Sonu's POV 

One month passed. Everything is going well. Yuvi bhai and Dinesh sir helps me a lot. Chiku bothers me but I enjoy it. From that day Mahendra sir calls me Sonu and behaves normally. But I still call him sir and he didn't obliged about it.

One day at evening, we all employees were about to complete work, Yuvi bhai called all of us in his cabin.

'I'm too much ashamed to inform you that our business isn't going well in this month. Profit is almost a big zero. This is not our fault but the market is down. So its too difficult to pay all of your salaries now. But I promise, I'll manage it as soon as possible. And if any of you have any problem or need immediate money please tell me without hesitation'

Yuvi bhai himself felt guilt to inform us that. I have also noticed he and Mahendra sir are tensed from some days.

'No problem bhai... and why you telling like that ? We're your brothers naa ? We'll face the time together'  I said.

'Yes bhai, koi baat nhi. Aap bhi tension mat lo, everything will be ok'  Chiku said.

Everyone agreed that they have no immediate need of money, If have they will inform.

I said no problem because I paid my pg bill in advance, i.e. before coming in the house. My mom paid that from her savings and told me to pay from next month when I'll get salary.

I thought I'll pay next bill at the end of the month so it will not be problematic. But there was something else written in my luck.

As soon as I returned from office, the pg owner aunty jumped from her verandah. Seems like she was ready for me.

'Ayee chhokre!! Tomorrow is first of the month, remember naa ?'

'But anuty, I've already paid current month's bill in advance so next month's bill will be paid at last of the month, this is the rule na ?'

'Shut up son of a..... Who are you to teach me the rule ? My pg runs on my rules'

I become dumbfounded. She continued to shout;

'You have to pay all months' bill in advance, on the first day of the very month haramjaade!!'

'Why are you abusing me aunty, say politely whatever you want'

I don't like ill-mannared gothic people like this aunty, special this kind of language I can't digest, even without any reason. But I forgot that its nonsensical to teach civilization to the uncivilized. Aunty became fire in my last sentence.

'Son of a begger!! Staying in my house, eating my food also teaching me lessons!! Bitch'

'Sorry aunty, I'm not begger, and I'm not staying in your house or eating your food in free. If you call your paying guests begger then why give rooms in rent those beggers ?'

'SHUT UP BITCH!!! Get lost now from my house or I will kick your mouth now!!'  She shouted like Barbarian.

11:30 pm at night. I'm lying on bed in the pg room. Aunty screamed on me for complete one hour fifteen minutes. Didn't give my dinner tonight and assured me if I couldn't pay the bill within tomorrow, I will taste her shoe and have to find another shelter.

What can I do now ? I can't get salary within tomorrow, can't say to Yuvi bhai too. He is already in trouble. If I say him he will surely help me but I can I be so shameless ?

Before one week my mom called me and told that she needs immediate money for medical treatment. I hadn't enough money so I asked Yuvi bhai. He gave me tem thousand and said he will give more if needed. Even he won't take the refund.

Now again, for another personal issue, how can I beg him ?

Should I borrow money ? But I'm new in this city, nobody knows me, why one would lend me ? Or how will I repay ? My salary is not much, I have to send it to my home.

Even I couldn't get a new pg room within tomorrow. Whom should I approach ?

Should I tell Mahi sir...? Ops! Mahendra sir... no no... he is not my dear like Yuvi bhai... and he's also facing the business problems naa...

Next day I was getting ready for office. I remember, if I have to pay advance bill today or have to pack everything from here.

Suddenly aunty came and stood in front of my door, keeping her hands on her waist, staring me with the venom eyes.

'See bitch's son, if you're gonna change this pg today, still you have to pay a certain amount for today... as you're still in here at the first day of the month'

I didn't found anything to say. People says ladies are the incarnation of goddess, they are mothers... but this lady!! How cruel and money seeker she is!!

May god not put even my enemies in this kinda lady's hands!

I cannot focus on my work. Tension of aunty continuously hitting my head. I'm also hungry from yesterday also. My headache started again.

'Hayeee meri Sonuuuu...'

'Please Chiku... forgive me for today... I'm messed'

'What happened bhai ? Family problem ?'

'No, everything is ok in family in god's mercy'

'So ? Tell me brother, I'll fix everything'

'huhhh'  I smirked. You don't know my problem Chiku babu, the dangerous aunty can torn you apart.

This time Mahendra sir's car entered in the lawn. 

'See Sonu, your solution is coming' Chiku smirked and ran like a monkey towards his car

'Mahi bhai Mahi bhai Mahi bhai... Sonu has some......'

'For God sake Chiku don't tell him...' I pleaded him, when he didn't stop, I abused him in my mind soooooo badly.

Mahendra sir entered the office room. Chiku already told about my tension. He slowly walked and came in front of my desk.

My head was down but I can feel his eyes are on me.

Oh my God!! What is the long-hairy man seeing in me ?

'Look here Sonu'  he called in very soft but deep voice.

Take me god!!! What is in his deep voice ? Why I melt always hearing him ??

I raised my face, saw those deep eyes, pinned on me.

'Come with me'

'Where sir ?'

'Near somewhere... I have some important discussion about business'

He started to walk again to outside without waiting for my response.

What could I do ? Followed him like an obedient employee.

He made me sit in his car and drive till a renowned restaurant. I asked him nothing in the car. I followed him to a table and he ordered two plates of biryani.

'No no sir I won't eat'  first time I talk in a while.

'Sonu you're hungry and don't try to tell a lie'

'S...siirrr how do you...kn..'

'By seeing your face'

Words left my tongue. Eyelids forgot to blink. My mom told me that she can understand when I'm hungry by seeing my face because she loves me...

'Sit now'

Ohh... I forgot to sit also. I sat putting down my head.

'I know my face is mess but please look at me now Sonu'

'No sir you're so handsome...'  I bit my tongue for suddenly telling this. Ohfff!! Why this man said his face is mess ?

'Then it's fine... now tell me, am I such bad that you can't tell me about your problems ?'

'No sir you're so good human being...'

'No need of oiling. Just say what happened ?'

'Its so much embarassing sir'  again I put down my head.

'Nobody is here except me and you'

'Not for that sir... actually its related to money'

'Whatever, why you're hesitating ? And tell me in details... Sonu please'

Our ordered food came. He made me eat first. While eating I tell him everything from beginning. Mom, aunty, pg, yuvi bhai, salary everything. His deep eyes and personality made me believe on him.

He coolly heard everything.

'See... I can pay your pg bills now but staying in such a bad lady's house is not so healthy for you. And most of the pg owners behave like this, in this city pg bills are much enough. So find a new pg still not a perfect solution'

I nodded my head.

'I've a better solution'

'What sir ?'

'Live in my apartment. Your living bills will be saved'

'Aaannnm... but sir as far as I know there is only one bedroom in your apartment... umm I mean... heard from Yu... Yuvi bhai'

'So ? With both are boys...'

'Yeah but...'

'There is king size bed in my room, large hall and kitchen, a pleasant balcony, ... a cook comes to make foods everyday except Sundays. AC, fridge everything...'

'Arey arey sir I know you're VIP... ahh I mean..umm... I didn't mean that... ohh God!! Sir you're my boss and I'm just an employee... why you will share room with me...'

Mahendra sir stared at me for a few seconds. Then harshly stood up and moved for going.

'Arey sir what happened... sir stop please... I'm sorry sirrrr...'

I ran to him and held his wrist to stop him... and... he stopped. Again hit me with his deep eyes...

'Sorry sir' I whispered.

'I didn't ever consider you as just an employee Sonu'  he also said in a low voice.

'Sorry sir. I'll stay with you'  I was still holding his wrist.

Mahendra sir came in my pg with me. Aunty was standing in the yeard. Mahendra sir took out a bundle of money from his pant's pocket and threw it on aunty's face.

Till then I started to pack my clothes and essential things.

I heard aunty chukling and saying;

'Caught a wealthy boy... Whore! iykyk...'

My ears got warm. What does she mean!!

GO TO HELL BITCH - I cursed her in my mind and went away forever from there with Mahendra sir.
