____________
The glowing pearl shaped moon washed over your face, cascading the type of gentleness i had always craved.
You trapped me like a caged bird. I was trying to escape but couldn't.
The stupid butterflies kept returning whenever your gaze caught mine across the room, as if secretly trying to drink the ambrosial nectar.
You asked me about myself and surprisingly i didn't hesitate.
The introverted me was replaced by a blabbering mess i never knew i had possessed.
"Quiet people are the most talkative around right person, Violet." you would state.
Like an open book, you memorised my deep buried self.
As if you were the poet and i was your beautiful poem.
I wondered how.
You also told me how you used to come there on every weekends.
But the rumors of a haunted place halted your staying.
You never wanted to go back but you had to. Only to sneak in again and again.
The sheer moonlight and the calming breeze caressed our beings, swirling around then retreated as our eyes locked again.
To avoid the red hue that threatened to come out i called out for you.
"Yes, beautiful?"
Heart skipping a beat i blushed profusely at your endearment.
Oh, how it sounded so lovely back then!
Like a vague magic your fingertips played the 'Photograph' and my hips started swaying rhythmically.
Like a swan in waves.
As if you cast an unimaginable spell that captured me so gracefully i didn't know i could ever break.
The bare, silent four walls started humming a canopy as your hands and my legs synchronised in an incandescent nostalgia.
Never once letting it slip the eye contact.
At one point, i forgot the reason of my arrival. Nor did i want to remember. All i was focused on was one name.
Alexander.
I thought i just found my serendipity.
