Once upon a time, many ages ago,
Legend has it that dragons ruled the skies,
Metallic scales and gigantic wings aglow,
Majestic was a dragon when it flies.

Dragons that flew with tempest and gentle breeze,
And would breathe out scorching tendrils of fire,
And silver wyverns whose icy breath could freeze,
Hot water springs and heated iron spire.

With great magic endowed, blessings they could give,
But then insisted on human worship,
This arrogance made the humans combative,
And strive to break free from the dragons' grip.

The stories tell of long and bloody battle,
When knowledge fought against magical might,
Dragons died and humans slaughtered like cattle,
Yet humans emerged victors in the fight.

Banished through portal, where another world lies,
Now there are no signs wyverns once lived, though,
Myths say that magical dragons ruled the skies,
