I recently turned 12, and that means I'm literally going to die soon.. Wow, never thought I'd say that when I'm 12.. *sigh* anyway, luckily I haven't got a letter or whatever. Through out year 6 and 7 (ages 10 and 11) we learn about Ethopnia.

My alarm goes off at 7am. I grab my phone, turn off the alarm and open Snapchat. I watch all the stories and on the last one, Jades story, it's a black screen that says "I was killed by carboniteia noticea... Who's next?"

I gasp is shock.. I throw my phone to the end of my bed and put my hands over my face "oh my god..." I get up out of bed and try to make it seem like nothing happened. "Morning sweetie!" My mum greets me, I smile at her "You okay? Did one of your friends..?" I nod my head. "Oh no! That's horrible to hear.." She says to me as she puts my breakfast on the table.

8:00am - I jump into the car to go to school. Mum jumps in, "Right, let's go to school!" She says in a cheerful voice.
"Mum that's going to help. It's going to happen to me soon..!" My mum looks at me sadly "Well, I'm going to do EVERYTHING I can to keep my little munchkin stay alive! Belle, I am not letting you die for not doing anything, that stupid 'Ritual' is sick!" I nod in agreement..

8:30am - I walk up the school driveway, I hear footsteps behind me, getting louder and louder. "BELLE!!" My best friend Storm yells behind me. "Oh hey Storm!!.. Did you hear about Jade?" She nods "Sadly yes.. I mean she actually kinda liked me! Like that's freaking rare!" I roll my eyes. "I'm right here!" "True."

9:30 - Classtime, woo. "OK students, I'm just going to get it out of the way. Jade and Carl were killed. Now that's out of the way, lets do the roll." The class begins talking about the killings "Miss, how were they killed!?" "They cut your stomach open while you sleep, remove one of your lungs, remove your heart and then inject this stuff called 'Carboniteia Noticea' into you, and it instantly kills them if removing the heart wasn't enough." I say, the teacher looks at me wide eyed. "Well you know a lot about it don't you Belle?"
