A Trip To The Guidance Office (Part 1)

Fell Goths POV

I was sitting at a lunch table grumbling to myself next to my brother Raven.

Why?

Well because of none other then Palette. Him and his little gangs bullying have me a little angry. It's pissing me off with how he decides to treat me. My thoughts froze when I heard Raven trying to speak to me.

"Goth? You fuckin knuckle head, answer me damnit!" He pulled my hood down over my eyes, blinding me and snickered at me. "Come on Goth, talk to me."

I lightly pushed him, laughing myself as I fixed my hood, "Sorry Raven. I got a little lost in my thoughts. Anyways what were you saying?" I inquired. I enjoyed when we were like this. Just brothers, smiling and laughing at one another.

Normally Raven was gone from school because he had 'business' to attend to. Whatever that business was, he never told anyone about it. Not even me, which hurt but I know he's just trying in his own way to help our family.

Raven smirked at me, "As I was saying. I think I can get you into a nicer school." I blinked at him, not really believing him.

"Your telling me," I paused, hope dancing in my eye sockets, "You might be able to get me out of this hell hole?" Don't get me wrong. The school is nice, it's the people that make it a hell hole even the teachers have a hand in that.

"Ya!" His smirk widened, "Remember that new counselor we just got? That really strange red boned skeleton?" He asked.

I nodded, "What about him?"

"Well, I heard he has two younger brothers that go here. He's planning on sending one of them to a different school." He reached into one of his pockets and pulled out an apple, handing it to me, "Take it, I know Palette took your lunch." I was confused why he gave me that tidbit of information as I took the apple and bit into it chewing it.

I swallowed the chunk I bit off, "Why are you telling me this?" I asked while taking another bite of the apple.

His smirk grew, "He has a kind soul, and he's a counselor. He supposed to help you if you need it. I could ask him if he would allow you to go to that school with his brother." I swallowed the piece I was chewing and snorted.

"Your kidding right? Kind souls get crushed here quick. Siblings don't mean anything in this school ether. Look at Mr.Nightmare and Mr.Dream, it was literally just last week that they almost destroyed the school if it wasn't for-" Raven cut me off.

"That new counselor right?" The smirk disappeared and changed into a serious, tight lipped gaze.

I grumbled in annoyance, "Yes." He could hear the reluctance in my voice when I answered him. I couldn't help it, I hated when I was wrong.

He sighed, "Goth, look at it this way." He paused and looked around the lunch room, then turned back to me, "A counselor is supposed to help you. That includes asking if it would be possible to transfer to another school. He can give you information other teachers can't because there not in his line of work." He explained carefully and quietly, "And if you two become close then he might even help you more then a normal counselor would. Normally they're only supposed to help you with paperwork, emotional shit, and college searching." He shrugged his shoulders, "That's about all I know. Considering where that counselor came from, that school he's planning on sending his brother to sounds a fuck ton better then here."

I glared at him, "Raven, do you know how many counsellors I've been to? Not one of them understood and kept saying 'toughen up'. That's why I quite seeing them." I growled out, taking another bite of my apple.

Raven put a hand on my shoulder, "If you want I'll accompany you to his office, he should be in there right now." I raised a nonexistent eyebrow at him.

"Now?" I questioned.

He nodded giving me a genuine smile, "Just give him a shot Goth. I visited him once, he's got a hell of a lot to say within an hour. He'll even give us passes back to class I bet."

"Just one hour?" I questioned again.

He nodded once again. "If you don't like him then I'll just ask if he could let you go with his bother. He doesn't have a thick skull and he isn't stupid Goth. If you want thick skulled then go to Geno. If you want stupid then go anywhere not inside this school." His smile turned into a grin. I let out a long heavy sigh as I continued to eat my apple and muttered a very reluctant 'fine'.

~

After 15 minutes the bell rang signaling the students to go to class. I stood up, Raven standing with me as I finished off the rest of the third apple he had given me, throwing it in a trash bin.

Raven grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the hall way towards the office. With the hand Raven didn't have the wrist of, I raised my over the shoulder book bag and held it close to my chest. I hated hallways, the tension always rises and the feeling of being unsafe increases.

Although with Raven here I felt safer with him then I ever did alone. His eyes always keep people away and his angry posture just adds intimidation to anyone who tries to mess with him. He wants to be noticed and wants people to be afraid. I think he gets that from Reaper.

I was always the quieter one, always wanted to blend into the background. My timid posture and casted downward eyes opening up unwanted attention like bullying. I most likely get that from Geno.

Raven turned a corner past the office, pulling me along gently as I followed eagerly. I sort of wanted to meet the new counselor. Just out of curiosity! And maybe just to get out of the hallway. 'I feel like someone is following us.' I thought. Raven having noticed it too due to his constant glances backwards.

We finally made it to the guidance office. Whoever was following us continued to follow us. Raven opened the door and pulled me forward, pushing me inside. He followed after me and slammed the door, "Damn kids." He muttered. I shook my head at his behavior and looked around the guidance office.

It was quiet, had a nice flowery sent filling the air. The room was large, having nice tan walls with two tables and a bunch of chairs scattered about the room. There was a desk with a deer monster looking wide eyed at Raven and I. 'Must of scared her. Oops.' I chuckled to myself and continued to look around.

A few book cases laid against certain walls while pictures littered the walls of different counsellors with there accomplishments. Some old, some fairly new. A few kids were also here. I recognized Blueprint, Bluescreen, Gradient, Unfresh, and Papercut. They didn't even look up at Raven or I.

I looked back at Raven who was talking to the deer monster and decided to listen to there conversation, "Excuse me Mis.Jingles could we see Mr.Fantasy?" He asked with a smile.

Her shocked expression change into a gentle smile, "Of course you can." She stood up, "Let me see if anyone's in there with him. Excuse me." She walked out from behind her desk and walked up to a very interesting looking door. It was smothered in paint with a giant violet dripping heart in the center. She lightly knocked on the door. Shuffling was heard as well as giggling and the door opened revealing a tall blue boned skeleton.

"Oh! Hey Mis.Jingles! How are ya?" The skeleton asked her.

Mis.Jingles shook her head, "Wheres your brother Fantasy?" She asked, slightly amused.

'What's she amused about?' I thought as I examined the tall monster. When I locked onto his face I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing. Someone decided to 'decorate' the tall blue skeleton in neon purple paint.

He grinned at her, "He's in here playing with paint. Then me and Wish decided to paint his desk yellow. And, well, I think you can guess what happened there." He chuckled.

Mis.Jingles smiled and shook her head in disappointment, "Well, tell Mr.Fantasy that he has visitors. They can wait or he can send them to class." She explained.

The skeleton blinked for a moment, seeming unsure of why visitors were here in the first place. He turned the upper half of his body back inside the room, "Hey Fantasy. Ya got a few kids here that wanna talk to ya." A bang was heard as well as more shuffling. Giggles could be heard inside the room as well.

I looked towards Raven, "Are you sure I can't back out now?" Raven just looked at me with a smirk and said nothing. 'Great, I'm going to be stuck with a crazed counselor and my jackass of a brother.' I muttered incoherent words while Raven gave me a look that was riddled with amusement. 'Damn you Raven.' I thought as my eyes meet his in a glaring contest only, I was the only one glaring. Raven just had a smile that surprisingly reached his eyes.
