I lay in my cave. Though it was evening, I still lay wide awake. It'd been two weeks since my treatment had started, and I'd been growing stronger by the day. Nevertheless, Kletasuah still had me on mandatory bed rest. My restlessness was increasing. I was just itching to be in nature again, to walk on my own two feet.

At least I was allowed visitors now. Two days ago, Kletasuah had permitted Leu and Gea to see me. Gea had been forced to move into another cave temporarily while I was still recovering so as not to disturb me. It was wonderful to have contact with people again. It was driving me crazy to lie in the dim cave all alone with nothing to do.

Yesterday, I'd been in for a real surprise. Ul m'ka and Sa k'u had stopped by to thank me for making the sunlight dress. Sa k'u had worn the gown during their visit. It was exquisite on her, better than I would have ever imagined. They both were surprisingly friendly for a change. Perhaps they saw all the care that I put into making the dress, or maybe they were still just recovering from the shock of the events that had occurred. Or, they just felt sorry for me since I was ill. Regardless, they were very kind to me, though they had acted kind of strangely. I asked how the rest of their family was doing, and Ul m'ka nearly burst into tears.

I mentioned it to Kletasuah, and she had only pursed my lips and informed me that I needed to take another nap. I decided not to obsess over what had happened. I'd find out in good time. All that mattered right now is that I sleep and drink tea that Kletasuah made for me three times a day.

I turned my face to the heavens above. The moon wasn't visible, but that made it easier to see the stars. They were magnificent, softly glistening in the night sky. They had all gathered, some big, some small, watching me from afar. I smiled up at them.

Thank you for sharing your light with me. Thank you for providing enough rays for the dresses. The largest star in the sky seemed to wink at me, sending a showed of stardust my way.
