Urvi- He is a Kaunteya, Duryodhan. Karna is the Jyesta Kaunteya. He's not a SUTAPUTRA. He's SURYĀPUTRA. He is the "Mantra-prasad" of Lord Suryā Narayan...  Like it or not but he's your brother. This is the truth. The only truth.

Urvi told them the whole truth of Karna's birth on how Kunti maa get divine blessings from Rishi Durvasa to evoke a God and be blessed by a divine child and keep her chastity. And how she has to abandon her first child because of her unmarried status.

Duryodhan couldn't believe it. Karna is a Kaunteya. He's the eldest brother of the Pandavas whom he always hated. He's the son of the woman whom he has always disrespected.

He was shaken inside out and was stupefied in his place.

Seeing the shocked expression on Duryodhan's face, Urvi felt disheartened.

Urvi- Say something, Duryodhan!!!

But Duryodhan has become unreachable. He became totally numb.

Urvi- if you too have any problem knowing that Karna is a Kaunteya, then tell me now. Please don't hate him. I will take him with me far away from here. You don't worry, Duryodhan. No one will really know he's the Jyesta Kaunteya or related to any of you.

Duryodhan was still shocked.
Reminiscence of Karna with him started playing on his mind one by one.

The day of the tournament in which Karna stood with Duryodhan against the Pandavas. The day in which Karna was pledged as Angaraj.

Karna and Duryodhan taking the blood vow of eternal friendship.

Both of them leaving to Anga and talking freely about love and relationships, away from the hassles of Kingdom and Kingship. They talked about their lives and feelings to each other and the bond of the friendship strengthened between them.

Karna helping him to win the hand of Bhanumati on her Swayamvar. Duryodhan couldn't forget the moment when Karna took an arrow on his chest for him.

He couldn't forget his unconditional love and friendship.

Duryodhan remembered that Karna was always worried about him. And even he safeguarded the feelings of Bhanumati after her abduction. Karna has been always with him, be it right or wrong.

He recalled the cordial friendship among the trio of them,Bhanumati, Karna and him. How they teased and laughed at each other while playing chausar.

Karna was there when Duryodhan try to put himself on fire after the defeat in Panchal and knowing that Yudhisthira is decided as the crown prince. He was always there for him.

In fact when Duryodhan asked for Karna's help to fight against Yudhisthira for the sake of the crest and title, he was there with him. Rock solid support.

Even when he said to Karna to renounce his Dharma for Duryodhan, he did. And even stood with him when he decided to surrender before Yudhisthira. Karna always tried to enlighten Duryodhan towards the ways of Dharma, but he was always stubborn and intractable.

Karna always tried to show him difference between Righteousness and Unrighteousness. Yet he still was there with him.

He remembered all moments spent with him in each other company, be it Duryodhan's wedding or Karna's wedding announcement. They four have become a Happy family, living together.

And now it all seemed like some sweet dreams.

Urvi and Bhanu saw Duryodhan zoned out. His face looked ashen and white. They shook him but he unconsciously jerked them and shouted.

Duryodhan- No!!!

When they approached him, he again gave a painful and agonized shout.

Duryodhan- No!!! You can't!!!

Both of them got concerned for him.

Urvi- Duryodhan, please calm down!!!

Duryodhan held Urvi's arms.

Duryodhan- You... You can't take him away from me!!! He's my brother!!! Oh my god! My Mitra is my brother!!! Karna is my brother!!!

He took Bhanumati's arms then.

Duryodhan- You heard it Priye! I have a brother!!! Karna is my brother!

He was chanting again and again as if ascertaining the fact that Karna is his brother. Happy tears came to his eyes.

Duryodhan- I have a brother.

Bhanu was shocked to see tears in his eyes. She did not want to point out the obvious that he has 99+5 brothers, but to see the unadulterated and pure joy and happiness in his eyes, her eyes filled too. A watery chuckle came from her.

Bhanu- Yes! Karna is your brother! And now he became my brother-in-law!!!

Urvi eyes filled too. She thought that Duryodhan would take this matter oppositely. She assumed that he wouldn't be able to digest the truth. He wouldn't ever accept the fact.

As she presumed him to be the reason of Mahābhārat, but this time, they haven't reached that point in which the great war would start. Why did she has to think the worst about Duryodhan, when Shri Krishna has already advised her to make opinions about the people she meet after knowing them personally.

She always thought what would happen if Duryodhan got to know the truth and the tables are turned. She was hell-scared that the truth has been slipped by her unconsciously and insensibly. But Duryodhan is so happy knowing that Karna is his brother.

She has no voluntary control over her thoughts and feelings. They are flowing in their own accord as if controlled by some greater force by the divine guidance.

Thank you God!!! Thank you my Govind!!! This is all happening because of You, I know, thought Urvi. You will make everything alright this time, she prayed.

Urvi- You have no problem knowing that Karna is your brother???

Duryodhan- Hell, No!!! I have a brother who loves me unconditionally like the Pandavas loves each other, why would I have a problem??? Karna is MY BROTHER and no one can change the fact.

Urvi(crying)- Thank you so much, Duryodhan. You have no idea how much I dreaded it?

She hugged him. Bhanu hugged both of them. 

Bhanu- No more tears now!!! I'm pregnant and you two are crying!!!

They all chuckled.

When the group hug ended, Bhanu amazed.

Bhanu- We really are family.

Duryodhan- Yes. (Urgently) I won't let anyone seize the rights of my brother. He should be made the King of Hastinapur.

Urvi- Now is not the time to think about it, Duryodhan. Please promise me, you won't tell Karna about his identity.

Duryodhan- What! Are you mad??? Why???

Urvi- Why!!! Countless times we have come to the palace and countless times Karna met Kunti maa who didn't acknowledge him as her son. What will we give him??? Duryodhan felt ashamed of himself. How many times he insulted Kunti Kaakishree. The mother of his brother. He really felt mortified of his behaviour towards her. He also felt shameful for his contemptuous way with the Pandavas of their origin, when his brother is borne in the same way.

He has done the unpardonable sin, thought Duryodhan.

Urvi(gravely)- I have already talked to her.

Duryodhan and Bhanumati astonishingly looked at her.

Bhanu- What did she say???

Urvi- Nothing. She has yet to decide.

Duryodhan- What's her problem??? Why can't she acknowledge him as her son???

Urvi- Give her some time, Duryodhan. I'm really hoping that she would reveal the secret by herself, because in that way, there would be no fight against brothers and Karna would be acknowledged as Jyesta Kaunteya.

Duryodhan understood Urvi's predicament on why they shouldn't reveal the secret now. If Karna knows about his mother who abandoned him and after meeting with him didn't profess his identity, he would be shattered.

Duryodhan has the firsthand experience on how it felt to be like aborted. He could feel for his brother.

Duryodhan- Alright. We will give some time to her to concede and reveal the truth of Bhrata Karna. But if she didn't expose it, then we will talk to her again.

They nodded.

Urvi- You have to stick to calling Karna as your Mitra.

Duryodhan- I don't like this helplessness!!! But I have to do it for him.

Bhanu- What should we do now???

Urvi- Okay listen, we'll go to Anga today. You and Duryodhan shall accompany us. Duryodhan, you can't have any enmity with the Pandavas now because ultimately it's going to hurt Karna.
