In the sea of dreams
I aimlessly swim
Riding the waves of uncertainty
Tides of doubts drown me all around
Yet, I hold onto the strokes of hope.

The carcass of life
Shrouds the ones willing to fight 
Against the ignominy of flight
Nothing can turn the tide
Unless you compel yourself to strive
The ecstasy of determination
Is covered under intense humiliation.

Echoes of the pain
Reflect back to the surface
Rippling along the waves for naught 
Are emotions gone for a toss.
  
What is that I fathom unseen
Guiding me towards another being 
Testing me in reaching my summit 
To attain excellence.
