Avni's PoV

        As we (me & Neil) were so good at dancing when compared to others we were asked to perform a couple dance individually & not with the group. I was feeling nervous as everyone's eyes would be on us & we need to have good chemistry between us.....

Somehow Neil sensed my nervousness & assured me that we will be giving our best, don't why I felt like trusting him but it felt so right at that time. Do you know on which song we are performing..... well you'll get know on freshers day ...... heheheh 😉

No doubt he is very handsome & every girl wants to be his dance partner including me..... & in this matter am very lucky..... hmmm he is hot.... dashing.... handsome....... & I like him..... well who wouldn't like him..... especially girls..... Neil Khanna ...... listening to this name every girl goes crazy..... including me.......

In the evening me & Nisha were walking towards our college gate & suddenly there was a tap on my shoulder, I turned in that direction & found no one..... strange isn't it..... shrugging myself I reached the parking lot where my scooty is parked..... I saw Neil & his gang standing there & were talking something......

I just stood there & started staring at him.... it became my latest addiction..... since he was shifted to our apartments my daily routine is to stare at whenever I get a glimpse of him.... twice I was caught by him, I was scared thinking of his reaction but soon it turned into shock ..... as he just smiled at me & pulled my cheeks..... what..... am I looking like a child to him who was staring at her fav toy & he found my staring cute.....

Avni ....... I heard Nisha calling & that is when I came out of my trance

Yup ...... saying this I turned in her direction

We ( me & Tarun ) are going for shopping so will you please go with Neil for today ...... I heard her say

I was about to reply but couldn't as I heard Neil's voice.....

Well who wouldn't like miss Diva to be seated on their bike, so it's my pleasure to drive her ...... I heard him say

Well in my college everyone calls me Diva & to be frank I don't like these unwanted attention...... he doesn't leave a chance to tease me..... anyways am very happy to sit behind him on his bike..... who will miss this golden chance...... after all he is the heartthrob of our college......

Okay Nisha see you at home ...... saying this I walked in the direction of his bike

Tie your scarf ...... I heard him say

Yup ...... saying this I covered by face with the scarf while he covered his face with helmet

On our way I found a pani poori stall & I asked to him to stop the bike & he halted the bike..... I was enjoying having pani poori..... who wouldn't enjoy while having this..... this tastes so good..... then I heard some sounds & that is when I realised it was from him as he is also enjoying while having pani poori......

Avni we've to leave fast, I think it will rain ...... I heard him say & that is when I saw clouds turning into dark colour & at the very moment I heard the sound of thunder

Let's leave ...... I replied while looking at him

Yeah ...... I heard him reply

He was driving his bike as fast as possible while I was holding the rod of the bike, so that I don't loose balance. In between he asked me to hold him but I didn't as I know about myself , it will be very difficult for me to hold myself when he is around me......

I felt some droplets dripping on my face & that I when I realised that, it started raining..... I felt our bike going little bit faster..... with in no time we got drenched as it started raining heavily...... I asked him to halt the bike near a shop so that we can find a shelter but he didn't listen to me.... instead he started driving the bike little bit faster.....

As my hands got wet due to rain the grip of my hands on the rod were getting loosen, having no other option I placed my hands on his shoulder..... I don't know what his condition is right now..... but mine is worse..... how can I control myself when am so close to him......

As soon as I heard a loud thunder, I moved closer to him & wrapped my arms around his waist while my head was resting on his back. I couldn't believe that am holding him that too so close...... I felt his body getting stiffened..... I don't what's happening to him..... shrugging my thoughts away I just enjoyed that moment.......

Avni get down ........ I heard his voice & that is when I realised that we've reached our apartments

Mumbling a sorry to him I quickly got down from the bike...... we both walked towards the lift & saw that it is not working as there was a power cut.... shit..... I murmured under by breath

What shall we do ....... I asked him

Well we've to take the stairs ...... I heard him say

Are you mad, Neil our flats are at 15th floor & you want to take the stairs..... I asked him in disbelief

Well we don't have any other option, we cannot stay here in these wet clothes for longer time as we may fall sick.... & the only option is to go by stairs ...... I heard him say

Yeah you're right but ....... I was interrupted by him

We will climb slowly ...... I heard him say

Okay but there will be no light near the stairs, then how can we see ....... I asked him

Well we've our phones with us, so will turn on the torch ..... I heard him reply

Okay let's go then ...... I replied

Finally breathing & panting heavily we climbed 8 floors, I'm sure if I take a single step now I'll definitely fall down as my legs gave up already..... turning towards I saw him & his condition was same as mine......

Let's take rest for sometime ...... I said while looking at him

Yeah ...... saying this he was about sit on the steps suddenly he lost his balance & was about to fall but I held his hand at the right time.....

I pulled him with such a force that we both landed on ground.... me being underneath him..... at the very moment I heard him say sorry & I just hummed in response....... I'm ready to bare your weight on me till my last breathe & from today my training starts so that I'll become perfect in this ....... I murmured under my breath .... a mere thought of this is sending shivers down my spine.....

our faces were so close & there was a inch difference..... but we should thank god that we fell down on landing place & not on stairs..... we fitted in each other's arms so well that it looked like a jigsaw puzzle.....

Suddenly from nowhere I heard this song playing.... wow... isn't a perfect song..... what a timing...... I murmured under my breath

I felt his fingers brushing my hairs strands to a side..... we were sharing a eye lock..... I felt his fingers moving on my face..... I could feel my body giving up under his touch..... grip of my hands around his neck got tightened the moment his fingers touched my lips..... my lips were parted.....

This song & it lines were perfect for the situation we are in right now..... I don't know what happened to me I just couldn't stop him ....... it felt so correct at that time what ever he was doing...... I wish this moment freezes here......

Avni...... I heard his voice in a husky tone & My heart started racing fast.....

Ha...an ....... I replied with great difficulty

He was about to say something but couldn't..... as we heard a loud thunder again..... and this time I just hugged him so tight that even air cannot be passed in between us..... I felt his hands getting wrapped around my waist..... I could hear his heart beat as I was hiding my face against his chest while his face was rested near to my neck......

Unknowingly my lips were pressed on his bare chest ( obvio his first three shirt buttons were open - Neil Khanna style you see 😉 )....... at the very moment I felt his lips on my neck..... & a soft moan escaped my mouth...... ( of course everyone knows it's a sensitive spot )....... due to this my eyes automatically got closed.......

I opened my eyes slowly only to see his eyes already staring at me...... his brown orbs are so hypnotising that anyone can loose themselves..... & am no different from others, So I lost myself completely...... I could see his face leaning towards mine..... I could feel his hot breath fanning against my lips..... I thought I'll loose my first kiss to him.... well to be frank I don't mind that to happen....

We came out of that moment when we heard some voices...... he was about to get up but he fell on me again as my hands were still wrapped around his waist..... for a sec my body became numb as his lips brushed against mine...... is this a kiss ..... no Avni it's not even a peck so how it can be a kiss ..... just stop thinking all these ..... I heard mind say

Avni.... give me your hand ...... I heard him say & that is when I realised that he already got up & was forwarding his hand towards me

Taking his hand I got up, I was looking down as I was unable to look at him..... we were taking our bags which were on steps, we saw some people climbing the stairs..... I couldn't see there faces still......

Hey Avni ...... I heard a male voice

Tuning in his direction I saw Rishi standing there..... well I don't like this guy at all..... he stares at me very differently...... & I don't like that

Hi Rishi ...... I replied

Do you need any help ....... saying this he was about take my bag but couldn't as Neil came in between

Hey it's okay I'll take it .... oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself ..... hi am Neil Khanna, Avni's friend...... I heard him say

Oh hi, am Ris....... he was interrupted by Neil

Oh I know you're Rishi, I just heard her taking your name..... by the way I live here itself & my flat number is 15b, so we can catch up anytime ...... I heard Neil say

Well his voice was a bit different.... I mean he answered him in not so interested voice.... but why....

But I haven't seen you here before ...... I heard Rishi say

That's because it's been a week since I shifted here ...... I heard Neil say

Oh Okay will catch up sometime ..... I heard Rishi say

Oh sure..... let's leave Avni ....... while saying this Neil intertwined our hands

See you soon Rishi ...... I heard Neil say

Yeah & bye Avni ...... I heard Rishi say

Bye ...... I replied while walking behind Neil

Finally we both reached our floor by stairs, I was walking in direction of my flat when I heard his voice ......

Avni ....... I heard him taking my name

Haan Neil ......... saying this I turned in his direction

As there is no current you will be sacred, So first we will go to my house, I'll change in 5mins & then we will go to your house....... I heard him say

I was feelings nervous thinking of us being alone in a flat after what happened few minutes back at the stairs but at the same time I was scared & I want him to be with me...... keeping my thoughts aside I decided to reply .......

Okay Neil ........ I replied while looking at him

Donno what is happening with me....... I cannot be myself when I'm around him, my body starts responding to his touch....... it feels like I belong to him & he belongs to me ........ I find solace in his arms ........ I'm not sure of my feelings...... this is the main reason am unable to come to any conclusion....... let's see what is written in my fate!!

Neil's PoV

As soon as I unlocked the door of my flat, I moved towards my room asking her to take the seat on the couch...... with help of cell torch I took out dry clothes for me..... the moment she hugged me when we were on bike, I felt a electric jolt hit my body..... when she asked me to stop the bike near a shop for the shelter..... I didn't stop instead I increased the speed of my bike......

As she was drenched fully all dirty eyes will be on her & I cannot let that happen.... so I didn't stop the bike..... only I can look at my girl ..... & no one has bloody right to do that.... yes am possessive about her & I will be ........

The moment we both fell down, I was on top of her.... I mumbled a sorry but she just hummed in response...... then I heard her murmuring these words..... I'm ready to bare your weight on me till my last breathe & from today my training starts so that I that I'll become perfect in this..... I was shocked to listen those words from her...... but I felt very happy seeing this bold side of hers which is only for me ......

I was really blushing hard thinking of the moment we had at the stairs...... she kissed me on my heart which belongs to only her ....... & I kissed on her neck where only I've right ......

Today I can seriously appreciate myself..... the self control I had was totally unimaginable..... I mean the love of my life was in my arms, we both were drenched & there was no source of light..... I could've kissed her but I controlled myself...... trust me I could feel current passing through my body.....

The moment our lips brushed together, an unknown feeling arose in my body...... it was more like a fire..... even though it was mere touch I felt in that way...... this is the effect she is having on me ..... & am sure no one can make me feel the way she makes me feel ...... haaayeee Miss Mehta ye kya kar Diya aap ne....... aapke pyaar mein dewaana bangaya hain yeh Khanna ......

The way her body responding to my touch is unexplainable..... I'm happy seeing the effect I'm having on her ....... well it would be a lie if I say that I didn't feel to take her down there itself..... only I know how I controlled my raising desires..... well we have whole life to explore each other....... I know what you people must be thinking ...... Mr. Single mind ...... right..... well indeed I'm & to be more precise it is only for my girl ..... My Avni

Moving out of the room, I saw her sleeping on the couch ( of course I used torch to see her ), she was looking so cute..... definitely she will kill me with her cuteness one day..... I chuckled at my thought.... standing infront of her I placed my hand on her shoulder & she immediately opened her eyes.....

Shall we ...... I asked her calmly

Yeah & am so sorry, I just ....... she couldn't continue further as I didn't let her finish

It's okay no need to be sorry ..... I replied

We both walked towards her flat & she unlocked the door, excusing herself she moved towards her room while I sat on couch..... then I remembered about Tarun & Nisha..... oh shit.... I completely forgot about them..... I immediately called Tarun ....

Hey Tarun, where are you both ...... I asked him

Hey Neil, due to heavy rain we got stuck at xyz place & I don't know what to do now ..... I heard him say

Do one thing see if you can find any hotel & stay for tonight, don't take any risk ...... I replied him

Will it be fine, I mean you & Avni ...... he was interrupted by me

Don't worry about us we've reached home safely, so you just find a hotel ....... I replied him

Oh okay ....... I heard him reply

Take care & yeah once you both reach the hotel please inform us ...... I replied

Yeah sure ...... I heard him say

Disconnecting the call I was just scrolling my Insta feed & suddenly I felt some weight on my lap, that is when I saw her sitting on my lap......
