The next step was getting Sophia into the shower. After Fred helped her with eating some more of Molly's soup and drinking a gallon on water, Fred put a charm on her many bandages to repel water. Even though there wasn't much of her that wasn't bandaged up it was worth having a shower to wash off the rest of the dried dirt and blood that sat in every pore. Bill and Charlie said that they should head back to their respectable places as Sophia had been found within The Burrow, saying they'll be back for the next Order meeting. Molly kept herself in the kitchen with the same shakiness she had when she had discovered Sophia wasn't in her bed. She hadn't quite gotten over the feeling of walking into the room and seeing the only person that she was responsible for at that time to be gone completely. Fred and George said they had left Verity and another employee in charge at the shop and that they'd alert them if they really needed them.

"She was really disorientated..." Fred murmured while looking down at the cup of tea in his hands. He and George sat at the table while Molly manually washed the dishes in the sink. She had gotten into this habit ever since she had seen Sophia emerge from the field, feeling quite humbled to continue the usually Muggle way.

"She barely knew who we were," George added as he leaned his cheek against his propped up fist. "Do you think it'll last? The amnesia?"

"Not sure. Maybe Mad-Eye or Kingsley will know. It's gotta be some sort of lasting curse," Fred answered. Molly dried her hands on the hand towel and turned to Fred, displaying a pleading look and burst into what she had been meaning to ask.

"Oh Fred, can I please at least tell Remus she's awake? He wanted to be one of the first ones to know!" she pleaded with troubled eyes. "I feel awful hiding this from him for a even a moment! Please let me-"

"Alright alright," Fred sighed and nodded reluctantly. It felt a little odd to be in charge of his mother for once. It made him feel quite powerful actually. "Only him though. I don't even know if she'll recognise him. It would really break him if she didn't..."

A creak of a floorboard sounded from the doorway of the kitchen making the three whip their heads towards the noise. Sophia stood there in a large t-shirt of Fred's and some cotton shorts with her hands clasped together tightly, shyly and wearingly looking between the boys and Molly. Her bandages were now on full display as they covered most of her right leg and all of her left, arms and fingers wrapped like an Egyptian mummy's would be. Fred stood up from his chair while trying not to look too excited at the sight of her, letting his chair squeak quietly backwards and taking small steps towards her.

"Hey love..." he started and noticed the real severity of her uneven ends of her hair. Her hair was damp from being lightly washed and noticeably lop-sided, the front ends being shorter than the back. There was no doubt that her hair had been cut with a knife and forcefully pulled when doing so, making Fred gulp at the thought of Bellatrix Lestrange or Alecto Carrow forcefully chopping off all of Sophia's once beautiful brunette locks.

"You feel better? Cleaner?" Fred questioned with the corner of his lips hitching up into a kind smile. Sophia didn't answer but only looked him, awkwardly shuffling her weight from foot to foot. She glanced at Molly and George who stared at her with worried looks before settling on George. He noticed this and sat up straight in his chair, biting his lower lip nervously at her shifty eyes.

"Y-You're George... Fred's twin..." her voice was quiet and timid.

"Yeah that's me. You remember Soph?" George couldn't help the small smile that appeared on his face at her recognition. He got up from his chair and walked over to maybe embrace her, but only to have her start to take terrified steps away into the hall.

"No no no just stop for a second," Fred put his arm out to stop his brother from getting any closer, frantically looking at the girl who was now back in the hall and away from the door frame. George's face dropped at how scared Sophia looked of him and the tears that shimmered from her grey eyes made him believe he was some sort of monster. He may look like Fred but he definitely wasn't and Sophia knew that. He wasn't Fred which meant he wasn't safe.

"Sorry..." George quietly stated and took a step back, trying his best to hide his disappointment.

"You remember him Sophia?" Fred asked as he pointed at his brother. "You remember Georgie? The uglier looking twin?"

Fred attempted to joke but it went right over the top of her head. She didn't roll her eyes or snigger like she used to and that made the twins' heart sink simultaneously. Molly had slipped out of the kitchen to send the Patronus to Remus, leaving the boys to stand near the doorway with the shuffling girl. She looked back and forth between them, noticing how similar they really looked. She definitely felt a small flutter in her heart when she looked at the boy who had much more oval eyes, but the sense of unfamiliarity settled in when she looked at the one with the more hooded eyes.

"Y-You have different eyes..." she stammered.

"That's right!" Fred nodded energetically, beaming at her brightly. "You used to say that whenever we tried to confuse you! Do you remember that?"

"Hogwarts... that happened at Hogwarts," Sophia looked like she was painfully raking her brain for some memory. "The Great Hall..."

"That's where we went to school," George nodded along as he forced a much less energetic look than Fred's. He wanted so badly to express how happy he was to see one of his best friends again but didn't want to scare her.

Sophia went quiet again but continued to look as if she was thinking. Her lips parted at one point as if to say something but stopped herself suddenly. She went back into the position that kept her arms close to her chest and looked down at the floor that sat between the door frame and the hallway she stood in. The twins deflated at the obvious posture that meant she wasn't going to say anymore yet were happy that they had gotten somewhere with her. She remembered Hogwarts and she hadn't burst into tears from seeing anyone that wasn't Fred. That was some improvement.

George caught sight of someone emerging from the field outside the window that sat above the sink. He saw Molly quickly approach Remus with a frantic and brief explanation, resulting in the man suddenly running around her and towards the front door.

"Freddie," he motioned his head towards the window and Fred immediately knew. He swallowed with a sinking feeling in his stomach at what was to come and turned back to Sophia.

"Let's go sit down love. You're probably tired," he suggested and was able to hold his hand out in front of her for her to take. She looked down at it suspiciously and seemed to be thinking about it for a moment. Fred was overjoyed when she slipped her small, bandaged hand into his and let him lead her slowly into the living room. George followed after the two with a respectable space between him and Sophia, taking a seat in the furthest armchair from the sofa. Fred had only just gotten her to sit down when the front door flew open and Remus appeared with wide eyes and messy hair.

"Oh my word..." Remus whispered to himself as he immediately spotted the girl, not even realising the fact that she had jumped dramatically at the sound of the door being thrown open. He excitedly started to march towards her with a look of astonishment and happiness, only to have Fred stand in his way and hold a hand out to stop him.

"Not so brisk Lupin, you'll scare her-"

"Get out of my way Fred!" Remus snapped and for the first time ever, glared at the Weasley with such ferocity. "Let me see her! She's my daughter!"

The man had had his transformation only the night before which meant he was exhausted and slightly riled up. With the confirmation that his daughter had been found and woken up on top of that, he had put himself in a state of excitement, anxiousness and determination. But the fact that someone had dared to stop him from seeing her was something he wasn't expecting and something he definitely didn't like.

"You will see her! But you just need to calm down first and be-"

"Don't tell me what to do!" Remus shouted and had even brought out his wand, pointing it at Fred's chest with all the intention to curse him with whatever he thought of. "I haven't seen in her in months! Let alone know where she's been! Don't think that just because you're her boyfriend that you come first you swine!"

"Remus!" Molly had cried out of shock and slight anger, her motherly instincts not liking that her son was having a wand threateningly pointed at him. Fred found himself glaring at the man and was ready to pull out his own wand, only to have another voice cut in from nearby.

"Can you guys shut up?! You're acting like children!" George jumped up from his seat in anger, making the three turn to him. "Look at how scared she is! Grow up will you?!"

George had been the only one to notice how much Sophia had shrunk back into the crevice of cushion and the arm of the sofa, staring with wide eyes at the man who had just burst into the room and stormed towards her. Her breathing was rugged and heavy, her chest heaving up and down in panic and pure fear. Fred's once hard face softened at the sight and turned back to look at Remus, who was now confused instead of angry and displayed disappointment to not have his daughter jumping up in excitement at the sight of him.

"See why you can't just storm up to her?" Fred quietly discussed as Remus's dark eyes met his again in a calmer manner. "She's scared. She barely knows who any of us are."

"W-Why?" Remus questioned with shifting eyes. "Why doesn't she recognise me?"

"We don't know yet," Fred shook his head and slowly lowered himself into the space next to Sophia. She immediately latched on to him once he sat down, burying her face into the side of neck with her hands clutching at his jacket. She hid away from Remus who swayed slightly at the returning exhaustion as the adrenaline had worn off. He let himself fall in the spot next to Fred and leaned forward to peer at the girl who took to hiding into Fred's side, terrified to even look at him.

"Sophia... it's me... it's Dad," Remus resulted to forcing down his urge to jump forward and embrace her, much like George had before. He pleaded and felt hopeful when she peaked out from Fred's shoulder, meeting eyes with him for the first time. She didn't say anything but looked at him with glazed over eyes, thinking hard and studying the man's lined and scarred face. There was something about those scars that tweaked something in her memory. The distinctive claw mark began to form an image in her head of an animal and a man she once knew. A man she adored and cared about.

She almost said it but held herself back. She didn't trust him. She only trusted Fred because she knew he was real. Everyone else in the room could be fake. The whole Burrow could be fragment of her imagination and she didn't want to get too involved, as it made the withdrawal much more emotionally painful.

"We need a meeting... the Order need to know," Molly spoke up from near the front door. Her tone was much sterner and authoritative, knowing Fred would attempt to object again. Remus ripped his eyes away from the wary girl to Molly, pursing his lips together before forcing a nod. Fred looked at his Mother with another feeling of reluctance. He thought over it and glanced at Sophia who had been staring up at him from his shoulder. He knew she'd be scared from all the people but it had to be done. Who knew when she would stop being so terrified of everything? The quicker they adapt her to the company of others, the easier it'll be to talk to her and get some answers about what really happened to her.
