Sonu's POV

It's evening now. I'm sitting on an empty roadside, near rail lines. There is blank field and bushes everywhere. I don't know which place is this........ just wondered where my eyes go... and reached here.

Peaceful enough... ideal place for sigh or cry, nobody is watching.

You wanna know why I am here ? Of course I'll say. Before that I want to say sorry to the universe.

Under this eternal starlit sky I wanna beg for pardon and take my curse back.

At noon I cursed someone for their death. I'm not this kinda person who can curse anyone but I did it. In deep sorrow or emotion....... I did it.

And why I'm here ? I was in a heavenly place na ? With an angelic person ? 

Only for that person....... for my reverence towards that person I took my curse back.

Actually the girl visited our house at morning was Mahendra sir's girlfriend.

What are you thinking ? For this reason....? No guys, I'm not such cheap. Please bear with me till end.

When I understood she's Mahendra sir's gf I was a little hurted (donno why) but I welcomed her and called her 'didi'

But she became very sentimental on this. She said;

'A simple employee of Mahi calling me didi!! You wanna be close to us bustard ? And why this Mahi is such merciful that his lame employees climb on his shoulder like relatives!! Hey you Suresh or what... call me madam only. Understand ?'

'Yes madam'

I didn't try to convince her that 'didi' isn't a disrespectful call, but more respectful and greater address than madam.

I cooked for both of them. Mahendra sir helps me another day but today he was spending time with Priyanka madam. At lunch time I called them in table and hear madam is saying from bedroom;

'Tell your servant to serve here'

'Not servant priyu, he's my employee'

'What's the difference ?'

'Ofcourse different'

'Stop the shit discussion naa... I'm hungry Mahi'

'Ok... (loudly) umm Sonu, please serve the food in bedroom'

Quickly I served their food when Madam started another topic.

'What! Sonu ? His name is Suresh right ?'

'His nickname is Sonu'

'Why you're calling him Sonu ?'

'Arey Priyu I call my every employees with their nickname'

'But the name Sonu is too much cute... I mean it's not sounding good that you're calling someone in a cute name and the person is not me... No Mahi, I don't like this. Call him Suresh'

I said nothing, not stood there for a single second then. I heard Mahendra sir saying;

'Take your lunch Sonu don't late......:

'Again Sonu!!!!! MAHI I DON'T LIKE THIS!!!!'

I didn't eat anything. Just continued to think why this madam behaving like this ? Neither I disrespected her nor ever harmed her. Even she wasn't known to me before some hours. It seems like she's irritated with my presence in the house.

Poor people like me couldn't get a little respect anywhere!!

When they were done I picked their plates for washing. That time Mahendra sir told me;

'Um Sonu... sorry Suresh... can you please water the saplings in the rooftop and my wet clothes are also there... please...'

'Ok sir I'm going'

I moved forward for rooftop stairs and heard something from back in female voice.

'Nuisance!!'

I wished to turn back and say what is your problem with me ? But I didn't.

I did my work and came downstairs. But I couldn't understand that Mahendra sir sent me on rooftop for enjoying privacy and this was the biggest mistake by me.

I came with dry clothes which were spread on rooftop for drying and for placing then in wardrobe I entered the bedroom. I saw...

I didn't expect the scene...

Mahendra sir and Priyanka mam were kissing each other sitting on the bed...

I should rush away from the room that time but my legs like buried in the ground... I couldn't move... I couldn't sack the sight of Mahendra sir is kissing... whomever... I lost myself in that scene. But.......

An unwanted cough occurred in my neck and the kissing duo's charming moment torn aparted.

Priyanka madam thundered her eyes on me harshly stood up from the bed. Then came towards me... so close... clearly I heard the gnashing sound.

She ***Slapped me....

'Priyanka!!!!'

'Shut up Mahi!! How dare your servant to enter in bedroom without knocking ?'

Priyanka Madam shouted so badly. I put down my head and tears dropped from my eyes.

'Heyy nonsense!! You don't know fromalities ? Uncultured brat!! Haven't you the commonsense to knock the door ?!'

'I'm sorry madam but you too atleast should close the door na ?' I said.

And ***Slap again....

'Shameless!! Arguing with me!!! Got golden opportunity to stay and eat in a VIP apartment for free thus flying in air naa ???

Why did you allow this kinda scoundrels inside house Mahi ?

And you fucker... I know betterly people like you. You opportunity seeker... comes from beggers' and staying under some good hearted vips thinks themselves their family member !!!

Mahi stop showing kindness towards this kinda people or I can't stay with you...

And you do takiye boy... why still standing like a joker ? GET LOST NOW!!!'

And I rushed from the house in a single outfit. Swear not to go back there and cursing the madam to DIE.

I didn't cursed her for self respect, she insulted my class even my parents also. I could apologize her touching her feet for my mistake but  do I deserve this kinda treatment... tell me ?

I started to wandering in the main road, I didn't know where I'm going. I continued to walk for a long time........ one time I reached in alleyways and then in grassy field.

My legs were paining for a long walk... I started walking at noon and now its evening. I was sweating, sat on the field being devastated.

I sweared that I won't go back in his house... but where will I live now ?

Yuvi bhai is married and lives with his family. Chiku also belongs from poor household and lives in a small house with parents and sister. And I haven't enough money to rent a room. Then ????

LIVE IN FOOTPATHS!!!  I said myself.

Suddenly I heard some call. Someone loudly calling my nickname from far behind.

'Sonuuuuu.....'

The voice is known to me.
