One is primary, original and beginnings new,
A pair, a couple, the only even prime is two.

Three is a charm, a triad and the trinity,
Four is balance, rhythm, and perfect totality.

Five are the senses the prime elements,
Six deemed perfect by Greek ancients.

Both  have seven, the list of virtue and vice,
Eight is infinity, symmetrical and nice.

The most powerful of all is number nine,
Of magic and wisdom, it is a sign.

Then comes ten, a zero after one,
Signifying a new cycle has begun.
