Chapter 4
Jin got to the library and as he entered he could smell the coffee from the cafe and when he looked around there were thousands of books and he made a bet with himself that Namjoon had read at least a quarter.
Speaking of Namjoon, Jin laughed when he saw him standing near the true crime section looking through a book.
Walking up to him, Jin tapped him and said, "Namjoon hey."
Namjoon jumped and dropped the book he was holding and accidentally knocked a shelf but luckily a worker walked passed and managed to steady it.
Namjoon bowed, "I'm so sorry." he whispered.
The man shrugged and walked off.
Namjoon glared at Jin who was in tears from laughing, "Hyung, that was your fault." he said and he Folded his arms.
Jin, recovering from his laughing fit, leaned against him. "I'm sorry, Hyung is sorry. Your right is my fault." he said and squeezed Namjoon's cheek.
Namjoon huffed which Jin found cute, "Oh come on Joonie don't be mad, Hyung said he's sorry."
Namjoon sighed, "I hate you."
Jin laughed again at his old friend's stubbornness. "I love you two."
Namjoon laughed, "Why are you like this?" he said and pretended to cry.
Jin knocked his hands, "Knock it off."
Namjoon smiled, showing his dimples.
When Namjoon and Jin sat down in the cafe both ordered a coffee and while they were sat Namjoon put his hand over, Jin's
"Hyung, how are you doing?"
Jin smiled, "Me, I'm doing alright, how are you?"
"I'm good thank you Hyung,"
"So Hyung, how are Seon Yeon and Brinna?" The curiosity in Namjoon's voice was nice but Jin hadn't seen them for months.
The question hit Jin like a truck so Namjoon not knowing that Jin was having family problems eyes widened when Jin's eyes filled with tears.
Panicking, he held Jin's hands and said, "Hyung, I'm sorry."
Jin swiped his eyes. "It's okay, it's just I haven't seen them in 2 months."
"Why Hyung what happened?" asked Namjoon, his eyes soft.
Sighing wetly, Jin thought back.
"2 months ago, I made a mistake and I didn't help myself by saying what I said."
Namjoon nodded, listening intensely.
"So my mistake was, I forgot to pick Brinna up from kindergarten and when Seon Yeon asked me if I cared about work or my family."
Holding back tears Jin paused, "I said do you want me to choose, family or my career?
"And she said, if you have to ask then I know you care more about your career than us."
"I didn't mean it but I was mad and I said." Jin's eyes started watering more.
Putting his head down and softly hitting the table he finished his story, "I said maybe I do and then she told me to get out."
Tears rushed down Jin's face but he managed to choke out a final sentence, "And I haven't been back since."
Jin was sobbing now and Namjoon didn't know what to do. He had never seen Jin cry this much.
Namjoon got up and moved his chair next to Jin and he put an arm around him letting Jin rest his head on his shoulder.
"I miss them, Namjoon, especially my baby girl." said Jin through a sob.
Namjoon nodded, "I know Hyung but I have no idea about these things, you might need to go and see Jimin."
Jin nodded, "You're right." he said while wiping his face.
Namjoon's phone vibrated and he smiled apologetically, "Sorry Hyung, I have to go."
Jin smiled, "Okay it's fine, I'll go home and see Jimin tomorrow."
Namjoon hugged Hyung, "I'll see you sometime take care Hyung."
Jin hugged him back, "Yeah same to you, Joon."
Namjoon grabbed his coffee and left the library,
Jin got up and walked outside, feeling guilty because he had only told Namjoon a half truth about what happened.
Walking down the street to his car he pulled out a ring and sighed to himself.
Once he got to his car and sat inside turning the keys, he set off and he knew ecstasy where he was going.
