Urvi was having the most difficult stage of her life. With Karna gone, she feels the sunshine had gone from her life also. But the way, they parted last time, she was daydreaming about him again and again.

And coming out of her daydream, she mentally kicked herself saying she had a task on her hands. Time machine. She groaned. Why couldn't this age has everything I want. Last day she was searching for a tungsten filament wire, and the grocers thought that she is some deranged idiot.

She still doesn't know from where to start. So She was spending her whole time on writing formulas and concepts of physics, chemistry, math, biology as she has no reference books. At times, her whole thinking abilities turned to zero. And with no technology, just to feed it in computer and everything is calculated, she is being frustrated.

Her only solace was when she is with boys playing archery. Radha maa had told her that the favourite dish of Karna is Kheer. And now, all science forgotten, now she only wants to make a perfect Kheer for him when he'll come. She had been experimenting with the ingredients for whole six days. And she can say now, that she is a MasterChef (according to her only).

Whenever she needs to go anywhere she took the chariot from Karna's father. Adhirath Baba never say no to her. And it saves time, who want to just walk on earth when her soon to be father-in-law has this great chariot.

Going very far Urvi, she muttered to herself. (Laughed and blushed.) I'm really going crazy.

She was coming back to her cottage in the chariot, and she saw Karna in his normal clothes. (To herself- stop daydreaming). She pinched herself. Still there.

He's here. He's here.

Urvi (to the chariot horses)- Stop horsie, stop. (She tightened the reins). Horsie, horsie, horsie. Stop.

They stopped. She was so happy to see him. He returned back in just one week. She got down from it. And rushed towards him.

He was ecstatic to see her. And the way she was rushing towards him says that his little Archer is feeling the same. And if he doesn't hold her this instance she is going to fall down, literally. He lifted her in his arms. Her legs inches above from the ground and he twirled her around. Both were laughing.

Urvi (putting both her palms on his cheeks)- You're real... You're real.

He gave her a big smooch.

Karna- Ain't I???

Both giggled.

Urvi- How come you came so soon?

Karna(playfully)- Should I go back now, are you saying????

She punched his shoulder.

Karna(mockingly)- Ouch!!!! Who are you??? I have left my sweet little Archer and you have turned into a virago(chandika). Moments ago you were threatening those poor horses. And now ... Look ...  you have put a dent on my shoulder. You're scaring me now.

Urvi- Good... Keep scaring.. and believe me you'd be the happiest man in the world.

Both giggled. Never have they known that meeting after parting is going to be this sweet.

Urvi- Are you going to market???

Karna- No.

Urvi- Then, why you're going in that direction.

Karna smiled sheepishly. He was going to look after her about where she is, when he didn't see her for sometime, he decided that he should just go and do it by himself.

She understood and blushed.

Urvi- Let's just go home.

They walked towards the chariot holding each other hands.

Urvi- let's be seated Angaraj (winking), today I'm going to ride you home.

Karna- You and riding???(Dude, I ride my own car, she thought).  Next time you see Duryodhan and you want to learn mace(gadaa) fighting.

She punched him again.

Karna- What the hell??? Why are punching me again and again???

Urvi- You were gone for seven days. It's your punishment.

She elbowed him on the ribs. But her funny bone(ulnar nerve of elbow, you all know when your elbow suddenly collide with the door) struck his golden armour.

Urvi- Ouch...

And she started rubbing her elbow. He laughed.

Urvi- You are going uncontrollable, dear Angaraj.

And with the riding crop she started chasing him around the chariot.

Karna- Stop. (He was genuinely laughing). Who are you??? And where have been all your life????

Urvi's colour slightly drained. Should I tell him that I am from future, she thought.

Karna(continued)- I have never laughed, giggled, blushed, got beaten(winks) so much in my life. Thank you. (A peck on her lips).

Her mood lightened. Oh yeah!!! I have to make Kheer.

Urvi(cheerfully)- com'on let's go. We need to hurry up.

Karna- Why???

Urvi- Surprise.

They went. When it was dinner time, she with her dishes goes there. Her cottage was mere 30 steps away from his. She had become familiar with the whole family that everyday she takes her dinner there.

Radha maa had already seated them for dinner.

Urvi(teasingly) - Radha maa, not fair, now your son is here, you forgot about your daughter.

Radha ma- Badmaash!!! We were waiting for you.

She laughed.

Urvi- Look what I have made now.

Boys(groaning, in their childish way)- Again!!!! Kheer khila khila k paka daala.

Urvi (mockingly)- Thank you boys.. so much for my surprise. (Pouted).

(All laughed).

But this Kheer is only for Karna. As you all have already tasted my Kheer.

Karna was blushing hard. What is she doing... And how my family had been so bewitched by her charms, he doesn't know, as he was always away from home.

Radha ma served all of them. Little Sudama comes and sits on her lap.
Sudama(stuttering)- Mele liye k.. kya layi???

She opened her basket. Today she has made Burger for them. Yupp Burger!!! When she went to market she saw Chapati sized bun bread, and an Idea struck her mind. She didn't know Karna was coming today. Poor boys, they were eating her experimented Kheer for Six days. So she wanted to surprise them.

All of them had taken so much space in her heart that she's filled with overjoy. Her dish is home made, all healthy; she couldn't feed junk to Karna's boys. And they ate every single crumbs of her dish.

She was making discreet glances at Karna. He was just eating. No reaction. Not even a hint of smile. He has not even looked at her since she come here. Her mouth puffed in anger.

After dinner, when Urvi was taking her leave, Karna decided to escort her.

When they come out of door....

Urvi- My cottage is in walking distance I can go by myself.

Karna- No trouble.

Urvi- I made the Kheer exclusively for you, and you were eating, just like that.

Karna- Exclusively for me??? I thought you made it for your neighbour next door.

He is her nextdoor neighbour. In her anger, she didn't realise that Karna was just baiting her. He was enjoying immensely, her sweet little tantrums. She herself was like a child. Now I have to deal with ten children, he thought and chuckled.

Karna(innocently)- And you forgot to add the sweetness (sugar).

Urvi- I did not!!! I tasted it and wanted it to be perfect for you. It was perfect, you idiot!!!

Karna- no it wasn't perfect.

Taking a swift peck from her lips.

Karna(continued)- now it's perfect.

She laughed. She herself was mocking her anger. She loves him a lot and there is no room for doubts about it.

Urvi(playfully)- So you've got my answer???

Karna(whispered near her lips)- You already know the answer.

A sweet long kiss.

But who knows that all these sweetness is going to be soured.

Unbeknownst to all of them, the dark clouds of misfortune, adversity and cataclysm have started to hover over Hastinapur from which no one can be spared. Maybe not even Karna and Urvi.
