"stay away from him," jolene hisses at me. "he's bad news. i heard he killed a guy because he looked at him the wrong way."

i chuckle. "you're being serious?" she nods. "they're rumors! it's not true otherwise he'd be in jail, stupid," i muttered the last part so she couldn't hear.

we were speaking about the new boy: ethan dolan. he was hot and had a reputation for being a bad boy. he was only here at north chester high for no longer than a week and he had a million rumors about him. it was impressive what the student body could do in almost a full week.

"i think im gonna go talk to him." it wasn't a bad idea at all. he was new, he just needed friends.

as I began to walk away jolene drags me back by the arm. "are you crazy!?"

"yeah," i nod.

"fine," she lets go. "don't say I didn't warn you." she huffs and slams her locker. I roll my eyes and walk towards ethan.

"hi, you must be ethan," i smile politely.

"i am," he looks me up and down. his eyes linger on my chest more than it should but I shrug it off. his purple streak of hair comes tumbling down on his forehead and he shoves it away. "and you are?" his hazel green eyes pierce into mine.

"im y/n, or you can call me your girlfriend," i smirk.

"woah," he laughs. "seriously?"

"of course not. i was only joking," i laugh. even though I was only half joking.

"right," he nods. "well y/n, i have to go do some bad boy stuff. i'll see you when i see you," he tips my chin up and gives me a wink that leaves me breathless. he walks away and my heart has trouble beating.

i knew i was going to fall for the bad boy.
