Bhanumati and Urvi heard a commotion in the great hall downstairs and rushed on the balcony to see what's happening down.

hey saw Duryodhan coming with Karna & his brothers, holding his majestic mace on his hand.

Bhanumati saw it and her right hand automatically put on her mouth. Oh no! She thought.

Urvi hold her other hand, supporting her and there for her.

Karna was also there, she saw, but didn't like the expression on his face.
They all come to Yudhisthira.
Duryodhan has an indiscernible expression on his face.

The other Pandavas come behind Yudhisthira for his aid as if thinking that Duryodhan is going to attack on them.

But what Duryodhan did stunned all of them. Including Bhanumati and Urvi. He surrendered his weapon before Yudhisthira.

*Flashback*
Karna- What now, Mitra???
Duryodhan deliberating for a while.
Duryodhan- If I have to surrender, for the sake of my wife, I'll do it.
Karna just nodded. He never liked playing behind anyone's back, but he saw the genuine concern on Duryodhan's eyes and he concurred.
*Flashback ends*

Duryodhan- The tree doesn't feel insulted bowed by the wind. I am surrendering my weapon with my brothers and accepting you as the crown prince of Hastinapur, Bhrata Yudhisthira.

Yudhisthira always wanted to be in peace with Kauravas. He accepted Duryodhan's  obeisance.

Bhanumati eyes watered. She had gone pale when she saw her Arya with his weapon.

Bhanumati- Urvi.. 

Bhanumati wasn't feeling well. She rushed to the nearest potted plant and vomited.

Urvi rushed to her. And hold Bhanumati's hair from her face.

When Bhanumati finished, Urvi help her walk to an open balcony on Bhanumati's bedchamber. Urvi saw a water tumbler and took a glass of water and made her(bhanumati) drink, and sprinkle some droplets on her face.

A cold breeze of air fell on her face, and Bhanumati sighed relief.

Urvi(concerned)- Bhanumati, are you well???

Bhanumati started crying and sobbing, not in loudly kind of way but silently. Her shoulders shook.
Urvi didn't ask anything, just sit beside her and hugged her.

Bhanumati (crying)- I'm trying very hard, Urvi. I'm really trying very hard. It's so difficult to live in constant fear that any disaster would happen and my Arya would be the reason for it.

Her words were jumbled, but Urvi understand her each and every word.

Bhanumati was a daughter of a king, daughter-in-law of a king and wife of a prince, but all this royal relations haven't given her the security and protection of happiness, thought Urvi.

Here she is crying like a baby, and doing everything, whatever she can do, to ensure her happiness but fear of failing had crumbled her spirit.

Urvi atleast know what's going to happen and wanted to change everything, but this poor woman didn't know. This Dvāpara yuga is such a disastrous yuga.

Urvi(softly caressing her hair)- Hush, Bhanu... Nothing happened. Why are you crying... You'll make yourself ill. Prince Duryodhan didn't do anything. He's a good man, just make him see the lightness of life. And everything would be good. Don't let him entrap himself in intrigue and conspiracy, my dear friend.

Bhanumati (sobbing)- I'm trying.

Urvi- I know, you are.

Oh god! She could understand her helplessness. Urvi was struggling with the same thing, but it hasn't reached upto that instance. Atleast, Karna is righteous to his soul, and she trusts him unconditionally. She has a little idea about Duryodhan. And in all likeliness she had forgotten that Karna and Duryodhan are not only best friends but first cousins. Karna is the eldest Kaunteya. If they would only know about his identity, then everything would be alright.

Govind, Please help, prayed Urvi.

Bhanumati fainted in Urvi's hold, her head on Urvi's shoulder.

Urvi patted Bhanu's cheeks anxiously.
Urvi- Bhanu, wake up.. please, wake up.

When she didn't, Urvi yelled to the royal guards.

A guard came.

Urvi- Go, fetch prince Duryodhan immediately and Rajvaidya also.

Prince Duryodhan came and he was shocked seeing Bhanumati unconscious.

Duryodhan straightaway lifted Bhanumati on his arms and put her on the bed.

Duryodhan- Priye... Wake up.. what happened Urvi???

Karna also rushed to Duryodhan's bedchamber.

Karna saw all three of them and his his face whitened. Bhanumati had become the sister, he never had. It took him three strides to reach there.

Karna- What happened???

Karna and Duryodhan both looked at Urvi.

Urvi(hesitantly)- Bhanu had made herself sick thinking about that there would be a fight.

Both Karna and Duryodhan shared a look and paled.

Duryodhan hold Bhanumati's hand.

The Rajvaidya arrived.

He checked Bhanumati's nerve and told them what happened.

Half an hour later, Bhanumati got consciousness. She saw Karna at the end of the bed, Her Arya holding her hand and Urvi, who was sitting near her pillow. She sit up on the bed.

Bhanumati- What happened??? Why are you all here. Urviiii, how did I came here???

Urvi- You fainted.

Urvi kissed the top of Bhanu's head and stood beside Karna.

Duryodhan was still there, holding her hand.

Bhanumati- Arya, What happened???

Duryodhan(a little bit nervously)- Priye...

He cupped her cheek with his hand and she instinctly leaned on his head.

Duryodhan- We... We are going to be parents, Priye. You're going to have babies. Twins.

Bhanumati was stunned. And emotional she was, she started crying again. Duryodhan got scared seeing her cry.

Duryodhan (anxiously)- I'm sorry, Priye... I didn't mean to give you baby so soon. It happened... I know its so soon for you, but... I'm sorry.

A watery chuckle came from her.
Bhanumati- I'm crying because I'm happy.

And she hugged Duryodhan tightly, who embraced her in a crushing embrace. He had known for the first time, what's it's like to be scared when he saw her unconscious. His eyes watered too.

Duryodhan- Don't scare me like that again.

And he gave a soft peck on her lips.

Karna and Urvi was standing there holding each other's hand with happy tears in their eyes.

When the hug ended. Bhanumati raised her arms to hug Urvi who hugged her. They both were crying and chuckling at the same time. It was a heartwarming and comic scene at the same time.

Duryodhan and Karna both chuckled.

Bhanumati- It's a good luck to hug a pregnant woman, Karna. Maybe yours and Urvi's marriage would held earlier.

Karna chuckled and Urvi blushed.

He came to her and kissed the top of her head.

Karna- Congratulations, little brat. Everything is going to be alright.
He hugged her.

And all of them were seeing for their brightest future.
