Jungkook helped Y/N on the first day of their college. Eventually, they ended up becoming good friends. She was an average but a bubbly girl. From sharing a few classes to visiting each other's houses to play video games, Jungkook loved to hang out with her. Gradually she became friends with Taehyung, Jungkook's elder brother.

Taehyung was her senior and college's heartthrob. With his perfectly sculpted face and masculine figure, he spared no girl's heart. But he started to fall for Y/N. After all, he placed personality and comfort over beauty.

That's how they ended up here, in the college cafeteria. She was sitting across from Tae.

"Hey, Tae you wanted to see me?"

"Yes."

"What is it"

"Ummm.... first tell me you won't abandon me after I say this," he said nervously.

"Tae what are you even asking, why would I abandon a dear and handsome friend like you?", she joked.

Tae just sighed.

"Just promise me you won't."

"Of course I won't.", she said, anticipation getting over her nerves.

Taehyung took her hand in his and softly stroked it with his thumb. Now she tried to add two and two together and figured out what was he going to say.

So watching romantic dramas do help.

"I like you, I don't know if you feel the same but can we give it a try?"

You were stunned to hear this. That too from him. You wanted to chicken out of this situation, go home dance crazy but you maintained my calm, or at least you felt you did.

"Tae I don't know what to say, I mean there are so many girls out there, so why me?" You tried to play off cool and calm.

"Because I know you well enough, plus if it doesn't work out we can always go back to being friends again."

"Okay...."

"Should I take it as a yes then?"

"Yes!", you blushed.

"Thank you Y/N!".

You both had coffee and then he dropped you at your dorm. The moment you entered the dorm you unleashed your crazy self! You called your bestie Abby and told her everything. She had a little crush on Tae, of course, who doesn't.

She got little jelly but you knew she will move on.
After ending the call you decided to freshen up and complete your assignments. As soon as you came out of the shower you saw notifications popping up on my phone screen.

Tae Tae: Hey there
                 Hope you reached
                 home safe...🙃
               
        Me: You dropped me
                 here of course I can
                 manage to climb the stairs
                 "Safely"😂

TaeTae: oh yeah😅
                 Btw I wanted to ask
                 something

        Me: Go ahead

TaeTae: Would you like to go on a
                 date with me?

         Me: Sure tae. Text my date,
                 time and add.

TaeTae: I'll tell you at college?

         Me: Sure😉

TaeTae: Bye..see you then.

         Me: Yeah bye

You still couldn't believe that THE KIM TAEHYUNG asked you out. You were so excited and nervous duh... You couldn't even think straight. You would have many perks of being his girlfriend, won't you..!?

The rest of the evening went pretty well except for the fact that your excitement had no bounds. Just the thought of Taehyung and you being together had the butterflies in your stomach getting restless.
