The truth is as clear as daylight
It won't go down without a fight
The truth is as golden as daylight
But to some its a horrid fright
The truth is as blinding as daylight
When not neglected, it can really shine
The truth is as bright as daylight
Dashing out justice on heinous crimes
The truth is as glorious as daylight
Sprinkling warmth, joy on those who are right.

But the whole time, what if
It was lie, disguised in truth's clothes, running swift?
And do we have the courage
To face the real truth, without coverage?
