightens on the trigger. I scream and rush forward, pushing the girl from his grip. I hear the bang of the gun. I feel the pain in my side. I hear the shout of Peeta. Then I see darkness.
