Please,

I'm searching for anyone,

someone,

somebody,

anybody,

to come across.

Running hastily, my whole body crashes with a woman that looks no older than thirty. The impact causes me to fall on my back, while the woman loses her balance, but managed to stand on her feet.

"[Y/N]?"

She exclaimed, with her eyes bulged and I'm startled by her words.

'She knows who I am!'

The feeling was almost euphoric. I'm running and searching for someone to finally recognized me. I shouldn't waste this opportunity.

I open my mouth to ask her something, but it ended up as silence.

Feeling uncomfortable under my unstoppable gaze, she softly take a hold of my arms and dragged me away.

"Let's talk in my office. You seem to have many questions"

And so I did. She didn't seem like a danger to me, so why not?

She lead me to a room with a desk in the middle of the room and some sofa. There seems to be no one at sight.

"So how are you? Did something happen?"

She started as she sat on one of the sofa. I followed her action and sunk myself into the soft cushion.

Processing her words, a flash of memory come to my mind.

Black things, sharp teeth, pain.

I blink the nightmare away, trying my best to forget the events that happened by shrugging my head.

"I had a nightmare, and I felt really lonely"

My voice came out softly, but enough for her to hear in this isolated room.

I'm trembling because of the terror. She could probably read through me like a clear glass. She looks like she knew something, but she didn't let it show.

"Would you care to tell me what kind of nightmares do you have? And why do you feel lonely?"

She listened to me very seriously, she is a good listener. I would love to answer her questions, but I myself didn't know why.

Its just a hunch, maybe?

'We got each other, don't we?'

A passionate whisper ding in my ears. It sounded like a bell, clear and ringing. This familiar voice... I know this voice!

'I love you'

The voice rang again, and at that very moment, everything came back to me.

I look at her straight in the eye and say,

"He wasn't there when I wake up"
