When a witch or wizard first meets their other half, the other half that binds them and makes them completely whole again. It's a combination of sight, touch, and smell, their scent is stronger than anyone else around them, sweeter and more appealing that others as well. It's as if they are calling to you and your body begins to need them, to smell them 24/7, touch them, see them all the time. When you first set eyes on them it's as if the world is brighter, more colorful than it was before you met them. You can see things, feel things, sense things ten times better around your soulmate than you had before meeting them.

Their touch does wonders and that's why it becomes hard to stay away from them when you finally meet them for the first time. The need to complete the bonding ceremony or ritual is so strong and hard to resist the longer you resist it the harder it becomes. When it comes to touch the first time and then every time after that with each touch you feel sparks, tingles or butterflies in your stomach. For imprinters it's similar, the need to be around them, to see them, touch them, smell their scent is the same for other mates out there. The bond is a special thing and rejection is very rare when it comes to soulmates, imprints or mates. For reasons being the bond is too strong and without your other half you could die or loose yourself to your magic or beast within you.

For a shifter you loose yourself to your inner animal and you eventually become more animalistic than you are human. When it comes to witches or wizards you slowly loose your mind and become too dangerous to be around others anymore. When it comes to the death of a soulmate, imprint or mate, it is a similar situation as to being rejected, you loose yourself to just as if being rejected. It's that your love is what your losing and it's overwhelming and painful. The topic of the chapter relating to ranking of soulmates, imprints or mates and what type is more powerful and rare than others. It comes down to three types, the alpha who is the most dominant out of the three, the beta who is submissive but also more dominant and lastly the omega who is completely and utterly submissive to their other half.

The alpha is usually paired with someone whom they are more likely to be dominant over so either a beta or omega, but on rare occasion an alpha can be paired with another alpha. Now it's rare, but possible that one person has more than one soulmate, but again it's rare more than being rejected, but even more rare to have three or four. Now there is also another thing called a second chance soulmate, imprint or mate, it too is rare just as being rejected or having more than one mate. But if your deemed worthy enough after A being rejected or B your other half dies and your close to losing yourself to your beast or magic. Then you can if possibly deemed worthy enough your given what is called a second chance other half, but again it's a rare thing to happen. It's only happened four times in history that has been recorded of course, but none the less it's still possible of course.

Three witches meet Macbeth and Banquo on the heath (marshes) as the men return from battle. They predict that Macbeth will be named Thane of Cawdor and King of Scotland and that Banquo will be the father of kings.

Some scholars believe the werewolf made its debut in The Epic of Gilgamesh, the oldest known Western prose, when Gilgamesh jilted a potential lover because she had turned her previous mate into a wolf. Werewolves made another early appearance in Greek mythology with the Legend of Lycaon. It is said that humans can be turned into werewolves by having been bitten by another werewolf. Getting scratched is a questionable way of becoming a werewolf, but most don't believe in it. While in some knowledge and books it is stated that being a werewolf was a curse and far from being a gift to the person who was either turned or born.
