"Hm." Max hummed, holding the black dress up against his chest as he looked at himself in the full length mirror that leaned up against the wall. He knew he probably shouldn't be doing this, but god, it felt so right to be. He smiled a little, maybe he could try it on, the dressing rooms were 5 feet away from where he was standing, maybe he could try it on real quick, then go find Ronnie and get the hell out of this store before he gets himself in trouble for trying on a dress in public. Fuck, he wished people weren't so close minded.

"Hey Max, I found the jacket I came to get, wanna go to another store now-"

Max nearly jumped a foot and a half into the air as he heard the familiar voice of his boyfriend Ronnie come from behind him. He hated when Ronnie did that.

"Uuh, What the fuck are you doing?" His boyfriend of almost six years asked, raising an eyebrow as Max tried to hide the black dress behind his back in hope that that wasn't what he was referring to. But, he already saw, and max knew that.

"What do you mean?" Max asks, trying his hardest to play dumb. He knew what Ronnie meant, and he knew that he was so very screwed, because now Ronnie knew and he didn't want him to find out like this. 'God,' Max thought to himself 'why can't anything go my way for once?'

"Dude, you looked like you were trying to see how that dress looked on you. I mean, I knew you were gay, but I didn't know you were that fuckin gay." Ronnie snickered, holding his hand over his mouth to try to silence the sickening noise that was escaping past his lips. Max huffed in frustration, he was so fucking done with Ronnie and all his goddamn jokes. Ronnie never took anything seriously, and that made Max so fucking mad, even if he did love the guy. The shorter black haired "boy" groaned and shoved the black dress into his boyfriends chest, walking towards the bright green exit sign above the door where they had come in, with Ronnie chasing after him.

"Oh c'mon Max! You know I was joking! Why are you so offend? What's wrong?" The older of the two complained as he followed his boyfriend out of the store and into the main part of the mall, reaching for his small wrist, to which Max yanked his wrist back and held it to his chest.

"Fucking nothin, okay!?" Max snapped. Ronnie's face showed an expression of shock at first, but then quickly turned to one that showed nothing but anger. Oh no, Max knew he shouldn't have yelled, now he's really in for it. Ronnie growled and grabbed Max by his hair and pulled him towards his chest, not even caring that they were in the middle of the walk way were anybody could see them. Max whimpered, grabbing onto Ronnie's hand that was gripping his black hair tightly.

"Don't ever do that again, do you hear me? Don't you ever fuckin disrespect me like that again you little bitch." Ronnie growled in his boyfriends ear.

"I-I, Ronnie, please, I'm so s-sorry, I'll never do it again, I promise, I'm sorry..." Max pleaded. Ronnie huffed angrily and shoved his head away, watching as his boyfriend stumbled back, nearly tripling. Ronnie smirked. He knew it was wrong to treat max the way he did, but, for some odd reason, he found a sense of dominance and control in treating Max as if he was worth nothing. But he loved his Maxie, he just had a strange way of showing it. Or at least, that's how Max thought of it. Ronnie was a broken, tortured soul, and he needed to be helped.
Yet, Max had not the slightest clue what he could've done to help him, besides letting his boyfriend kick him around like a stray dog. It was pathetic and Max knew it, but he loved Ronnie, and Ronnie loved him.

He just hoped that Ronnie still loves him after he tell him that he's been dating a girl for the past five and a half years.

Maxwell? No, actually, it's Maxine.
