Arthur Harrow-Comfort
You've been working with Arthur for a few weeks now and have fallen in love with him.
Innuendo and some minor swearing. Also mentions being in a mental health ward.

"Mr. Harrow. It's good to see you looking so well today." Arthur barely glances at you. You sigh. The poor man is broken in spirit. You wish there was something you could say that would help him.
"Arthur." He finally looks at you. He smiles a little and your heart jumps. He's so sweet. Sure the guy sounds like he's off his rocker at times but you know he's been telling you the truth about that Egyptian goddess.
"Yes, Dr. Y/N?"
"How are you feeling today?"
"Lousy." Arthur raises his hand, staring at it like it's the most fascinating thing in the world. You lean over, touching his knee.
He looks into your eyes and you stare at his lips, curious as to what it'd be like to kiss them.
"Tell me more about Ammit, Arthur."
"No." Arthur looks down at the ground. You gently squeeze his knee and his gaze returns to yours.
"Oh, Arthur. I know this isn't right but I've fallen in love with you."
Arthur leans forward, suddenly appearing more alert. Was his dullness only an act?
"I've fallen for you as well, Y/N." You smile, leaning in and gently kissing him.
"I'm going to get you out of here," you say softly. "I know you're not insane. Just..lost."
"You'd help me find Ammit again?" Hope blooms in Arthur's eyes. You nod, reaching for his hand, giving it an affectionate squeeze. Arthur returns the squeeze.
"I'd do anything for you, Arthur Harrow."
"This is the face of a good person," Arthur murmurs. You smile, grasping one of Arthur's hands. He smiles, too, his eyes growing brighter and losing the dull, uninterested look. You're convinced now that Arthur was only acting.
"I'll get you out, tonight," you whisper to Arthur, who's clinging to your hand like it's a lifeline and he's afraid to let go.
"When?"
"Around nine. I'll have a car waiting downstairs for you."
"Won't you be in trouble?" You shake your head, smiling. You are in charge here, after all.
"No. I'll be fine, Arthur. Don't worry about me."
"I'll always worry about you, Y/N. Because I love you."
You move to stand, giving Arthur's hand one more reassuring squeeze before turning to leave the room.
"I know."

It's almost nine o'clock. The driver has arrived to help escort Arthur downstairs to the waiting vehicle. You'd specifically requested that they take him to your house.
"Arthur?" He looks up as you approach him. He looks dull and tired. You kneel down in front of him, aching to go along with him. Unfortunately you'll have to wait until your shift is over, which isn't for another half an hour.
"My friend, Alan, will escort you to my place. I'll be there in no more than forty minutes or so. All right?"
Arthur nods, the weariness etched into his face. You raise yourself up, gently kissing him. He cups your cheek, smiling.
"Please don't be long, Y/N. I need you."
"I won't be." You stand, motioning for Alan to take Arthur downstairs to the waiting car. You clutch tightly at your shirt. Hopefully everything goes according to plan.

"Alan? Arthur?" You rush into the house, where you see Arthur reclining on the couch, wearing some decent clothes and eating some soup. You sigh in relief, rushing to him, practically throwing yourself into his outstretched arms.
"Thank you, Alan." Alan nods, excusing himself as he exits the house. You cling to Arthur, burrowing against his side, as he caresses your cheek, looking far more alert than you've ever seen him.
"Oh, Arthur. I'm so pleased you're all right."
"Thanks to you, my lovely." Arthur kisses you.
"Now," you say, as you begin to stroke his damp hair. He must have taken a shower. "Tell me more about Ammit."
Arthur grins widely. You feel a shiver go through you. This is going to be thrilling.
"What would you like to know?"
"Everything," you say.
"You might decide to change your mind if I do that." You shake your head. Absolutely not.
"I won't. I'm going to help you, Arthur Harrow. Do you know why?"
"Why?"
"Because," you say softly, touching Arthur's lips. "You give me so much comfort."
Arthur places a tender kiss on your forehead.
"No," he murmurs. "You give me comfort, Y/N."
