5. The Dance

Our hands came together
And soon we were dancing.
The night seemed so magical
Pixie dust was in the air.

The silence felt comforting
As our eyes stared into each other.
Unspoken words were spoken
Yet many feelings were left unsaid.

I laid my head on your chest
And listened to your heartbeat.
A sweet melody was playing
But nothing was sweeter than the sound of your heart beating only for me.

I closed my eyes
And lost myself in the moment.
This night
This feeling
Would never come again.

The strings of the violin
Attached us more deeply than ever.
You whispered my name
And I looked up
into your ocean blue eyes,
And cried.
