Vanessa POV:

It's been a little over three weeks since the accident, and today I find out if I get to go home or not. I was talking with Chris when the doctor came in pinching the bridge of his nose, and looked at me "Well it looks like we must have missed something, and we need to do another test."

"What would that be?" Chris asked, looking at the doctor with a worried look.

A nurse came walking in the room with another machine, pushing it towards me "We need to get some images, and see what's going on."

The nurse pulled up my gown and placed some gel on my stomach. She then grabbed a wand and started to move it around my stomach, hitting the keyboard a couple times when she stopped, my heart dropped when I realized what they were looking at. "I'm pregnant?" I questioned surprised.

Chris's mouth dropped, he looked at me then back at the screen. He took a hold of my hand and squeezed it tight. "She must have just recently became pregnant right before the accident." The nurse began to say, she then started sizing the peanut on the screen "By estimating the timing and the size of the babies, you're about five weeks pregnant."

"Wait a minute... did you just say babies, or did you mean only one?" Chris asked surprised walking over to the screen, looking to see what she saw.

She giggle "Yes, I said babies." She then pointed to the screen "That's baby a, and that's baby b."

Chris looked at the nurse and then over to the doctor "Are they going to be Ok? With all the meds that she was on, that can't be good." Chris asked worried.

"Under the circumstances she will be considered a high risk pregnancy, but I honestly believe that they will be OK." The doctor explained.

The doctor looked at me and touched my shoulder "But you are ready to go home now. I'll have her print out the images for you. After you're released I would like for you to find a doctor and that for the next couple months you'll be seen once per week to monitor those babies."

I was released and was wheelchaired to Chris's Yukon, when he helped me in, I noticed all of my boxes that I brought over to Lexi's, they were in the back of his truck. "Lexi and Drake dropped those off this morning." He said getting me situated in the seat. "I asked her to wait, but she wanted you to have your clothes, and said that she didn't want to bother us today."

"Well that was nice of her." I smiled.

"She figured that we needed alone time together, and I wasn't going to complain." He chuckled.

I had no idea where he was taking me, I knew that he mentioned that I'll be living with him. I remembered him telling me that he lived in Greeley, which was about an hour away. I was about to close my eyes and take a nap until we pulled up to a gate, he punched in a code and the gate opened. I sat up trying to figure out where he was taking me, I continued watching confused until we pulled up to a gorgeous home. "Where are we?" I asked confused.

He turned his head towards me and smiled when he parked "Home."

"Home? I thought you said that you lived in Greeley?" I asked while looking at the house.

"I did say that, and I do have a house there. But I have that house up for sale right now, I just bought this one for us." I looked at him even more confused and covered my mouth, I wasn't sure what to say "I figured that you would want to stay in Denver and be close to your friends, especially after what Lexi told me about your family. I couldn't keep you further away from her, she's like a sister to you." He said with a smile.

"When did you buy this?"

"A couple days ago, with the help of Drake and Lexi." He smiled and leaned over to me, kissing me on the lips.

"I didn't think that you ever left the hospital."

He opened the door and got out, came over to my side and helped me out of the vehicle "I didn't, I looked online at homes and when I saw ones that I was interested in, they went and looked at them for me. Lexi was the one who picked this house out, she said that you would like this one the best. It was actually my first choice too." He said smiling. "Come on, let's go check it out."

He walked me inside and my mouth dropped. It had marble flooring, and spiral case stairs as we walked inside, he then walked me into the living room, and I was floored. It was huge with a nice big fireplace, he then continued showing me the rest of the home, each room that he showed me I was in awe.

He then showed me the upstairs saying that he was saving the downstairs for last. "Well there's plenty of bedrooms up here, works out good for the twins that we will be having." I said grinning. I was still confused on how he could afford such a nice house and big at that, being just a bartender he couldn't have made this much money doing just that, he did say that he owned his own travel company, but still.

"Yes, there's five bedrooms plus the master bedroom up here, which is this room right here." He says opening the door slowly, he was grinning and I could see the excitement in him.

"Wow.... a fireplace, a screened in patio, and a Jacuzzi?" I then looked to the other side and noticed that it had a level one step up, a separate area just for the bed. I was amazed

Chris walked up to me giving me a hug, looking worried "How are you holding up?"

"I'm doing ok, I can't wait to get this cast off of my arm and this wrap I could take off of my ribs right now." He then helps take the wrap off "Are you sure you will be OK with me taking this off?" He asked concerned.

"Yes, I should be OK, if not I'll have you put it back on." I then wrapped my arms around him and gave him a kiss, a kiss that was so passionate showing him how much that I missed him, and how much I missed his lips on top of mine. It felt like heaven kissing him again that I didn't want to stop. I then had to pull back to breathe "I have missed this so much, it feels like it's been forever." I say smiling and humming.

"That's because it has been." He says kissing me back. He pulled away and took my hand "Come on let's check out the downstairs." He said like a little kid.

I took off running, he then began to chase me "Slow down before you hurt yourself again!" He called out.

I looked around when we got down the stairs, the one area had a game room with a pool table, foosball table, dart board, air hockey table, and of course a bar. Next area there was an indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. I then looked over and noticed a door, I opened it and saw that it was a gym room. "No membership needed!" I giggled.

After looking around, I still couldn't believe that he could afford a place like this and stopped walking up the steps, and turned around to look at him "Chris.. how in the world can we afford a place like this? This is so huge, and..." He stops me by placing a finger over my lips "You'll never ever have to worry about money."

I shook my head, confused. "Vanessa.. I have plenty of money, more than I know what to do with, like I explained to Lexi.. I was only working the cruises to get out of the house, to get away and get out to meet new people."

"What?"

"Whatever you want, it's yours, you can go out and buy whatever you want with no questions asked. I've told you before, I would do anything to make you happy and that you would never have anything to worry about."

"I know that you've said that, but I never expected this, not this at all."

"Remember when I told you that I owned a travel company? Well that cruise line that we were on, I own that too." He smiled.

I was in shock, I never would have guessed that he was well off, or that he owned what he owned. I just thought that he was a normal guy that just enjoyed working on cruises, how lucky could I be to actually meet and fall in love with a billionaire? "Well I guess that will explain how you knew all the islands so well."

"Yes, I never had to work them, I just choose to. I like making drinks, and seeing people enjoy themselves." He says smiling. "I'd offer you a drink, but that's off limits now." He chuckled.

"I'll take a water." I giggled.

I walked over to the patio and looked outside while he was grabbing me a water "WOW, there's a water fountain in the back yard, and a fire pit?" I turned around quickly and stood there looking at everything, just in awe feeling as if I were in heaven. "Are you sure that I didn't die in that accident?"

He chuckled "You're quite alive, Lexi claimed that you would feel like you were in heaven here."

"She knows me very well." I set the water down and gave him a hug "How did I ever get to be so lucky with you, finding you?

He picked me up and smiled "I know that you're still injured, but how would you like to try out the new bed?" Wiggling his eyebrows up and down, smiling.

"I thought that you would never ask." He carried me up the stairs and into the room laying me on the bed gently, being careful not to hurt my ribs. He then laid on the bed next to me, staring me in the eyes. "Welcome home." He smiled, while caressing my cheek.

"You really had me scared, that night when I took a break and saw all the missed calls, hearing from Lexi about what happened, I broke down. I was up all night making phone calls. I ended up hiring a private plane to fly me back here as soon as we ported that next morning. When I walked into that room and saw you laying there helpless with all those machines hooked up to you, your head covered in gauze, my heart dropped and I fell to the ground, I thought I was losing the woman that I fell in love with, the one who I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with." He paused to kiss my lips, I had some tears that were starting to shed and he wiped those away.

"I really thought that I was going to lose the perfect woman that I had desperately searched for. I made a promise to Lexi that I would cover all expenses. That if I had to, I would search for the best doctors to care for you. I wanted nothing but the best for you."

"Well I'm still here, and I'm not going anywhere." I smiled giving him a passionate kiss.

"God,I want you so bad. But im afraid to hurt you." He moaned into my mouth, rubbing my back.

"You won't hurt me. I trust you."
