That's all I need

"Mummy I don't like darkness!" someone cried while the others knew who it was.
"Rudy, it's fine" Anika said placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Anika please let's go to the lawn. Please." Rudra said still scared.
"Yeah yeah let's go, please" Om, Shivaay and Vikram joined him.
"Okay guys" she said not understanding why the guys were behaving so weirdly. Till then, no one wanted her to even enter the left wing of the mansion which had the lawn and now suddenly everyone wanted to go to the lawn.

Chucking her thoughts, she walked silently while the boys walked behind her. Everything seemed so dark as they entered the lawn. But suddenly in fraction of seconds, the decoration lights turned on and the setting in the lawn was as bright as a day.

"Uncle?" Anika called out to Vikram and before she could ask any further question Vikram said kissing her forehead, "Happy Birthday Anu beta"
"Thank you Uncle!" She said while precious tears brimmed her eyes.
"My daughter should never cry!" He said hugging her tightly.

Gauri, Chanda's parents and Anika's family soon joined them. For the first time ever, her birthday was rejoiced. That was something that she never imagined in her entire life.

The moment Vikram said "There's a gift for you Anu beta!", Anika heard a distant voice "Di!". She instantly turned back to see her brother. She was overwhelmed to hear her brother call her 'Di' for the first time.

"Abhi?!" She called out to him when he took baby steps towards her. He hugged her tightly crying like a baby in her arms.
"Di, I'm really sorry. I'm a very bad brother! I never understood you." he said still sobbing when she patted her brother's back.

"Di, you hate me right?! I don't deserve your love." He said as he remembered every single moment he hurt his sister.
"I could never hate you, you are my brother, Abhi. But yeah I was definitely angry at you, not anymore though. I'm happy you realized your mistakes." she said patting his cheek when he hugged her tightly.

Anika's parents were happy seeing the sight and so were the others. The next moment, Anika went to Vikram when he said "Anu beta don't you dare thank me. You are my daughter and I can do anything for your happiness!"
"Papa?!" She called out to him when he felt overwhelmed.
"I'm your daughter right?! She doesn't like seeing tears in her father's eyes." she said making him smile weakly.

"You will never leave me right Anu?!" Vikram remembering how destiny separated him from his little daughter years back.
"Promise, I will never leave you Vikram papa" she said hugging him.

Anika soon cut the cake. She looked at the sky thinking, "You were right Chanda. I'm deserved to be loved too. I got a beautiful family just like you told."
She felt satisfied that night, she didn't want anything else in her life.

While everyone were busy talking in the house, Anika noticed Shivaay lost in another world. Approaching him, she asked "Shivaay are you fine?!"
"Ye-yeah I'm fine Anika!" He said not facing her.
"You don't seem fine." she said again when he closed his eyes and blurted out the truth as he couldn't lie anymore, "I'm a bit tensed"

"What happened?! Tell me Shivaay!" Anika asked very much concerned when he said, "Anika I will tell you tomorrow."
Giving her a present, he continued, "I have to go now! Happy birthday once again."
He wished her and left from there confusing her with his behavior. She had never seen him like that ever before making her feel more worried for him.

That morning, Anika wore the dress Shivaay presented her and was waiting for him in the office.

But he didn't turn up that day making her restless, she called him but no response. She wondered if everything was okay but she didn't know what happened to him. OmRu gave her a good company throughout the day but she indeed missed Shivaay.

"Om, I have no clue where Shivaay stays! He has neither come to office nor has he informed any of us regarding his absence. Hope he is fine." Anika spoke much tensed.
"Anu Shivaay will be fine!" Om assured her when Rudra told trying to sound casual, "Bhai never ever mentioned about where he lives and we also never asked him!"

Before Anika could say anything further, she got a message from Shivaay, "Anika, please meet me at 7.00 P.M today. I will message you the location details in a while."
"Om, Rudra! Shivaay messaged me" Anika spoke excitedly.

"Anu has finally got her lost charm back!" Om said smiling when Rudra continued, "Anika you can't wait to leave office right?!"
"Guys!" Anika called out to them trying hard to be serious.
"Okay bye. I have to go now" she said and left from there while OmRu smiled at her.

Anika was happy and she didn't know why. She couldn't stop smiling whenever she thought of Shivaay. Till then she was dull and gloomy but then she felt as though the reason of her happiness has returned back to her.

"Anika I can't hide anymore. I need to tell you the truth" Shivaay thought as he was waiting for Anika to come.
