Injured Spider
This was supposed to be an easy job, or so Arackniss thought. Working alongside Monty Python might have been the biggest mistake of his afterlife. The warehouse was a meeting point for a drug deal, but the place was unstable. But the deal went sideways; it was a trap. There was a bomb in the building, and no one could find it until it went off. Arackniss got hit the most with the debris while Monty saw him struggling to move. Monty just left him there to die. Arackniss felt the huge, stoned debris crushing his chest along with a huge hit on the head. His vision started to become blurry from the lack of oxygen, then he blacked out.
When Arackniss woke up, he let out a small groan. He tried to sit up, but he winced in pain. He couldn't move; however, his vision started becoming clearer for him to see where he was. He found himself in an airship, high above the city. He saw that he was in a nice, comfortable bed with bandages wrapped around his whole body. He could even feel a few stitches that were placed on his head and leg. The last thing he remembered was the loud explosion and blacking out from the pain, along with Monty Python leaving him for death. He tried to sit up again while trying to ignore the pain.
Just then, the door opened, and in came the Egg Boiz. They were surprised that Arackniss was wide awake. Without hesitation, the Egg Boiz ran off to tell Pentious that the spider demon was awake. By the time Pentious got to the bedroom, he saw Arackniss trying to leave the bed. Pentious slithered over to the bed and gently touched Arackniss to get him to stop moving. "Stop. You're injured." Pentious spoke.
Arackniss looked up at Pentious, "Wha... What happening? Who are you?"
"My name is Sir Pentious. I was the one who found you in this state." Pentious answered.
Pentious went on to tell Arackniss that his injuries were too severe from the explosion. He wouldn't be completely healed for months, maybe a year. Arackniss looked like he wanted to make a break for it. He was his father's right hand; he couldn't afford to miss any work or risk his father's wrath. He begged for Pentious to let him go but Pentious didn't want Arackniss to injure himself more. He asked for Arackniss to trust him. "Trust? The last snake I trusted left me for dead. I'm not helpless." Arackniss stated.
"I never said you were. I'm sorry that happened to you. But please. Let me help you." Pentious begged.
Arackniss looked into Pentious's eyes; he felt like he was being hypnotized by those beautiful eyes. His face began to fluster up, his cheeks turning a bright shade of pink. He then quickly snapped out of it. "Uh, yeah. I suppose."
"Splendid. I'll prepare you something to eat. Um, I'm sorry, I never got your name."
"A-Arackniss." Arackniss stuttered, "My name is Arackniss."
