Breakfast time at Ever After High. An important time where students fuel up to get ready to face the day.

As usual, Blondie Locks is enjoying a bowl of porridge that is just right. Humphrey Dumpty was eating an omelet....wait. Was that weird?

Wait, it was vegan soy. Not weird.

Well, it was still weird, but better than cannibalism.

From the top part of the Castleteria, Apple White stepped out to make an announcement to the students who were eating. She clear her throat to try and get some attention.

Apple: Excuse me?!

Due to the noise, no one really heard her. They just kept chatting. So, Apple tried again.

She inhaled, and whistled loudly.

Tiny the giant ended up dropping his pancakes on the billy goats, Dexter flung his cereal into his brother's hair, and Cedar fell face first into the lunch trays, knocking them all over.

Apple: Excuse me.

Everyone looked up at the blonde.

Apple: As editor if the Griffin, our beloved school paper, I am pleased to announce, I'm doing a special feature! And the theme is, A Time of Wonder!

Most were amused by the idea, few didn't even look up from their food due to needing the substance to get through the day.

Apple: It will feature stories about Wonderland and all the students from Wonderland who are here now.

Alistar, Maddie, and Bunny all smiled at the idea, then Faybelle Thorn showed up with her pompoms.

Faybelle: I think Apple's idea is awesome!

Apple: Thanks, Faybelle, wait, you-you do?

Faybelle flew up to Apple.

Faybelle: Sure. 'Cuz it'll give you a chance to rehash how these blunderland brats got stuck here in the first place. Thanks to Raven's mom, the Evil Queen!

She showed the entire room her Mirrorpad which had an image of The Evil Queen herself, which made everyone fall into a panic. Daring even got another face full of food thanks to Dexter.

Cedar shivered, though she could not feel coldness.

Cedar: I cannot tell a lie. That lady scares the shavings off of me!

Raven, who was sitting with Cedar, look back at Feybelle in annoyance.

Raven: Hey, that's not fair! It's not my mom's fault that Wonderland is sealed off from Ever After. I mean, okay, maybe she poisoned Wonderland's magic, and sure, because of her Wonderland is even topsy turvier than ever, and yeah, thanks to her the Queen of Hearts is a total wacko screwball...

Everyone gasped. Raven stopped her rant and looked over to Lizzie Hearts.

Raven: Oops.

Lizzie simply sighed as she stared into her locket where she kept a picture of her mother for safe keeping. She had two people in Wonderland she couldn't see now. Her mother, and you.

Faybelle: Hello? Raven just, like, totally insulted your mom?

Raven: Sorry, Lizzie. I was just trying to point out if you're gonna look for someone to blame, blame Headmaster Grimm! He's always like, "you must follow your own stories" and "let's trap the Evil Queen in a mirror, forever". Ha, am I right?

She looked to her friends, spotting them all with looks of knowing. Sparrow even motioned for her to stop. Raven sighed.

Raven: He's standing right behind me, isn't he?

Mr. Grimm: Correct. And you may be seated.

Raven ran off to take her seat as the Headmaster stepped forward to address the entire room. He looked more annoyed than usual.

Mr. Grimm: As for the rest of you, understand this. The Wonderland curse is dangerous, no one must be allowed to have contact with that world for any reason, it has been sealed off for you own good!

Ruby: And what about Y/N? He's trapped there now. Can't you find a way to help him?

Headmaster Grimm took a moment to answer. He had promised her that he would figure out a way to help you, but he has yet to do so. Finally, he cleared his throat.

Mr. Grimm: We are working on it.

He turned to leave, but Apple grabbed his attention before he could.

Apple: Oh oh oh, Headmaster Grimm! Actually, as part of my article for the Griffin, I was hoping to ask you about the curse and what exactly it...

Mr. Grimm: Enough! The worlds must remain separate and that is all you need to know.

The bell began to ring as he left.

Mr. Grimm: Now off to your classes!

Apple sighed, but she wasn't about to let herself get down.

Apple: Hey, hey everybody! I'm looking for volunteers to help with the story! If you're interested, meet me in the study hall after class.

You walked through the halls of the Castle of Hearts. It had been nearly a week since you returned from slaying the Jabberwock and you had found yourself making yourself at home here. The servants were a bit put off by your kindness, but Wonderland was enamored by you and your bravery.

Though, you had not found a way back home and you weren't willing to ask Glynda for any assistance.

But, today was a special day.

Y/N: Happy Birthday, your majesty!

You walked into the throne room where the party was being set up. Not the one outdoors for the public, but the one for the court. And it was here where you found the Queen of Hearts.

Queen Hearts: Y/N, my Knave! I am so glad that you can be here for my celebration!

You bowed as a courtesy, though you didn't need to, and smiled.

Y/N: Of course. It's the least I could do for all that you've done for me. Letting me stay here and telling me where to find the Vorpal Blade.

Queen Hearts: Which you used to slay the Jabberwock! To which, Wonderland will always be thankful.

You nodded. However, the Queen noticed that you were in your armor. The Vorpal Blade at your side.

Queen Hearts: Another day searching?

You looked down at the sword. You had tied to use it like Lizzie did to open a portal, but it didn't work for you like it did her. So, you instead joined Chase, the Red Knight, on his patrols to find a way back.

Y/N: Yes. But, fear not. I will be back in time for the party. Knave's honor. If that's a thing.

The Queen simply smiled, happy to have you around at all. She missed her daughter dearly so you acted as a good fill in.

So, without further delay, you departed to meet with Chase.

A low humming of chatter filled the potions room as Raven took a seat next to her partner, Apple. She set her bag down and sighed.

Raven: Hey, Apple. I'm really sorry I messed up your speech.

Apple just smiled.

Apple: Oh, don't worry about it, I just want to know more about the Wonderland Curse. I mean, why does Headmaster Grimm...

Rumpelstiltskin: Quiet in class!

Everyone looked forward as the teacher popped up out of nowhere holding two potions.

Rumpelstiltskin: Pop quiz on chapter three! If you fail, detention!

Everyone gasped. The teacher just laughed evilly.

Rumpelstiltskin: Now, prepare to mix.

Apple wasn't even bothered. She simply pulled on her safety goggles and gloves with a smirk.

Raven: Uh, I didn't read chapter three!

Apple giggled.

Apple: Oh, don't worry. It's just an extension of everything we covered in chapter two!

Raven: But that was last week, right?

Rumpelstiltskin began to show the class what he wanted by brewing his own potion.

Rumpelstiltskin: Five parts, 3-0-2-S-0-4. Eight part pixie dust...to begin reaction.

As everyone tried to follow, many messed up. Kitty's blew up in sparkles, Briar and Melody's exploded in their faces, and Cupid and Dexter's turned him into a sheep.

Rumpelstiltskin: Heat! Cool! Add seven part wolf bane! Separate! Remix! Reverse procedure! Add isotope of 5-U-7! No, 4-U-7! Ahahahaha!

However, Apple followed along like it was nothing! She smiled the entire time she poured the right amount of the right potions together.

Raven: I don't know how you make it look so easy, Apple. I can hardly keep up with him.

Apple: If you know the formulas and the mohexular valences crossed referenced with the periodic table, well then it's just logic!

She finished her brew and it began to sparkle. However, it did not explode. Rather, it flew into the air and created red and golden butterfly which made everyone gasp in awe. It shined brightly and everyone clapped at her success.

Rumpelstiltskin: Good job, Apple White! I give you A! Ah, B plus.

Raven: Oh, that's what we're trying to do!

The teacher appeared next to her suddenly.

Rumpelstiltskin: Raven Queen. What is result?

Raven hyped herself up before she started to grab whatever she thought she needed.

Raven: Okay, uh...green stuff, yeah, ooh, and orange stuff, and, ooh, some purple stuff, let me see, what have we got- Yes! fuzzy stuff! Haha! And...Oh!

A poof of magic erupted and filled the area with pink smoke, but when it faded away, a second butterfly was next to Apple's. This one was purple and blue, thus meaning that Raven had successfully finished her assignment.

Rumpelstiltskin: Ah, correct. Next victim!

You walked along the path with Chase, who was riding his chess piece knight, while a small group of card solders stayed nearby in case of emergency.

Chase: It's a pretty nice day. Even with the swirling cloud of death.

You were obligated to agree. The weather was nice and the only cloud in the sky was the cursed one. You began to wonder if the Queen had threatened to behead the weather if it was bad during her birthday.

Y/N: Thanks again for letting me come along.

Chase: Don't mention it. I'm just glad to help the Hero of Wonderland.

You frowned at the name. You weren't even from here. Was it right to take such a title? Besides, you were just doing the right thing, regardless of what Glynda had to say.

That woman really thinks she could tell you what to do. She wasn't your real mother and you didn't owe her anything.

Chase: Oh, I nearly forgot what day it was.

You looked at him.

Y/N: The Queen's Birthday?

Chase shook his head.

Chase: No. School day.

You raised a brow.

Y/N: School day? What's that?

Chase: It's the one day a year where the students of Wonderland High go to school.

You nearly tripped over yourself at the news. You then looked at him with a flabbergasted face.

Y/N: The one day?! How do you learn anything?!

Chase: You'd be surpised.

???: Help! Help!

You and Chase stopped. You looked towards the yells and drew your weapon.

Y/N: I'll go check it out. Be right back.

Chase nodded and you rushed off to help whoever needed it. As you did, Chase smiled.

Chase: The Hero of Wonderland indeed.

Apple entered the study hall with her journal, ready to get her meeting started. She set down her notes and such before addressing the room.

Apple: I, Apple White, hereby call this planning meeting to order. All here please state your name...for the record.

Apple stopped when she noticed that the room was empty. Well, not entirely empty. There was only a single girl present.

Darling: Um, Darling Charming?

Apple said nothing. She finally did snap out of her bewilderment and scribbled down Darling's name.

Apple: Okay, only one person but we'll make it work. Heh-he. Thanks for coming, Darling! Is there some special interest you have in Wonderland?

Darling smiled widely.

Darling: Oh, ah, you know...who isn't interested in Wonderland?

She then began to whisper.

Darling: Especially what secrets it might hold.

She stopped herself and tapped her fingers together before she covered herself.

Darling: Not that I like secrets! Or have any! Or, um...

Apple stared at her. She just shrugged and wrote it down.

Apple: Well, I'm happy to have your help. Now, since it's just the two of us...

Apple gasped as the door opened and Lizzie walked in, looking miserable. Though, Apple didn't seem to be able to read the empty room.

Apple: Oh, Lizzie! Glad you could make it!

Lizzie stopped her immediately.

Lizzie: Apple, I'm so sorry, but even talking about Wonderland is difficult for me right now.

Apple: Oh, well, that's okay Lizzie, we don't have to...

Lizzie: See, on top of Y/N being trapped there, today is my mother's birthday.

Darling walked over to the princess to try and help cheer her up.

Darling: Oh, but that's wonderful.

This plan failed.

Lizzie: Hmm...not really. She sent me an invitation.

Lizzie held out the scroll to Apple and Darling who opened it.

Letter: Your presents are requested at the queen's birthday bash. Yes, it has been far too long and I cannot wait to bask in your presents! P.S., don't forget the presents! P.P.S., Y/N says hello!

Apple: Your mom sure likes presents. Ha!

Lizzie sighed.

Lizzie: I would so love to be there to help her spellebrate! But, with the entrance sealed, I can never go home.

Apple felt a sting in her heart. She couldn't even imagine being banished from Ever After.

Apple: I'm sorry, that must be so difficult.

Suddenly, evil laughter filled the room and the letter was snatched by an unseen force. Then, above the three girls, Faybelle suddenly appeared.

Faybelle: An invisibility spell. Booyah! Sorry, but I had to pull the brakes on that sob story. We were only one part away from waterworks and I don't think the foundation is flood proof.

Lizzie snatched her letter back, but Faybelle didn't seem to care.

Faybelle: So....Little Miss I Heart Wonderland wants to go home and see her mommy. Sounds like you need the help of a Dark Fairy.

She sat on the large desk, zapping Apple's things into the trash. Apple quickly hurried to retrieve them.

Faybelle: Yup, you need some pretty powerful magic to get to Wonderland and clearly I'm the most powerful one here....

Magic suddenly began to fill the aera, making Faybelle cough and gag before Raven, Ruby, Maddie, Bunny, Briar, and Alistar suddenly all appeared.

Raven: Finally! I got us to the study hall!

Apple: You guys came!

Raven: Sorry I'm late, Apple.

Everyone then looked at Faybelle, who was underneath Raven and Bunny, who was in her rabbit form, and winced. Raven hopped off of the fairy.

Raven: Oh, and sorry I smashed you Faybelle. Ha ha. I'm still getting the hang of this 'magic spell' busFairy.

Faybelle began to push herself up, but Bunny transformed and slammed her down again.

Bunny: Don't worry, you'll get used to it.

Faybelle: Get. Off. Me.

Bunny hopped off of the fairy as well.

Bunny: Oh, sorry.

Alistar: Has the meeting started yet?

Maddie giggled.

Maddie: Of course it hasn't. You can't start a meeting until you've had tea. Huh. Oh! But you can't have tea without scones. And you certainly can't eat a scone without jam. Oh! And I would never eat jam without butter. And you can't spread your butter without a...

As Maddie began to pull out the things she had been listing, the narrator realized that she had forgotten something.

Ahem.

Maddie?

Maddie: Oo, HI! Howzit goin'?

Someone is gonna try and overthrow Lizzie's mother and steal her throne, today! They're working with Oswalt who is trying to secure more power for his master plan! I forgot to tell the readers this. If you don't stop this horrible plot.....

Maddie gasped.

Maddie: It could be...off with her head!

Let's take this time to explain the situation.

Ahem.

Oswalt is your evil twin brother who wants revenge for those who caused the Fall of Oz which lead to the near complete genocide of the Ozzian people.

He had made a partnership with the Evil Queen in order to use her power for his plan, striking up a deal to somehow get Raven to fulfill her destiny to become evil.

He had taken back control of his body after a brief fight with him during Thronecoming where he used Briar to throw away the Storybook of Legends into the Well of Wonder where it landed in Wonderland.

You know the rest, hopefully.

Lizzie: If my mother is in danger, well, we....

Alistar: Don't worry, Lizzie. We'll figure out a way to help her.

Ruby: Besides, my brother is there as well. He will protect her if it comes down to it. But, that doesn't change the fact that he's still stuck there and we need to help him get back.

Bunny: But how? If we can't even get back to Wonderland!

Raven: There's gotta be some way. A weak spot, or-or a secret we don't know about.

Darling stepped forward with a plan of her own as well.

Darling: Maybe we should look at what's been written about Wonderland before? I mean, we're surrounded by old research, aren't we?

Raven grabbed a book that was nearby and held it up.

Raven: Everybody, grab a book. Look for whatever you can find out about Wonderland, or how to get back....Anything!

Everyone scrambled to find anything they could, only Faybelle stayed where she stood. She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.

Faybelle: Hughhh, typical.

Everyone began their search high and low. Books as small as a fingertip to as big as a person. So many books, so little time.

Raven: Well, here's an interesting fact. Maddie, is it true that school in Wonderland is held only one day a year?

Maddie nodded.

Maddie: Yeah! But we have to cram a lot-lo-lo-lo-lo-lotta study into that one day!

Alistar: It was a great place to live.

Bunny: And your mom really is a good queen, Lizzie, I think the curse just kinda stressed her out.

Lizzie: Thanks, Bunny. It must be so hard for her, all alone, with a whole Queendom to take care of.

Ruby joined Bunny in comforting Lizzie.

Ruby: Well, she has Y/N with her, so at least she has someone there.

Raven: I'm sorry, Lizzie. Despite what I said in the Castleteria, this really is my mom's fault. I almost wish she were around, I could reason with her. She'd be powerful enough to open up the worlds again.

But, unfortunately for everyone, said mother was watching them from her prison. She laughed as she began to cook up her part of your plan.

Evil Queen: Ah, my darling daughter, and all her little friends. Perhaps there's a way to use this crisis, to lead her down my path. You want to go to Wonderland, my dear? Here's a helpful "nudge" from your mommy.

She casted a spell that pushed a book to the ground, getting Raven's attention. Raven, though confused, walked over and picked it up, looking inside. One particular picture stood out.

Raven: My mother...

Ruby: But, this book is about Wonderland. Why would it have a picture of the Evil Queen?

Apple: Good Question. Here, set it down.

Raven set the book on a nearby desk and Apple pulled out her MirrorPhone, opening an app.

Apple: I'll try my new Hexamination app. Scan photo.

Apple tapped her device and it began to scan the picture.

Apple: She's got a book in her hand. I wonder if we can see what's in it? Move up and to the right...

The picture moved and Raven noticed something.

Raven: Look! In the mirror.

Apple: Zoom in on mirror. Reverse image. Enhance.

The picture shifted and changed until they could see what was in the book itself. Everyone gasped.

Raven: The Wonderland curse!

Maddie: Ohhggg! If we know the curse, you can reverse it!

Apple: The curse will be broken, and professor Grimm will remove the seal between our world and Wonderland.

Ruby: I can see my brother again!

Raven quickly shoved the Mirror back to Apple and took a step back.

Raven: I don't know, guys. I'm really still just getting the hang of my magical powers!

Apple: But, you transported to this meeting.

Raven: Yeah, but...

10 minutes earlier....

Raven: To the study hall!

Everyone vanished, only to reappear on a wall where Humphrey was eating his lunch. He took a great fall.

Raven: To the study hall!

They reappeared in the middle of two student's card game.

Student: So, "would you rather live in a posh castle or a delicious gingerbread house?"

Maddie: Ooo, that's easy! 'Gingerbread house', any day of the week!

Raven: To the study hall!

The group vanished, making one of the girls pout.

Girl: But I wanted the posh castle!

The group reappeared where Daring was admiring his reflection, causing Dexter to throw more food at his brother.

Daring: Oh, come on!

Now....

Raven: See, magic's not that easy!

Just then, Kitty appeared next to Raven with a smirk.

Kitty: Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late.

She walked over to join the group, leaving Raven a bit embarrassed.

Raven: Except for some people.

Ruby: Meh.

Raven: If I try reversing a spell like this, who knows what could happen!

Faybelle suddenly pushed Raven out of the way.

Faybelle: Step aside, Wanna-beevil. I got this from here. You've just gotta do it backwards.

Faybelle put her arms out and began to cheer, which for her, boosted her magical power.

Faybelle: Ready? Okay! 'Curse this cast I Wonderland on...Woooh!

The magic worked, but turned her into a sheep midspell.

Faybelle: Baaa. W-w-w-what!?

She pointed to Raven in anger.

Faybelle: This is all your fault! I am so outta here.

Faybelle floated away as everyone watched.

Briar: That's actually the second time I've seen that happen today.

Kitty: Never gets old, does it?

Ruby: Not even a little.

Kitty and Ruby giggled together.

Darling: Raven! The Evil Queen's curse must have it's own protective magic. Only one of the Queen's family had the power to reverse it.

Apple: But Raven, your destined to be the Evil Queen, it'll work for you.

Apple walked over to Raven and handed her the MirrorPhone. Raven crossed her arms.

Raven: Apple...

Briar quickly stepped in to keep the peace.

Briar: Well, you're sure creative enough to figure it out.

Raven: That's the thing...magic spells are as much of a science as an art.

Lizzie, however, did not care if it was science or art. This was her chance to make it back to Wonderland and see her mother and get you back.

Lizzie: It will work for you, Raven. I know it will.

Everyone began to agree and expressed their support while Raven remained uncertain. She then looked to Ruby.

Ruby: Please. Try, for Y/N.

Raven sighed. You were her friend too.

Raven: Okay. Here goes.

She cleared her throat as everyone gathered around her. She then began to read the spell backwards.

Raven: 'Curse this cast I wonderland on. Worse to bad, and bad to good. From cruel most fate a be shall yours, so rule my defy dared have you!'

Her eyes began to glow as magic swirled around the group. Pages and books began to fly around the room as it grew stronger and stronger. Panic quickly settled in.

Ruby: What is this?

Raven: Wait...NO...That's not right! You don't reverse this curse just by saying it backwards! Oh...this is something different!

Suddenly, a bright flash of purple appeared and smoke filled the room. The magic stopped and the dust began to settle.

Alistar: Bunny? Bunny! Are you alright?

Bunny: Yes, but...what about everybody else?!

Ruby looked around the room confused. It was only her, Bunny, and Alistar left.

Ruby: Where did they go?

For that, we go to this video!

Love it when I can make my job easier.

All: WONDERLAND!

In the distance, a bandersnatch roared.

Lizzie: Oh! After all this time, I'm finally back home.

Briar: Who knew there was a dress code?

Kitty: Yeah! These new dresses are Wonderlandiful!

Apple tried to step, but she stumbled by the new weight, bumping into Briar. They both giggled.

Apple: This bow is gonna take some getting used to, but I love it!

Raven, however, was still uncertained of what just happened.

Raven: Yeah, I wish I could, but I can't take credit for the dresses, in fact I'm now even sure how we...

Lizzie: Oh, Raven, you broke the curse! And brought us to Wonderland!

She hugged Raven, which surpised the taller girl, completely ignoring Raven's questions.

Raven: No! Lizzie, No. Listen....

Lizzie: Well, now you've totally made up for what your mother did!

Raven: Eh-uh, yeah, except that...the thing is....

Kitty: Hey guys, now that we're back in Wonderland, we could find the Storybook of Legends!

Briar suddenly looked nervous. She ribbed the back of her neck.

Briar: Yeah, about that...um, heh...I've been meaning to tell you guys about this for a while...

Lizzie: Can it wait, Briar? My mother's part is at tea time! Hurry, everyone! Maybe Y/N is at the party!

Everyone except for Raven smiled. They hurried to catch up to Lizzie while Raven stayed behind.

Raven: But, some-thing's not right! But- Uagghhh!

Raven shook her head and ran to catch up to Lizzie and the girls. However, when she did, she failed to notice another member slide down a hidden slide.

Darling landed on her feet and watched as the girls walked off. She smiled and ran off on her own.

Briar: I can't believe we're really in Wonderland!

Apple: I know, I've dreamed of coming here.

Maddie: Oh, I'm very excited to show you around.

Lizzie: It feels so good to be home!

The Wonderlandians were beaming with joy while Apple and Briar were in awe at the sights. Even Raven started to relax a bit.

Raven: Wow! What beautiful silver archways.

Lizzie: Yes. It appears we've come to, "A Fork in the Road".

Sure enough, the archways were just a massive fork that was stabbed into the ground. But, there was also another fork in the road.

Raven: Hmmm, which way is the Queen of Hearts Castle?

Maddie: Well, you do not want to go down "Banderstatch Blvd", and "Dirty Dish Drive" is way too icky.

Raven: Gross!

Maddie: Ooooh! "Watch Winder Way"!

The girls looked down a path where large watches were embedded into the ground. Lizzie smiled.

Lizzie: Why Maddie, I do think your right. This way, everyone!

Lizzie lead the way as they took in the sights, sounds, and smells.

Briar: Well I think we can all agree, this place sure lives up to it's name.

Kitty: Absolutely. Be careful, though. Wonderland can be dangerous too....

Suddenly, large viscous plants began to come down and snap at the girls, sending them running and screaming.

Kitty: Oh! See what I mean!

Once they were safe, they reached an overpath that went by a water fall, that went up! The fish swam upwards while one rowed a boat.

Apple: I've heard of a water fall, but it's flowing up into the clouds!

Fish: A good day to you, ladies.

Apple: Oh! Um, good day to you too!

Raven: Whoa. So would that be "swimming upstream"?

Everyone groaned.

Raven: Someone had to say it.

Lizzie: Hurry, come now, we must press on. There will be plenty of time to smell the roses, after we save my mother.

Briar: Huh, I would have thought in Wonderland, the roses smell you!

The girls laughed but Kitty came to a stop. She looked at some of the card walls that were built along the path and eyed the suspiciously. She then got closer.

Kitty: Hmmm...

Suddenly, the club symbol opened it's eye, it now being a fish. The other flying fishes swam around Kitty, making her laugh. They then flew around Apple before diving into the nearby lake, being eaten by a hippo. It's skin began to change to reflect the card symbols.

Apple: Aww.

It then roared.

Briar: Err...c'mon Apple...I think she wants a bite of your bow.

Briar pulled her away quickly.

Raven: Er...well, that's something you don't see everyday.

Lizzie started to run ahead with a massive smile.

Lizzie: Raven! Apple! Come on! Now that the curse is lifted, and the border is open...

Raven tried to stop her.

Raven: I-I don't think I actually o-opened the border...an-and as for the curse....

They reached Lizzie only to find the large dark green swirling cloud overhead. The curse that was still poisoning Wonderland.

Lizzie: O-oh...no...

Apple: Those clouds in the sky...what are they?

Lizzie: It is the curse. I thought, it was lifted!

Maddie: But what does it mean? W-w-what's happening?

Raven: I'm sorry, but I just don't know.

Apple: Well, we need to find out.

Lizzie: And I'll help you. Right after we save my mother from this scheming villain! Whomever they are. Then it'll be "Off With There Head", instead of hers!

With new found determination, Lizzie was ready to take on whoever was trying to dethrone her mother. However, before anything could happen, the girls heard a distant horse neighing.

They looked over to see none other than the White Knight. The same one that had helped you and Ginger warn the others.

Kitty: Look! The White Knight!

Yes, thank you, Kitty.

Kitty: Anytime.

The White Knight reached the girls, but they did not greet them nor did they offer them tea.

White Knight: RUN! QUICKLY! They're coming!

Raven: Who's coming?!

The White Knight did not answer. Instead, he lead the girls down the hill.

White Knight: Follow me!

The girls, having no other option, gave chase. The White Knight was on their own Knight piece, but the girls were able to keep up with them fairly easily.

They reached a bridge and began to cross, but they were stopped by the Red Knight.

Kitty: The Red Knight!

I got it, Kitty.

Red Knight: Stop right there!

The girls gasped.

Red Knight: Men, deploy!

The card soldiers appeared and began to spread out, blocking any chance of escape. They pulled out their weapons and aimed them at the group.

Lizzie turned to the White Knight.

Lizzie: Why didn't you do anything?!

White Knight: Well I couldn't do anything- it was his turn.

Raven stepped forward to address the Red Knight.

Raven: Well what do you want with us?

Red Knight: I am the attendance officer for Wonderland High School. Unless you have a hall pass signed by the Vice Principal, I am bound to deliver you back to class.

Kitty turned to Lizzie.

Kitty: Don't worry, Lizzie...I'll go warn your mom...

Kitty tried to vanish, but she failed. She kept trying, but it wasn't working.

Kitty: Something's wrong with my magic! I-I can't teleport out of here!

Maddie: Maybe it's...part of the curse?

Lizzie: It doesn't matter. We'll all be at the palace soon enough. Once we get to the Vice Principal, I'll just explain our situation.

She cleared her throat and approached the Red Knight.

Lizzie: How long 'till we get to the school anyway?

Red Knight: It's not far to there, because, you're already here.

Suddenly, Wonderland High became visible and the girls realized that they were in the courtyard. The school was just as bizarre as the rest of Wonderland. Tilted buildings, crooked windows, broken clocks.

Maddie: Of all the days, we just had to come here on School Day.

Lizzie: School or no school, you realize my mother is the Queen? I don't have to stay here. Come along my friends.

Lizzie tried to leave, but her way out was blocked by card solders.

Lizzie: Eh-but...but...

Red Knight: Sorry, ma'am, but your on school grounds now. You follow school rules. And none of you is going anywhere until you graduate!

The gate slammed shut behind the girls. They were definitely stuck now.

Lizzie: You don't understand! I can't go to school. Take us to the palace immediately!

Red Knight: Sorry, Your Majesty, but those are the rules. once you've stepped foot onto campus, no one is free to go until you pass your classes. No one.

Lizzie crossed her arms and began to pout. The Red Knight did eventually sigh.

Red Knight: Look, I'm afraid we've gotten off to a bad start.

He reached up and took off his helmet, reveling his face.

Chase: Chase is the name. Chase Redford.

The girls were all struck by his gorgeous features and none could speak. He was just so handsome.

Chase: And I understand you distress. Besides, it's just one day of school; How hard can it be?

The girls were all able to snap to their senses.

Raven: Lizzie, you said your moms party is at tea-time, what time is that?

Lizzie: Weh-eh....

Maddie interjected.

Maddie: Ooh-hoo! That's easy. Tea-time is at the time we have out tea! It's right there in the name.

Kitty giggled.

Raven: No, I meant...

Lizzie: Four o'clock.

Chase: Not a problem...school let's out at three, see? Now...you really don't want to be late. The Vice Principal doesn't like it when students are late.

Briar: Err, what about the Principal?

Chase: The Vice Principal is the Principal. After all, it's not really fair to promote a Vice Principal out of their Vice Principal job just to make them Principal.

Chase chuckled.

Chase: It's principally a matter of principal.

Maddie: Hummp, makes sense to me.

Chase began to lead them into the school, but they were stopped when someone else showed up. The girls watched as you vaulted yourself over the railing with what appeared appeared be a white rabbit under your arm.

Y/N: Sorry I took so long, Chase. This fella got stuck in a mud hole so I helped him get cleaned up.

You set the White Rabbit down and pulled your helmet off. You smiled, then you noticed the girls.

Your smile faded and you dropped your helmet. You couldn't believe what you were seeing. Their clothes were different, but they were the same people you knew.

Your eyes landed on one particular person, who was just as shocked to see you.

Lizzie: Y/N?

Y/N: Lizzie?

You both stood there for a moment in silence. Then, you both ran towards each other with massive smiles. She jumped up and you caught her, pulled her into a tight embrace and spinning her arm. Everyone watched, amazed to see you here.

You stopped spinning and set Lizzie down, just looking at her with the biggest smile you've had in months.

Lizzie herself felt like she was going to cry.

Lizzie: It's really you!

Y/N: Y-Yeah. Oh my godmother, I've missed you. I've missed you so much.

Lizzie: Me too.

You both stared at each other. Finally, Briar cleared her throat, bringing you both back to reality. You both looked to the others who all had knowing smirks.

You and Lizzie were soon blushing, taking a step away from each other and looking away.

Y/N: I-I mean, hey, buddy.

Lizzie: How's it going, uh, dude?

You both laughed nervously. However, you weren't fooling anyone.

But it didn't matter. After so much time, you were finally reunited with your friends.

Things were starting to feel good again.
