Sorry this one is short but the next one will be longer.

Within about four weeks, Pentious and Arackniss had a little system whenever Pentious was taking care of him. In the morning, Pentious would serve Arackniss breakfast in bed; different styles of breakfast foods. He would also check Arackniss's stitches and change his bandages too. He would be gentle with Arackniss when changing the bandages on him. Pentious would return to the room with lunch and dinner for Arackniss. He did give the little spider demon privacy when using the restroom or bathing. Pentious would try to engage in small talk with Arackniss from time to time but the spider demon never talked.

Pentious also ensured that the Egg Boiz didn't randomly barge into Arackniss's room like last time. Arackniss would get phone calls and messages from his father asking for his location and for him to come back to work for him. Arackniss would ignore the calls or text his father that he had another hit list that needed to be cleared. Though there wasn't much to do while being bedridden, Arackniss tried his best to not let it get to him. It was getting harder and harder to come up with excuses for his father. During the last call, he warned Arackniss that he'd drag him back himself if he wasn't back soon.

Late at night, Arackniss waited til he was sure that Pentious and the Egg Boiz were asleep. He pulled off the covers then he slowly got out of bed, ignoring the pain. He picked the lock to the bedroom after Pentious decided to lock him in the bedroom to prevent him from sneaking out. Once the lock was picked, Arackniss quickly snuck out of the bedroom. He had to bite his lip to prevent him from shouting in pain as he walked down the staircase. But just as he made it to the front door, he tripped on his own feet and fell flat on his face. He quickly got up and then reached for the door, hoping that Sir Pentious didn't hear him.

But luck was not on his side. Pentious woke up after hearing the thud; he saw the bedroom door was open and imminently went downstairs. He saw Arackniss almost opening the front door so he rushed over without Arackniss noticing him. He then grabbed Arackniss by the waist with his tail. Arackniss let out a surprised scream when he felt Pentious's tail around him. "Arackniss, what are you doing?" Pentious asked, acting like a parent scolding their child.

"I, um...."

"What were you thinking?! Going out while you're still in pain?!" Pentious shouted.

Arackniss tried to speak but he was dragged back to his bedroom by Pentious. He was placed back onto the bed. Pentious tried to ask Arackniss again why he tried to leave. But Arackniss kept his mouth shut. Pentious groaned in frustration, "Why are you always like this?! I'm trying to help you and yet you keep shunning me away!"

"I just can't. Look I need to leave right now." Arackniss stated, trying to get off the bed.

Pentious grabbed him by the wrist to stop him. He then looked Arackniss in the eye; he begged Arackniss to tell him what was going on. Despite Pentious's kindness, he had shown him, Arackniss couldn't bring himself to be vulnerable. Pentious decided to leave Arackniss alone but he still told him that he was here if Arackniss needed someone.
