Natsuki Kirishima (切島 夏希, Kirishima Natsuki) is a student and the tetartagonist in Korosensei's Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School. She was moved to Class 3-E due to her dropped grades and unbecoming behavior with teachers and students. She is also one of Nagisa and Kaede's closest friends, as well as Karma's biggest rival.

Appearance

Natsuki has chestnut hair and eyes and is often seen wearing two small flower hair clips. She wears the default Kunugigaoka junior high female uniform which includes a gray blazer on top of a white shirt associated with a black necktie, gray skirt, black shoes, and dark leggings. She's the only female character who wears a short beneath her skirt as well.

Seven years after graduation, Natsuki has grown considerably taller along with her chest. She wears a white shirt with its sleeves pulled upwards, black jeans, and green-and-white shoes.

Personality

Natsuki is short-tempered, prideful, and has an improper attitude with some slight violent boyish tendencies and insecurities, but despite this, she is friendly and easygoing.
She often shows an incredibly immature and selfish side and even slight tendencies when she's insulted. To add to this childishness, she is inclined towards cute things, most specifically, and merchandise. She has a very irrational and unexplained fear of bugs. She can also be slightly hypocritical at times. While generally amicable and humble, Natsuki is highly individualistic. She often prefers to be solitary and dislikes the idea of being restricted by rules and duties such as she wishes to avoid endangering other people and relies on her powers to try to solve problems on her own, frequently despite her better judgment.

She has a keen sense of justice, demonstrated by her frequent involvement in the crime-fighting body, and her resolve is unshakable. She secretly likes cute things and is easily embarrassed. She often reads manga for free in her spare time and goes to the bookstore each month. She's also good at playing the violin and has a very high and delicate musical sensation. Furthermore, Natsuki naturally acts as a leader and becomes the center of attention by everyone, yet she cannot mingle with those people regardless of being the center.

ʟᴇᴀᴅᴇʀꜱʜɪᴘ: Natsuki has shown signs of being a born leader due to her strong personality and seriousness in battle. She has wisdom in planning and decision-making and is shown to have a strategic brain.

ɪɴᴛᴇʟʟɪɢᴇɴᴄᴇ: Natsuki is known for having a high intelligence and her grades are overall good even though she dropped out of Class B. It is shown that she hates maths a lot, but when she puts her head into it, is serious about it, and stops being annoyingly stubborn, she can solve some hard equations.

ᴄᴏᴍʙᴀᴛ ꜱᴋɪʟʟꜱ: Aside from her intelligence, Natsuki possesses some high physical combat skills such as high reflex and agility regardless of her petite form. She's one of the most powerful female students in Class E and would only be defeated by Karma, but sometimes her strength can be almost equal to him.

ꜱᴘᴇᴇᴅ: Due to her being an ex-track team runner, Natsuki possesses very high speed and is considered the fastest student among all of her fellow Class E classmates. She can pull out her gun at a very high speed that others can't even see her movements, even Koro-Sensei. When she runs out in the open, it's often very hard for the others to keep up with her abnormal speed.

ᴍᴀʀᴋꜱᴍᴀɴꜱʜɪᴘ: Natsuki is ranked 5th for marksmanship, girls' side, being the eighth among all the class.

Relationships

ɴᴀɢɪꜱᴀ ꜱʜɪᴏᴛᴀ

Nagisa and Natsuki share a close brother-sister relationship. They're considered as some of the closest people to one another in Class 3-E. It is probably due to the fact that both of them are lonely children with no siblings, and mostly because Nagisa was one of the first students to try to get closer to Natsuki when she first transferred. Their relationship is very close and strong to the point that Natsuki is the second person after Karma who Nagisa calls by its first name and not last. The two of them are often seen hanging out together and Nagisa is dragged to the manga bookstore by Natsuki. He's the first person in class who Natsuki warmed up to, and she trusts him deeply to the point of sharing personal information about her and her life with him without being scared.

ᴋᴏʀᴏꜱᴇɴꜱᴇɪ

Natsuki sees Korosensei as a fatherly figure as he helped her very much with her familial problem and said "You did what my dad couldn't do." At first, like all the students of Class 3-E, Natsuki disliked Korosensei and attempted to assassinate him multiple times, but he suspected Natsuki's unusual hostility to be forced especially around boys which made him investigate more about her until he figured out the entire story behind her. Despite Natsuki's huge hate for maths, Korosensei knew that she had great mental ability and analysis and was sure she had what it takes when she devoted all of her attention and mind to it. He believed in her mathematical abilities and encouraged her to give it all until she was convinced and was even surprised at what she could do when she really wanted.

ᴋᴀʀᴍᴀ ᴀᴋᴀʙᴀɴᴇ

The two of them share a complex relationship in that sometimes they seem like partners in crime and other times, they can be the worst rivals to the point of being ready to kill one another. Karma first took interest in Natsuki when she first transferred to Class 3-E and was the second person after himself to injure Koro Sensei, and starting from that point, their rivalry began growing. At first, Natsuki had a big hostility and disliked Karma and even expressed the desire to kill him several times, but Karma was thrilled by her physical abilities and speed and found them "interesting." After Natsuki's problem is solved thanks to Koro Sensei's efforts, the two seem to be initially closer than before much to the attention of their classmates.

They began hanging out together more often and even discovered that they had mutual interests to their surprise such as their interests in video games and movies. Due to them both having a familiar mischievous persona, it's seen that Natsuki enjoys planning and executing pranks along with her "partner in crime." As Karma and Natsuki began to warm up to each other more and more, they both began revealing their true selves hidden behind the mischievous masks they wore and told secrets about themselves.

ᴋᴀᴇᴅᴇ ᴋᴀʏᴀɴᴏ

Kaede is considered to be the closest female student in Class 3-E to Natsuki as they were able to become close friends rather quickly. She's equally close to Natsuki with Nagisa and Karma and they enjoy each other's company. They're seen to be talking a lot with each other and sharing their interests and hobbies, and they also enjoy shopping together. Their relationship is described as a "sisterly bond" as they watch the other's back. A lot of times, Natsuki would tease Kaede about her romantic relationship with Nagisa and would often say "Don't forget to invite me to the wedding." or "I'll be your bridesmaid, 'kay?" Kaede would get really embarrassed due to Natsuki's continuous teasing and then learn to find a weakness in her so she can tease her about it, mostly about her secret and odd habits and hobbies.

Those two are fairly close as the main reason and the beginning of their friendship is Natsuki's interest in Itona's works with electronics much to his delight. When Itona was once asked by Ryoma Tersasaka about his opinion of Natsuki, his answer was very neutral and vague since he stated that she's a "cool person." It's most likely that Itona is the third closest male student to Natsuki after Nagisa and Karma.
