As 'Rooms on Fire' began to play throughout the venue, Clara excitedly bounced up to the stage, taking one of the microphones in her hand as she began to dance to the tune.

Her eyes scanning the room to find someone to sing it with, she noticed Dylan sit up in his seat expectedly, a willing smile on his face, although Clara just didn't feel like that song would 'fit' with him singing it with her.

As her gaze landed on Harry, her eyes lit up, the woman quickly rushing over to grab his hand and pull him up towards the stage. "H, come on, this one's a classic."

Harry laughed at her actions as he didn't oppose her actions, the man grabbing another microphone from the mic stand along the way, and waiting for the lyrics to fade in.

His eyes fell to Dylan, who was glaring at him with a displeasure that could only mimic hate. Primarily due to the nature of the song, he could not believe that Harry would willingly sing it with his girlfriend, or even the fact that his girlfriend didn't pick, or think about, him first.

"Somewhere out in the back of your mind. Comes your real life and the life that you know." Harry started, moving his eyes away from Dylan as he turned to face Clara, the beaming smile on her face prompting one of his own to creep across his lips. "It seems like it was a creation of some of those same old things. It seemed to be the only thing left out in the light."

Their friends clapped, with the exception of a few cheers, as the song continued, Harry still singing his part as he grinned at their friends. "She had trusted many, but been unfamiliar with almost everyone but you."

His gaze shifted to Clara as the chorus played, Harry catching her attention as he sang into the mic again. For him, this song was entirely about her, even if she didn't know it. "Well, maybe I'm just thinking that the rooms are all on fire, every time that you walk in the room. Well, there is magic all around you, if I do say so myself, I have known this much longer than I've known you."

As the next verse came up, Clara smiled and sang into the mic as it was her turn, the woman making her way to Harry as she started to sing her verse, her eyes entirely stuck on him. "She had trusted many, and then there would be someone who would enter her presence. That she could sense for miles."

As she sang the next line, her eyes unconsciously flickered over to Dylan, who's eyes were burning into hers with an emotion that was entirely unreadable. "She dreamed of her wanton luxury, and she laughed and she cried and she tried to taunt him. And he hated to be separated from that picture, no."

As she ignored the feeling of irritation she received from Dylan at that moment, she turned to face Harry again, and that discomforting feeling immediately subsided as she sang the second chorus and approached him, wrapping her arm around his shoulders as he slightly leaned into her. "Well, maybe I'm just thinking that the rooms are all on fire, every time that you walk in the room. There is magic all around you, if I do say so myself, well I haven't known this much longer than I've known you."

As the song continued, the two now singing the final two chorus' together, both Harry and Clara tried to ignore their many swirling thoughts about each other circling their brains, and tried to focus more on the song, although Harry couldn't stop himself from sneaking a few glances at the woman right next to him, and Clara couldn't tear herself away from him.

It was blindingly obvious, to the rest of their friends that there were incredibly prominent feelings there, and Dylan hated it. He despised the sight of them together, he despised how amazing their voices sounded blended, and he despised how he thought that if he had met Clara first, perhaps she would love him more than she clearly loves Harry. He saw it now. He saw that she loved him more than just a friend would. While he always knew of Harry's feelings for Clara, he still didn't expect this amount of chemistry that poured from the two.

The song concluded, Clara unwrapping her arm from Harry's shoulders as the two met each other's eyes again, finishing the song as they did so. "Maybe I'm just thinking that the rooms are all on fire. Every time that you walk in the room."

The group cheered and clapped for Clara and Harry, who laughed and smiled as their attentions were drawn back to their friends, Harry taking ahold of her hand and catching Clara's attention again as he did so.

Clara grinned at the man as the two took a joking bow for their friends, who chuckled at their actions. Clara glanced at Dylan again, who wore the same disapproving expression, and she begrudgingly unwrapped her hand from Harry's in response.

"Alright, alright, who's next?" Clara plastered on a smile as she ignored Dylan, holding out her microphone as she raised her eyebrows.

"I'll go." Viola grinned, standing up and taking the microphone from Clara's hand.

"I'll join her." Taylor Swift smiled as she took the spare microphone from the third mic stand and stood next to Viola on stage.

"This one belongs to me." Zendaya smirked as she grabbed the microphone from Harry's hand, who chuckled at her actions and nodded, sitting back down where he was before, Clara sitting in the seat next to him and Zayn, Niall seated behind the trio.

"This is gonna go crazy!" Timothée excitedly spoke up, eliciting chuckles from the entire group. "I'm so hyped."

Although Clara knew she shouldn't be dismissing her boyfriend, she also knew that she'd have an argument with him if she did talk to him, and she certainly did not want the night to be ruined. Ignoring him was probably not the most productive strategy to use, however, it was the one che chose to utilise at that moment.

"Niall and I still have to sing something." Clara grinned as she turned to face Niall, who nodded enthusiastically.

"Of course, Cee, I'm ready whenever you are."

Clara, sending Niall a nod and a smile, then turned to face Zayn beside her. "And we have to sing some, too. No one's going home until we sing a few songs, Z."

Zayn released a quiet chuckle as he nodded at the words. "I never said I wasn't up for it, Clara."

"Okay, okay, just putting it out there." Clara raised her eyebrows jokingly, sitting back in her seat as she did so, and eliciting a happy smile from Zayn.

Clara's attention was drawn to Harry when she felt a brief nudge on her waist coming from his direction.

"Do you want to sing another song later?" Harry questioned with raised eyebrows before suggesting the song. "Maybe 'Don't Stop'?"

A grin spread across Clara's lips as she nodded. "Sounds perfect, Harry."

Harry felt his own smile appear on his face at the words as he nodded once, rolling his lips inwards as he then glanced away, and tried not to make his admiration for her obvious.
