When we got inside our room, I was in heaven, the room was just perfect for us. I walked over to the patio door and walked out, I was in heaven thinking about our balcony was private, we would be able to watch the sunrise on our way down to Aruba and be able to watch the sunset on our way back to Miami. Even maybe do a little love making without being watched by our neighbors.

I walked back inside and started looking around, I checked out the mini bar and saw how well stocked it was, we also had a couch, a nice size flat screen t.v. that was hooked to the wall. I then smiled when I saw how they had a towel on the bed that was cutely made into a swan. "Isn't that cute." I said to Austin, pointing to the swan.

"Yea, real cute..." His tone sounded like he was mocking me, how did he go from being so nice and romantic, to a jerk out of the blue?

"Oh come on, you have to admit that was pretty cool of them to do that." I smiled as I walked up to him wrapping my arms around him giving him a kiss. He then stsrted moving us, backing me up against the wall passionately kissing me.

"Austin make love to me." I moaned into his mouth, his phone then started to ring "Please don't answer it." I said putting my hand on his phone when he was about to answer it.

"Vanessa, I have to answer this call." He said, when he saw who was calling.

"Fine." I said feeling hurt, his one hand was pressed against the wall, I moved his hand away from the wall and started walking towards the door. "I'm going to go see if Lexi wants to go walk around and check things out then, since you're too busy for me."

Tears starting to form as I walked out into the hallway, I slowly walked over to Drake and Lexi's room and knocked softly on their door.

"Can I come in?" I asked Drake when he opened the door.

"Sure, come on in." He said as he opened the door wider, stepping back to allow me to come in. Lexi was laying on the bed when I walked in, I walked over to her and smiled. "Hey Lexi, do you feel like taking a walk and checking things out around here?"

"Go ahead, I think I'm going to just sit back and relax, maybe take a little nap." He said when Lexi looked at him.

"Everything OK?" She asked, as we headed to the lower level, where we came in.

"I'll be fine... it's just Austin again." I signed. "I just keep getting a bad vibe from him, that's all."

She looked at me and gave me a little shove. "I'm sure he's just nervous, like I said before. You know he loves you."

"He's got a funny way of showing it." I retorted.

We walked around for a few hours, we were both amazed at the variety of options that a person could do on the cruise ship. "We're going to have to grab the guys later and get a game of mini golf going." I said as we watched people playing. "It's been years since I last played."

"Sounds good to me, girls against the guys?" She asked giggling. "First, let's go have a drink." She said as she pulled on my arm. We then headed for the pool area and sat down at the bar.

We sat there for a few minutes waiting for the bartender to finish with the other guests. Lexi and I had turned around to look at the pool "I wouldn't mind taking a dip in the pool later also." I said admiring the clear sky, and the sun rays coming off the pool water.

"What can I get for you two ladies?" I hear someone say behind me.

I turned around and couldn't help but notice that he had the most beautiful green eyes that I had ever seen. His dark hair and thick dark eyebrows really brought out the color in his eyes. "I'll have a long island and a shot of tequilla." I said stuttering, I couldn't believe I was checking out the bartender.

"I'll have the same" says Lexi.

I looked at Lexi and leaned over "Did you see how green his eyes were?"

"He's a hottie, that's for sure." She said as she watched him make our drinks.

He then handed us our drinks with a smile. I then felt myself turn a different shade of red when he winked at me.

"So what's your name?" I ask him.

"Chris, and yours?"

"Vanessa, and this is Lexi."

"Nice to meet you two, are you two here on this cruise by yourselves?" He asked with a smile.

"Well I'm here with my husband, and she's here with her never around boyfriend." Lexi says.

"Lexi!" I said embarrassed as I back handed her arm.

"Well he never is.." She said as she picked up her drink placing the straw in her mouth, smirking.

He chuckled "Enjoy our your vacation you two." He said as he walked over to help the next guest.

Chris POV:

I could hear the two girls bickering back and forth, and couldn't help but chuckle about it. I know there's always two sides to every story, and that each couple is different. All I know is that if I had a woman in my life as beautiful as she is, I wouldn't be letting her out of my sight, and would be proud to have her in my arms everywhere I went.

As I continued helping other guests, I couldn't myself sneaking a peek every now and then at the dark haired beauty, she had a beautiful smile that made me smile. Too bad she's taken I kept thinking to myself. I then notice that they were empty and walked back over to them.

"Can I get you two another?"

"Sure, another round please." Vanessa says with a smile.

While making their drinks I see two men walk up to them, one of the men wasn't looking to happy while the other one was on his phone. I then figured that they were with the girls. I handed the girls their drinks and looked at the two men "Can I get you two anything?"

"I'll have a glass of beer." The guy said as he stood behind Lexi.

"Water please." The other one on the phone blurted out.

Lexi must have recognized the voices and turned around "You found us, what are you two up to?" She asked him.

"Better question is, what are the two of you up to, I got a little worried when I hadn't heard from you and grabbed Austin to help come find you two."

"Oh lighten up, we're just having a couple drinks." She told him. I then handed him his beer and the other his water. The more I looked at the man he looked very familiar, like I had just dealt with him recently.

"We were just having a couple drinks. We were just going to finish these and see if you two wanted to play a couple games of mini golf." Lexi said to him acting bubbly.

Vanessa POV:

I then take a look at Austin, his phone was glued to his ear "Are you going to be on your phone the whole time we're here?" I ask upset.

"Sorry that was work, I had to take care of some things."He says as he put his phone in his pocket.

"They do know were on vacation right?"

"They know...." If she only knew that's why we were on this trip she would flip He thinks to himself. "I'm hungry, lets go grab a bite to eat." He says.

I hurried and finished my drink, leaving a twenty dollar bill under my glass "Thanks for the wonderful drinks." I said to the bartender, I then could feel the effects of the alcohol creeping up as I stood up. I grabbed a hold of Austin when I felt myself stumble a bit "Must be the fresh air." I giggled when he shook his head at me.

We left to grab a bite to eat, stopping at a restaurant that was nearby. We were just about to start eating when Chris came over to our table and stood by me with a purse in his hand "Sorry to interrupt, but you left your purse on the bar."

"Oh thank you." I said embarrassed, taking my purse from his hands.

"Thank you." Austin said to him before Chris walked away from the table.

I then opened my purse to make sure all my stuff was still there, I noticed a folded up piece of paper clipped to a $20.00. I took the money off and opened the paper up inside my purse, I was shocked to see that he gave me his phone number and the room number that he was in written on the paper.

"Everything there?" Austin asked.

My heart started to race and quickly closed my purse. "Yes, everything is here." I then turned my head and saw Chris wink at me before he walked back out.
