Sasuke's POV

-Twelve hours ealier-

"No." I answered him for the hundredth time.

Kakashi didn't stop bugging me about it though, "Come on, Sasuke! It's just a part of the mission! Besides, it's not like Sakura's gonna know about this." He pursued.

Tsk. Just annoying..

A few minutes ago, my former sensei appeared inside my bedroom and told me that I have to do a mission. And this so called 'mission' is going to be held here in Konoha. All I and my unknown female partner have to do is act like a couple and spy on a waiter at Ichiraku's Ramen Shop later around six.

He said that some sources informed them that the waiter named Kisho, is an illegal scroll dealer, and that his clients disguise themselves as ordinary customers.

And of course, I turned it down.

I'm getting married to Sakura for pete's sake! I love her. And in addition, me doing her father's challenge to test my loyalty to his daughter for his blessings, isn't really a big help. Oh, and the fact that I promised her I wouldn't cheat on her is another thing coming if she 'accidentally' sees us there!

"Sasuke, think about it. The Hokage is going to pay you two each with 10,000 Ryo if you proved Mr. Kisho's illegal business transactions." He tried. Well, tried.

"Hn. No."

He sighed. "Sasuke, what are you worrying about, anyway? It's just an act. You and Mica aren't going to have a true relationship. It woudn't even affect your relationship with Sakura!"

"Tsk. And if ever she sees us?"

"Then I'll be the watch-out so she wouldn't see you."

I stayed silent for a few minutes..

"And where else could you find 10,000 Ryo just for being a spy actor,hm? Wouldn't it be nice to spent that for your upcoming wedding?" Kakashi smiled.

He's nuts.

But, he do has a point there. Our wedding would be planned much easier with that amount of money. And, he did said that he'll be the watch-out and alert me if Sakura's heading our way, so...

It's easy money.

"Hn."

"Good. Meet me and your partner at the Konoha park at 5:00 pm sharp." He said and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

~At the Konoha Park~

I arrived at exactly 4:50 and waited a whole fifteen minutes before Kakashi and my partner came.

He is with a blonde haired female who looks just as the same age as I do. She wore a mid-thigh length blue floral dress and had her hair in a high ponytail.

She smiled at me and swayed her hips while walking closer.

If I were that Dobe or that Dog-boy, I'd surely be wolf-whistling by now.

Hn. But sorry, I'm not.

Kakashi just stood there with a serious face and stated, "Sasuke, this is Mica, your mission partner." Mica winked at me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I just boredly stared. Seriously, how else would you want me to react? I'm practically used to these fangirls.

"So, you must be my partner, Sasuke ne?" She seductively whispered and inched closer. "Hn."

But I do have to admit though, she is attractive..

But bad news for her, I already have a loving soon-to-be wife. "Tsk. Let's just get this over with. Kakashi, you better watch out for Sakura. If Sakura ever sees us and skip to conclusions, you're dead." He lazily answered,

"Hai."

As me and Mica, who now held my hand, walked towards the ramen shop, "Hey Sasuke-kun, where the hell are we going??"

"Tsk. Where else? To Ichiraku."

"But it's just 5:00! The mission starts at 6! Can't we just stroll around the park for a while and.." she then cupped my face.

"Get to know each other?"

One sentence, I hate fangirls.

Of course except for Sakura! She's a different story.

I sighed. What else could I do?

I complied.

"Oh, Sasuke-kun~! Stop being so silent! The camera is about to roll, you know!" Mica said. I ignored her and continued to walk towards the shop.

Let's just get this over with.

"Sasuke-kun!"

I stopped just a few meters from the shop.

She ran next to me and pressed her body against mine as she hugged me. "Are you ready?"

"Hn."

Twitching, I hesitantly held her hand, but instantly she pulled mine away from her hand and put it around her waist. I widen my eyes.

"Now, now Sasu-kun. Don't complain and smile for the camera!"

I, again, sighed.

I forced a fake smile to come out to make our 'relationship' more realistic so Kisho wouldn't suspect us.

"Lights.."

We were only three steps away from the entrance.

"Camera.."

Two steps.

"..Action."

After that she bursted out laughing. I just pasted my fake smile as she did and kept my hand around her slender waist.

"Hahaha! Oh, Sasuke-kun.. you are such a naughty boy!"

And then, I looked around for-

"Ahem!"

I turned my head and saw...

Oh no...

"S-Sakura?!"

F*ck.

She had a stoic face as she walked towards us. She stopped in front of me.. and it's like, her emerld eyes lost their shine when she glared at me.

I froze.

What am I going to do now?!

Damn Kakashi!!

She reached for my other hand and placed a...

This can't be happening..

No, no, no, NO!

She placed her engagement ring...

...she was returning it, m-meaning-

"Dad was right afterall.."

My heart stopped at what she said.

"..You are a waste of time."

And then, she walked passed me like I was just a stranger to her!

It broke my heart.

I screwed up BIGTIME.
