I just wanted to show everyone a bit of inspiration for this chapter. So I took a really lovely trip and actually wrote this in the rain. Was absolutely beautiful!

And some inspiration for this chapter actually came from these ruins.

And just one more note before I get into this wonderful chapter I GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE ON FRIDAY!! So that is good news for you all as I'll have more time to write!!

A cold rush swam through Adelina's veins as her body jolted. A chill, one she never experienced before, made her teeth chatter and her blood run cold. Brought back to reality, her eyes briskly popped open.

"Thank you Malora. We wouldn't want our guest of honor missing out on any of the festivities to come now would we? Falentines voice rang painfully in Adelina's ears as her cold blood pumped violently throughout her body. She let her eyes graze the room until they landed upon Malora who wouldn't make eye contact with her. Sorry, she mouthed before ambling back into the shadows.

"Time to continue the ritual." Falentine boomed as the crowd broke out into a roaring cheer. The three men turned away from Adelina's frail body and stalked over to Ms. Hernandez who was attempting to push herself backwards and away from the men.

"So much more fun when they try to fight us huh brothers? Really gets the blood pumping and with it being witches blood too," Taavi licked his lips. "That makes it even more wonderful and a tasty treat."

"W-hy" Adelina's voice came out hoarse and weak. "Why are you doing this? Why blood from the four of us specifically? She forced the words out of her mouth. Deep down she really hoped to buy time, but for what, she had no idea.

"I guess we haven't explained that to you yet have we? Maybe we do owe you some details since you'll be staying with us for a long time." Falentine circled away from Ms. Hernandez as Adelina let a sigh of relief escape her lips.

"As you know our father was a very powerful man. Humans were destroying the world with their pollution, racism, politics and much more. We vampires watched from the shadows for centuries until we began to fear the repercussions your decisions would have on us as well. So our father decided ti was time to act. He called forth fellow demons and vampires to fight in the great war against the humans and everything was going well until the Angels and Witches decided to get involved. Such a simple spell that ruined our father too. They knew he was indestructible, but he had his vulnerability and they preyed on it. All it took was a simple spell. And that spell required a drop of the blood of a witch, werewolf, and the two twin angels. Of course, you wouldn't remember that now would you? Seeing as you and your sister were babies at the time. My father was a smart man, but eventually, he trusted the wrong person who made him drink this concoction that put him into a deep slumber."

"But how is our blood going to help you bring him back? Wouldn't he have to drink it?" Adelina's stomach churned with the information but had to keep distracting.

"The three of us are drinking our fill of blood from each of you so that we, the sons, can feed him. He will drink from our blood which will be strong enough for him to awake and for us all to rule without opposition."

"Why, though? Why awaken your father after all this? After all the power you've gained without him and all the things you've done. Why would you want him to take over everything? Aren't you strong enough with him?" Adelina let her eyes drift and lock onto Asmunds eyes. Asmund shifted his eyes avoiding her gaze immediately. "Is there really any point?"

"With our father back nobody will be able to stand in our way. We will get everything we have wanted and dreamed of. We will make this world ours and everyone will bow to us. The world will ours, demons and vampires, to rule as we like." Falentine laughed as the crowd broke out into a deafening cheer. The three stalked back over to where Ms. Hernandez kneeled.

"I'm afraid she won't be as lucky as you were," Taavi said as the three leaned down and grabbed ahold of Ms. Hernandez. Her body trembled as they lifted her body and pressed it against their lips. Muffled screams tore from her lips as they tore at her flesh, blood dripped from the wounds.

"Please, stop please" Adelina fought against her restraints. The muffled screams began to turn into whimpers. "Asmund, please I am begging you." Adelina stared deep into Asmunds eyes trying to make him see the pain he was causing. He looked away as Ms. Hernandez body fell limp. Falentine knocked her body forward as he wiped the blood from his chin with a cloth.

"Always must be prepared for a mess," he snickered.

"Asmund," Adelina pleaded again as they cleaned the rest of the blood from their faces.

"He may love you," Falentine began "But he will never betray his family. He will never betray our Father. He knows that we are the only ones who will truly be there for him through everything." Falentine grabbed hold of Asmund.

"What you have isn't love, it's control. And I'm sorry Asmund but you are too weak to see it."

Falentine was in her face in an instant. "Careful what you say, Adelina. You might end up in the dungeon for the rest of your life," his whisper drifted into her ear and a knot formed in her stomach.

"Now for the next one! This one I am going to enjoy every second." The men stalked over to where Tessa's body rested. Tears sprang from her eyes as they neared and a muffled scream could be heard.

"N-o-o" Adelina's voice caught in her throat. "You can't mean to harm her too?"

"Sweet oh sweet Tessa. The time we have shared together. All those fun times we've had. All the horrible things we've done together." Falentine bent down removing the gag from Tessa's mouth. "My horrible but beautiful fiancé, it will be a shame to not have you warming my bed anymore."

"I thought you loved me." Tessa squealed through the tears. "Please, you can have my blood. I'll give it to you three willingly but please just let me live. We can live our lives together and be happy. Please don't do this to me."

"We had a lot of fun didn't we but you and me will never be happy. I've opened up your true nature Tessa. You'll never be truth worthy to anybody and I can't have someone as evil as me by my side." Falentine turned his head winking in Adelina's direction.

"Please!" Tessa screamed as the three men lifted her arms and neck up to their lips. Her scream echoed through the room as they dug into her flesh and began to devour her.

Adelina felt bile rise up as she leaned to the side. Her vision began to waver in and out.

"Stop! Please"

Falentine dropped her neck a whimper escaping a Tessa as the other two continued to drink. "Why would you care about her? She betrayed you at every chance she got. She killed your beloved Daniel and yet here you are begging us to quit. You're begging for someone who wouldn't have shed a tear had you been in her position. You are weak and pathetic." Faletnine spit.

"I'm not weak. You are the weak ones, after all, you've done to our world. You are so weak you had to fool someone into loving you. At least my love for my sister is real unlike whatever sick relationship you and your brothers have." Adelina roared. "Tessa, I'm so sorry. I am so so sorry." She said as she watched Tessa body begin to slump. "Please don't go. I love you even after what you did you'll always be my sister." Adelina cried.

"I'm s-o sorry to Adelina. Tell Mom and Da—" Tessa's voice stopped as her eyes rolled back. Asmund gently lets go of her arm and laid her backwards as Taavi cleaned himself off.

"I swear I'll make you all pay what you have done. I won't rest until you've suffered as you've made others suffer." A burning rage began to shake through Adelina's veins. Her face became flushed in rage. "I promise you will suffer."

The crowd began to laugh as Falentine and Taavi broke out in a chuckle. Asmund stayed silent but wouldn't let his eyes meet hers.

"How could you do this to me Asmund. You of all people? Why? I did care for you I opened my heart up to you and now you've gone and done everything you could to hurt me. Do you even understand what you've done?"Fury spewed from every word.

"I did what had to be done. I had no choice." Asmunds voice was barely audible.

"There is always a choice Asmund. Always." Adelina looked towards the wall, not able to stand the sight of him anymore. "You make me sick."

"As touching as this is we still have one final sacrifice tonight. Our final sacrifice is another special one. The blood of a werewolf. Our natural enemies. They always wanted to protect the weak little humans when we were ravaging their villages. I believe you became quite close with him while in the dungeons." Falentine removed the hood revealing a bloodied and bruised Aaron. He threw the gag out of his mouth letting him speak freely.

"You bastards will never win. We will find a way to put you and your father on the ground. So go ahead and do what you must with me, but my people will never stop." Aaron spat.

"Are those your final words," Taavi questioned.

"Wait and see,Aarons" Aaron said before tilting his head to the side.

"We've already won but it too bad you won't be able to see our final victory lap. But you'll die knowing we will kill every single werewolf and demolish your entire kind." Falentine growled.

Falentine grabbedAarons'neck, teeth barred as the other two got into position as well. The three dug into Aarons flesh as he remained unmoved and silent.

A loud bang echoed through the hall as the earth shook around Adelina. Another set of rolling bangs sounded and shards of stone began to fall from the ceiling. Glass shattered around them as people screamed and ran. Adelina looked around and saw bodies caught by large stones and glass protruding out of other ones. Some of the guards ran around trying to calm others as another explosion set off sending them flying. Dust swept through the palace as people screamed and coughed.

"We are under attack," A demonic guard came into the room from one of the side doors.

"You think I don't see that you idiot." Falentine roared.

"Take those two and put them somewhere safe. Protect her with your life." Falentine said untying Adelina's wrist as Taavi worked on Aaron. Adelina raised her body up, but her legs bucked underneath her as the ground shook from another explosion. She fought with her strength and made her legs remain still as she pulled herself all the way up. She looked around and noticed the three brothers had been thrown apart. She rushed to Aaron and finished untying the ropes that held his arm together.

"Stay with me Aaron. This is our opportunity to get out of here and escape." Hope filtered out of her voice. Aaron leaned up onto her as he gained his strength to stand on his own.

They both began to walk through the rubble and the people screaming in pain. Adelina dodged a few outstretched hands begging for help. A pang of sympathy shot through her, but she held her composure. Suddenly, a hand was upon her shoulder grasping her backwards into a hard chest.

"You think you can walk away from us that easily? You are ours Adelina and will always belong to me."Falentine whispered into her hair.

"Let he go!" Aaron fought against Falentines grasp on Adelina.

Something deep began to shift inside Adelina and a heat spread through her veins.

"I belong to no one." She said as she shoved him backwards and a sudden light surged from her hands. Falentine went flying backwards, his body crunched as it hit the wall. Adelina stared at her hands in disbelief.

"W-hat was that" She stuttuered.

"I have no clue" Aaron stared in wonder. "But we need to leave now."

They climbed there way through the outdoor and up onto the concrete slabs that was once the wall. As Adelina began to step over the last stone she looked behind her and saw Asmund running towards her. He stopped at one of the holes in the palace and stared into her eyes.

Go, he mouthed. Go.

Adelina looked one last time into his eyes and stepped over the wall and out onto the mountain. The air around them sent chills through her body as the wind blew. Her dress fluttered behind her.

"What now?" Adelina questioned Aaron.

"Don't you see Adelina. Look there." Aaron pointed down the mountain and Adelina's mouth dropped as she saw hundreds of men and wolves in the distance. Some of the wolves had demons under them, finishing off what remaining. "My people...they came for us."
