Hermione, Ron, Harry and Ginny came home for their second break of the school year. They were ecstatic to be greeted by a happy Sophia even though they had heard about the little run-in at the twins' shop. But they hadn't yet been informed about the use of the Pensieve and the finding out of Draco Malfoy being a confirmed Death Eater. The Order decided it was best to keep this among themselves as having the boy at Hogwarts while Harry was there wasn't safe for either of them.

"Fleur and Bill have been here frequently. They're planning their wedding for next summer," George informed to the group when Molly had turned away to make some lunch. "Been driving Mum mad. We've named the frog Phlem."

"You do know that she's actually quite nice?" Sophia spoke up. "When she wants to be anyway..."

"Yeah only to you love," Fred rolled his eyes from behind her. "She's resulted to calling George and I Twin one and Twin two now."

"How are you feeling Sophia?" Hermione decided to change the topic. She leaned closer from her place on the sofa towards Sophia who sat in the armchair closest to her. Ever since Hermione had heard about Sophia's breakdown, she had been bursting to at least send an owl to know the full details. But since most of the OwlPost was being intercepted by the Ministry and supposed Death Eaters, it wasn't safe to. She had practically leaped at Sophia when they had first walked through the door of The Burrow, bursting to ask all the questions she had on her mind.

"I-I'm better... definitely better," she glanced at Fred who had moved forward to stand next to her particular armchair. "I remember most things now. I feel much more human too."

"That's good to hear," Ginny piped up and smiled encouragingly. "How about any magic? Can you remember how do some of that?"

"I haven't really tried since I'm still underage," Sophia shrugged, and purposely ignored her left side where she knew Fred was peering down at her intensely. "But I'd love to try. It's been so long."

Her listeners nodded understandingly and the atmosphere turned much more casual, diving into the subject of how awful Ron's potions grades were at the moment. The reason why she had been wary of mentioning her remembrance while around Fred was because of how different he has been since seeing her memory. He's been much more encouraging and affectionate since that night, always asking if she remembered a certain memory or if she felt uncomfortable when talking about something. It was nice to have him so interested in her recovery but it was a little over-powering. None the less, she had been getting better and had been feeling quite normal.

Sophia loved hearing about Hogwarts and how everyone she knew was going, but she still had the idea that everyone believed that she was indeed dead. Considering Lee Jordan had been so surprised to see her alive, it was only logical to assume that most of the Wizarding world believed that she had died while captured by the Death Eaters. Sophia was now itching to be a normal witch again and attend Hogwarts for her last two years of schooling.

That evening, the Weasleys' and their visitors had finished the grand dinner made by Molly. Remus and Tonks had visited and stayed for the meal, now getting ready to leave for the night. Tonks had mentioned that Remus would be having his transformation so they'd better be off, now standing in the doorway while saying their farewells.

"That's healing nicely," Remus noticed as he motioned to the rather ghastly looking scab that occupied the back of Sophia's left arm.

"Yeah but I keep wanting to pick it all the time," Sophia groaned and ran her finger over the crusty surface of the scab. "I'm gonna have so many scars."

"You already had one," Remus lightly turned Sophia's arm over to reveal the white scar that ran from Sophia's wrist to her elbow. "Might as well add to the collection. Do you remember how you got this one?"

"From third year. When you transformed," Sophia nodded without a doubt and Remus pursed his lips.

"That's right... I still feel awful about it," he confessed.

"Please don't be," she pleaded and stared into her father's sad eyes. They always looked different nowadays. Always so concerned and worried, unlike how she remembered. They used to be so warm and welcoming, especially to her. But he was slowly starting to look at her much like how he used to. It was taking it's time but after watching her memory in the Pensieve, Remus had begun to appreciate the fact that Sophia was alive and well. She was protected and safe. They had the chance to be a family again.

"We better go," Tonks stated to Molly who was trying to convince them to stay for dessert. "Thank you for the food Molly."

"Oh you're very welcome," Molly beamed and Arthur did the same from behind his wife.

"Be good," Remus ruffled Sophia's hair with a small smile and she smiled brightly back. She went to reply with some sort of sarcastic comment when she saw a sudden movement from over the top of her Father's shoulder. She shut her mouth with a puzzled look, black smoke suddenly flying towards the clearing where The Burrow sat in the middle of the field. Remus noticed her expression and looked over his shoulder to see the same thing, only was much more concerned as he knew what it was. Molly, Arthur and Tonks had noticed too and watched as the black smoke suddenly circled around the Burrow and created a ring of fire. The fire reached high into the night sky and lit up the field dangerously.

Sophia watched as the black smoke returned to sit in the view of her and the surrounding adults, a figure emerging from the smoke in a spinning motion. Her stomach dropped to her feet when she recognised the wild, frizzy hair that flowed down into the dark purple and black robes hanging from the figure's body. The crazed look in the eyes of Bellatrix Lestrange was so familiar to Sophia that she took a shaky step back, quivering all over as the woman smiled wickedly to show her black teeth.

Harry had seen red when he had spotted Bellatrix Lestrange standing just outside The Burrow from the window in the living room. He had shot out of his seat and sprinted into the hallway and forcefully pushed through the people that stood dumbstruck.

"Harry no!" Arthur shouted as Molly cupped her mouth with her hands.

The boy sprinted into the clearing and stopped momentarily, glaring viciously at the woman who had taken away the last piece of his family. He knew Remus had followed after him and was running to catch him before he moved any further, but he was too late as Bellatrix turned away to run through the opening that had formed within the ring of fire. Harry ran after her and made it through the opening before it shut behind him, stopping Remus and Arthur who had both tried to follow.

"It's her... it's her," Sophia was whispering to herself as she had solidified herself to the place in the hallway, staring wide-eyed at where both Harry and Bellatrix had disappeared through. The returning fear crept inside of her and had completely taken over mind and body. It was much like when she saw Malfoy in the twins' shop, only this time she couldn't move.

"Everyone get out! Get out into the clearing!" Arthur cried from outside, fighting the fire that was beginning to lick the sides of The Burrow's wood. Him, Remus, Molly and Tonks were using their wands in attempt to control the fire that had a mind of its own. It would flare and spread out towards them as if it had arms ready to burn.

"Sophia! Sophia move!"

She was too transfixed to realise that Ginny, Hermione, Ron and George had run past her and out into the clearing like Arthur had instructed. Fred had stopped behind Sophia in hopes of her moving forward once she knew he was there, but she was as stiff as a board. He had noticed her hasty steps back from where he was sitting in the living room and he also saw the wide-eyed look she had been wearing ever since she had caught sight of Bellatrix. He knew she was in shock but they had to leave before they burned like toast.

"Sophia!" he shouted into her ear and took hold of her shoulders, forcefully pushing her forward. This seemed to knock her out of her trance and she stumbled, glancing back to see Fred frantically pushing her out of the hallway and out on to the porch. Fred kept hold of her shoulders as they finally came in contact with the grass and huddled to where Hermione and Ron stood. Ginny wasn't there, putting both Fred and Sophia into a moment of panic. But the task at hand made them focus on other things as Molly, Arthur, George and Remus continued to fight the ring of fire and attempt to extinguish it with the Water-Making spell.

"Stay here!" Fred instructed as he made Ron take hold of the shaking girl. He brought out his wand and took a place next to his brother, producing the Aguamenti charm

Sophia whipped her head around to see The Burrow had begun to burn and lit up the whole field with its intense light. The night sky wasn't nearly as beautiful as it used to be. It was now corrupted with the idea of the home that was seen as a sanctuary for most being burnt to the very ground. Sophia felt her security burn as the fire around them eventually sunk into the ground, leaving the house to be the last form of light other than the moon. Arthur and Remus had sprinted after Harry and Ginny once the fire was gone, leaving the rest to watch The Burrow get lower and lower to the ground.

The Burrow could easily be fixed with magic but that wasn't the point. Their barrier had been penetrated. One of the safest places in the Wizarding world had been deemed just as vulnerable as anywhere else. Molly felt her soul leave her body, unable to tear her eyes away from her beloved home being destroyed. It would take weeks to replenish the barrier around The Burrow. They were now unsafe from the Dark Lord.

---

"I'm taking her to the flat."

"No Fred, it's still not safe-"

"Neither is here! You saw what happened tonight! The barrier was useless. Just for now, I'm taking her to the flat."

Sophia was sitting in the newly replenished living room while listening in on the not-so-quiet conversation occurring in the kitchen. The Burrow was now much smaller with no added rooms. There was only one floor, just enough for the Weasleys themselves as well as Sophia and Hermione. Tonks and Remus had left swiftly after the fire as it was coming closer and closer to midnight, when Remus would undergo his transformation. Sophia barely had any time to say goodbye as they apparated away.

"I'll pack your things for you then," George quietly stated from next to her. George knew the plans had been made by his older twin so he got up and made his way towards the stairs to head towards his old bedroom.

"George died..." Sophia's voice made him stop while on his pursuit. He was confused and turned back around to see her staring down at her feet, her bottom lip wobbling dangerously.

"What do you mean?"

"George... the Pygmy Puff you got me..." her voice cracked and she sniffled. "I didn't have time to save him."

George realised what she was talking about and his expression softened. She looked thoroughly upset to find that her pet had burned in the fire even though she would have well done the same if she had tried to grab the puff. George walked back over and hugged her tightly, comforting her with the words that he'll get her another one. She sniffled into his shoulder and clutched at his shirt. She was upset about the death of her puff, but she was also using it as a form of excuse to let out all the emotions she had kept inside. Seeing Bellatrix again had ignited the pain and suffering in her, and all she wanted to do was to ball up and cry it all out.

"I'm sure he's up in Pygmy heaven," George softly joked and Sophia mustered the smallest of laughs. "He would have wanted you to get out of the house anyway. He would have never forgiven himself if you got hurt while trying to save him."

"I can't believe she was here... she got through the barrier..." Sophia mumbled and George didn't need to confirm who she was referring to. He bit his lip and didn't answer. It was terrifying to think that he had come seen with his own eyes, the people who had tortured his best friend into near madness. Malfoy was bad enough but when George had caught a glimpse of Bellatrix Lestrange from the living room window, the woman was every bit of terrifying that he had imagined.
