Two years prior, a group of thirteen knights meant to protect the Queen committed the worst of crimes. The knights, taking advantage of the death of the queen and her husband, ended up forcing the crown princess to abdicate her throne in their favor. 

Now, two years later the country has been thrown into civil strife as the thirteen knights fight for supremacy, each seeking to name themselves monarch. The only ones that can hope to put an end to the conflict are those foretold in the legends of the Amethyst Clan, the chosen four, the ones with the power bestowed upon them by the gods of old.
