I couldn't register what was happening, why is she sitting on my lap ...... well to be frank I don't mind coz She is the only girl I wanted to have these rights on Me ...... I only belong to her like wise she belongs only to me ......

Sorry as there was no current I fell on you, I ..... she couldn't continue further as I interrupted her

It's okay no problem ...... I replied

We both started searching candles using the source of mobile light, finally we found them & started to lit them ...... how beautiful she is looking in that candle light, I just couldn't take my eyes off her .... I can spend my entire life just staring at Her ......

Neil ...... I heard her taking my name & that is when I came out of My Avni's world

Haan Avni ....... I replied

Where are Tarun & Nisha, did you talk to Tarun ..... I heard her say

Yeah I spoke to him, as it's raining heavily roads are completely blocked, So he told me that they will be staying at some hotel for tonight ..... I replied

Oh okay ...... I heard her say

Avni are you not hungry coz am damn hungry ...... I said

Am also feeling hungry ...... I heard her say

Chalo then we'll make something ...... I said

But it's very dark & it will be very difficult to find the items ...... I heard her say

It's okay we can use the candles & our mobile lights ...... I replied

I know that but we don't have that many candles & even our mobiles will get switch off if we use for so long ..... I heard her say

Yeah you're right, we can do one thing we can make a item which can be done in less time & also which doesn't need many items to make it , what say ...... I replied

Yeah we can do that ...... I heard her say

We both started thinking, suddenly the item strike in my mind .......

Poha ....... we both said in unison

Yeah ...... saying this we both moved inside the kitchen while taking candles with us

Wow even she likes Poha like me ........ there are some similarities between us .... this thought made me smile .....

After sometime she was done preparing poha & we both started eating ....... WOW is the only word that escaped my mouth ...... as we both were hungry we were eating very silently ..... well you can call it as a Candle light dinner ...... hehehe you think am mad right, it's okay I don't mind coz am Mad ..... only for Her .....

After that we both sat on the couch placed at the balcony ...... atleast we can enjoy some fresh air ...... unable to bare the silence I decided to break it ......

Avni you dance so well, I mean like a trained dancer ....... I said

Well am a trained dancer, since childhood I only started dancing & gave many stage performances for which I've won awards as well ....... I heard her say in excited voice

Wow ...... I replied

Even you're a good dancer ..... I heard her say

Thank you .... I replied

Well looks like our dance sir has high expectations on us, am feeling nervous .... I heard her say

Why nervous ....... I asked her

I told you right this is my first couple dance & there is no group, only & me will be dancing on the stage, So am just feeling nervous....... I heard her say

Avni look at me ....... I said while holding her hand & slowly she shifted her gaze towards me

Do you trust me ....... I asked her

Yes ...... I heard her say

The moment she said she trust me I was on cloud nine ...... coming out of the thought I replied

Then everything will be fine, don't take too much stress ..... & am there with you right ......

Yeah ...... I heard her say

One more thing as we've less time, we need to practice a lot. As we are staying in same apartments we can practice here as well, what say ..... I said while looking at her

Okay then let's start our practice from tomorrow morning ...... I heard her say

Done ...... I replied

Trust me her milky white skin was glowing in moon light, she was looking so gorgeous ..... only I know how am controlling myself infront of her ...... Well for that I've to get an award.....

I saw her eyes closing in between, that is when I realised that she is feeling sleepy ..... well I can continue staring at her but now my priority is her .....

Avni get up sleep inside ..... I said while getting up

No am fine here ..... she said while yawing

Oh gosh how cute she is looking ...... I just want to pull her cheeks & kiss her ..... Neil please control yourself .... I heard my mind say ..... coming out of my trance I started to talk ......

See Avni you cannot be here for whole night you will catch cold, So sleep inside ...... I said while forwarding my hand towards her

No I won't come ...... I heard her say

Gosh how stubborn she is ..... but it's okay she is my girl & I can bare this stubbornness for my lifetime ..... 

Avni if you don't get up then I'll lift you in my arms & take you inside ..... I warned her

You cannot lift me ....... she said while giggling

Well I'll show you then ...... saying this I lifted her in my arms while she placed her hands around my neck & was looking into my eyes

I started walking inside that is when I heard her say ......

Neil put me down, you cannot do like this ..... she said while trying to get down from my arms

No ..... saying this I tightened my grip around her waist

She struggled a lot but after that she gave up ...... I gently placed her on bed, wishing her good night I turned to leave ...... that is when I felt a grip around my wrist .... turning to her side I saw her holding my hand .....

Where are you going ....... I heard her say

I'll sleep in hall ..... I replied

No ...... I heard her say

What ...... I said

I mean you'll be alone in the hall & you'll be scared ...... I heard her say

No I'm used to sleep alone ...... I replied

That is when I realised ...... she is sacred of darkness ..... this is the reason she is talking all these .....

Leaning towards her ..... are you scared ..... I whispered in her ears

No.... no ..... why I'll be scared ...... I heard her say

Okay then good night ...... I replied while tapping on her cheeks

Good night ...... I heard her say

I moved out of the room ..... & walked into the hall, sitting on the couch I opened my mobile to see her pic ...... I took the pic when she was sleeping at the balcony ...... she was looking so cute ...... kissing her pic in my mobile I locked it & placed on the table ...... I slowly made myself comfortable on the couch & closed my eyes !!!

Avni's PoV

I was trying to close my eyes but am unable to ....... he had to understand right that am scared of darkness ..... stupid fellow ...... Avni how will he know about you ..... did you say him no right, then how can you blame him ....... atleast you could've answered him yes when he asked you whether you're sacred or not but you said no ...... now sleep on this darkness ...... I heard my inner voice say

How will he know about me ...... ahhhh ..... gosh don't know when this light will come ..... how will I sleep now ...... no I cannot be here, I'll go & sleep in the hall ...... thinking this I got up taking my duvet with me ...... I slowly walked into the fall & saw him sleeping while hugging himself..... oh gosh he is shivering due to cold wind .....

I slowly took baby steps towards him & covered him with my duvet ...... oh my god how cute he is looking ...... I just want to kiss him ...... Avni control yourself ...... murmuring this to myself I turned to move but I halted in between.... I slowly turned towards him & started staring at him ....... giving a peck is not a crime right, thinking this I slowly leaned towards him .......

I just gave peck on his cheeks & moved towards my room to get another duvet for me .... coming out of the room, I adjusted myself on the couch & covered myself with duvet ...... he was sleeping exactly opposite to me ...... I recollected the moment that happened few mins ago ...... I gave a peck to a guy ..... blushing I closed my eyes ......

The moments we shared since evening started flashing infront of me ....... they are playing as if someone is projecting them...... I don't feel awkward when am with him, I behave very differently when he is around me ..... I can keep on staring at him continuously ....... what are these feelings am unable to understand ...... may be am getting attracted to him ........

I slowly opened my eyes when I felt pain in my neck , getting up I rubbed my eyes ...... I started looking here & there, that I when I saw him staring at me ...... oh gosh ..... now he will ask me why am sleeping here & all , what will I answer now .....

Good morning Miss diva ...... I heard him say

Good morning Mr. heartthrob ...... I replied

Well as far as I remember I made you sleep on bed in your room, then how cum you ended up sleeping here ...... I heard him say

Woh.... I came out to drink some water in the mid night & after that I slept here.....  I replied confidently

Just to avoid his questions further I immediately got up & was about to go to my room but his grip around my wrist made me halt at that position ..... I could feel his hot breathe fanning against my neck as my back was facing him ....... oh gosh ..... whenever he is around me my body acts weird, it acts as if it functions according to his instructions...

Please don't try to lie if you can't, atleast infront of me ....... he whispered into my ears

I didn't reply instead I was standing like a statue ..... what does he mean atleast infront of him .......

See you in 15 mins for dance practice ....... saying this he went away & closed the door

I didn't even realised when he moved away from me ...... seriously mahn he is giving me a very tough time .... I moved into my room & started taking out my mobile charger from the bag, that is when a slip fell down ...... taking that slip into my hand I opened it ......

Don't worry you will rock the floor, just trust yourself. I'll be always watching you ..... one more thing don't wear dresses in which you're not comfortable, even if it is for dance. Keep one thing in your mind,

beauty doesn't lie in the dress you wear or make you do..... it lies in your heart ......

So you'll look beautiful in whatever you wear, it just takes the correct person to see it !!!

Eternally mine ...... Who is this tillu ? ....... but how did he know that I was thinking about the dressing ...... yeah it's true that I was discussing this with Nisha ...... but how is this possible ...... for sure I haven't discussed topic this infront of anyone ....... god ...... what is happening with me !!!!

After a week :

Finally it was the day we all were waiting for "freshers party", since morning I was feeling nervous thinking about our dance. During our practice sessions we had many moments which made me to blush, at some point we both got involved in our dance to such a extent that we completely forgot about our surroundings & we ended up being in each other's arms for a long time.......

Looking myself in the mirror for one last time, I stepped out of the room ...... I was wearing a long black colour gown ...... not that I wasn't interested in wearing knee length frocks, it's just that I don't like wearing them to college.... especially when all eyes will be on me as I was given a title " diva of college" ..... but I feel good when He calls me diva ......

Avni you're looking extremely beautiful in this gown ...... I heard Nisha say

Thank you & you're looking sexy in this red dress .... I complemented her

Thank you ..... I heard her say while hugging me

Tarun will have a tough time seeing you like this ..... I said while winking at her

That is when we heard door bell ringing..... Nisha went to open the door while I went to kitchen to have some water .....

Coming out I saw him, I couldn't take my eyes off him ...... he was wearing a black shirt paired with blue jeans along with black blazer ...... he was looking dapper in that outfit ...... my tough time is started ..... I thought !!!
