This picture gave me a rather dark idea

We all know countries can't kill themselves, do to the immortality. But let's not forget where that immortality is linked; that immortality is liked to their country, as long as their country lives, they live. Now, after their not a country, imagine them having immortality, only more like the kind of immortality the Hunters of Artemis in PJO have; live forever as long as their my killed.
