Jungkook's Pov

It's 3rd period right now and I am bored out of my mmiinnndddd~

I look over towards Jade to see what she's doing and she's falling asleep in the middle of her notes, I try so hard not to laugh. I push her enough so that her head slips out of her hand, she quickly wakes up before her head can faceplant on to the desk. I laugh as quietly as I could but Jade still heard me, she glares my way and smacks me upside the head but I'm still laughing hard, her reaction was just too much 😂

"JUNGKOOK! JADE! PAY ATTENTION!!"

I heard our teacher yell at us, I hold in my laugh and nodded while Jade apologies, not before pushing me so hard I almost fall out of my seat.

The teacher starts to turns back to the white board, but not before she gets interrupted by Jade's phone going off in her pocket, her ringtone being a song I've actually never heard of, which is surprising because I basically know what Jade listens to on a normal basis and what type of music she does and doesn't like. But that wasn't the only thing that caught me off guard, it was also that voice.... and that one line sentence...

Please dry my eyes aaahhhhhhhh-

Before I could fully hear his high note, Jade quickly answers her phone, bows to her teacher and quickly runs out of the classroom before the person on the other end could start talking.

I am left here curious and desperate, Who was that artist?? How come I've never heard that voice in my life?? Me and Jade basically have the same taste in music so how come she hasn't told me about this artist?? I got hooked on his voice just after hearing it for 1 SECOND!! Oh does Jade have some explaining to do.....

*5 minutes go by*

Yeah, that's it I'm not waiting any longer, I raise my hand and ask to go to the bathroom

"Make it quick" the teacher responses with, so I quickly get up and walk out the door, as soon as I'm in the hallways I'm frantically looking around for Jade, which doesn't take long for me to find her when I hear her shout

"WHAT!! MOM!! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME SOONER!! HOW HURT IS HE??!"

Well now...who's he? I know it's not any of our hyungs since she just received this news so that must mean he's already in the hospital and all hyungs where present this morning so who is he? Well, this just got more interesting....I'm sure Jade won't mind if I hear in on this

Jade's Pov

"I'm sorry sweetie...but I didn't tell you because you were at school and I wanted you to stay in school and not ditch to go see him just like whenever this happens, which we both know happens often"

I sighed at my mother's response, it's true, my grades are good considering how often I ditch just to see if taehyung is doing ok in the hospital, but I know I can get better grades if I didn't ditch so much...

"I understand mom but you still should have told me, he really could have needed me this time! How is he?? What did he go to the hospital for this time???" I question my mother frantically

"He's in the hospital because he fainted when trying to go to the beach, and cut his hand against broken glass when he tried to break his fall with his hands, he also has burns but not too bad, today he decided to try and go to the beach which unfortunately is an extremely hot day today, so he fainted the moment he stepped foot on to the sand, the heat was too much for him, we found him a half an hour later unconscious with a small pool of blood formed around his hand, thankful it wasn't too deep and he didn't need to got to the emergency room this time, this all happened this morning when you were on your way to school and during your first period, I'm sorry sweetie pls don't cry...."

I was pretty shocked when my mother said that last sentence, that was then I noticed my sniffing and blurry eye vision, I felt a few tears rolled down my eyes as I tried to clam myself down.

"I'm ok mom, don't worry, is he ok now though? Is he awake??"

"Yes sweetie he is, you can see him after you get out of school, just please don't ditch ok? I know how much you care about him but you have to care about your grades too, especially if you want to go to that college all your friends are all attending already"

I can hear the concern and sincerity in her voice and that slightly comforts me...but I need to hear how taehyung is doing, from taehyung.

"Don't worry mom I won't, I'll just give him a quick call ok? Did the hospital let him keep his phone this time?"

"Yes they did, me and Mrs Kim requested he keep his phone for your and he's sake so his doctor and nurse agreed"

"Ok mom, thank you, I'll give him a call right now ok? I love you"

"I love you too sweetie~, wipe those tears away ok? You'll see him soon"

"Alright mom I will, bye"

"Bye"

I hung up and quickly called taehyung, as I hear it ring my mind races, I hope taehyung is doing ok, what if he broke down again and I wasn't there?? What if he's starting to lose hope?? Is he eating? Is he sleeping? Is he-

"Hello? Jade?" I hear taehyungs voice, breaking through to me, he's voice is raspy, I knew it, he was crying.

"Taehyungie!! What happened?? Are you ok, I know you were crying and it's ok ill-"

"Jade! Jade, calm down, down worry I'm ok, and no I wasn't crying, I just woke up from a nap and I'm exhausted" taehyungs voice interrupted me, he tried to sound cheerful but I know he's lying.

"Taehyung your such a lier, do you think I was born yesterday?? And what happened to our promise about you going outside by yourself?! When you want to go outside you take me with you! Not go out by yourself"
I scolded him gently through the phone, I can feel myself tearing up as I was scolding him too so I stopped before he could notice.

"I'm sorry Jade...I went outside because I really wanted to go to the beach and I didn't want to burden you because you were on your way to school, and your right...I did have a little breakdown but I'm better now after my nap so please don't cry jade~
I much rather you laugh with me than cry, you know this"

I sniffled after hearing his words and quickly wipe my tears away.

"How could I not taehyungie, it sucks that I can't see you right now when you need me most, my mom called me just now and told me the news and how you got into the hospital in the first place, you know how much I worry when it comes to you taehyung..."

  I sniffled again as I finished my sentence, he's like a brother I've never had, we've been together since babies and the thought of him getting hurt badly without me there to protect him breaks my heart...I seriously can't bear the thought...

"Jade, don't worry please, it's ok if you can't see me right now, I'm not so badly hurt compared all those other times and-"

"But at least I was with you...." I let out a small whimper as I feel more tears fall from my eyes.

Whenever he wanted to go out I would be there with him and keep track of time, and went I wasn't on top of that, I would know how to keep him safe so he wouldn't have to go to the hospital...but I wasn't there this time..

"Jade..."

"Taehyung-ah.."

"Yes?"

"Please... promise me you won't ever do this again..that whenever you want to go out you'll let me know and I'll go with you... please?? For your sake and mine"

"Alright jade, I promise, this will be my first and last time going out by myself...can you stop crying now? I hate hearing you cry over me especially"

"I'll try...and Taehyung?"

"What?"

"Don't lose hope ok, you have me... always remember that ok? I have a good feeling this will all be over soon so, don't ever lose hope ok?"

Taehyung falls silent but I can hear his sniffles through the phone and a small groan

"Ahhh~! Jaaddee~! Why did you have to make me cry! You honestly always know what to say in times like this...when are you coming to see me because I miss you~" I can hear his pout over the phone and I giggle at that.

"Straight after school ok, I'll be sprinting so it shouldn't take long, same hospital right?"

"Yep, I can't wait! Alright jade, I think you should go back to class now, I know your still in your 3rd period so hurry back so you can see me later ok? LOVE YOU JADE!!" he yells the last 3 words loud and I laugh slightly at that.

"I LOVE YOU TOO YOU BIG GOOF!! I can't wait to see you too, bye Taehyungie~"

"Bye jade~"

He hangs up before I can, I quickly make my way towards the bathroom to clean myself up, but on the way there, I get tugged back by someone and before I know it I'm embraced in a tight hug, I really can't breathe with how tight this hug is, and I know exactly who gives these types of hugs. It's jungkook.

Jungkook's Pov

Before Jade could go anywhere, I grabbed her and pulled her in for a hug. I hated watching her cry like that, without being able to do anything...

I feel her small arms wrap around me, squeezing me just as tight as I'm squeezing her just for a second, then she starts punching my chest.

"Yah! I can't breathe, and how dare you eavesdrop on my conversation!! Why did you even come out here in the first place huh?! Are you list-"

"Yes! Yes I am, calm down 😂" I laugh at her reaction, at least it wasn't as bad as I was imagining what she would do to me if she found out I was eavesdropping 😨.

I let go of the hug and get a good look at her face, her eyes are all red and her face was still wet from her tears, her face got a little puffy too.

"Awwww, Jade..." I frown a little at her current state, I've seen her cry before but only once or twice, she doesn't like to cry in front of anyone and besides that she doesn't cry very easily, and if she can shed a lot of tears from two phone calls then this must of been serious...I pull her in for a short gentle hug this time, she returns the gesture and pats my shoulders.

"I'm fine, don't worry, we better get to class, but first let me at least clean my face" she turns around and walks into the girls bathroom, I wait for her outside.

*5 minutes pass*

She walks out and I walk beside her, she may have been crying but that doesn't mean I'm letting her off the hook just yet.

"Oh Jade, you've got some explaining to do" I smirk in her direction, she turns her head towards me, face full of confusion.

"What do you mean??? If anything ITS YOU who has some explaining to do, eavesdroper!" She points her finger towards me as she finished her sentence. I put my hands up in defense.

"I had my reasons when following you in that hallway, how about at break we ditch the hyungs and go to the rooftop to talk about this, cause I have questions you NEED to answer, and I'll answer your questions, deal?" I looked at her eagerly and she sighs before answering.

"Fine, deal. But I can't tell you everything you want to know, if your questions involve my phone calls that is, ok?"

"Ok, I'll get as much info as I can from you" and with that last sentence, I walk into class first, going straight to my seat, Jade apologies and bows to the teacher, saying the call was very important and from her mother, the teacher let's it slide and Jade comes to take her seat next to mine.

After this period is break, and I am dying to get my questions answered.
