Neil's PoV: Continuation from previous chap

                It became my daily routine to follow her wherever she goes since I saw her sometimes I use to spend time in cafe which was opposite to her house. One day I was sitting at the cafe with one of my friend & were having a conversation on random topics then my eyes fell on her she was looking so beautiful that I couldn't take my eyes off. Then I saw a guy lifting her up in the air & she was giggling but there was a pain in my heart witnessing this scene so I just left from there.

On the same night I was tossing on my bed as I couldn't sleep whenever am trying to close my eyes I could see the same image & I decided I will not think of that girl again. Meanwhile I received message from my friend asking to meet him at the mall for shopping to which I replied yes as there is only a week I'd would stay in Mumbai & after that I've to move to Delhi for attending my college.

Next day at mall

I've reached the mall little bit late as I couldn't get up early due to my sleepless night. As I thought I'd not think of her I tired being normal, I know yesterday's incident effecting me a lot but I've to get that out of my mind. Me & my friend Raj went to many stores but we could see the same old collection, so I suggested we can go to another mall to which he said okay & we were about to leave but I collided with the same guy whom I've seen with her yesterday evening but I was shocked to see another girl standing beside him & their hands were intertwined.

I was following them wherever they were going I know that's not my concern but I couldn't stop myself from doing that. The guy was about to kiss the girl & I was about to move towards him to confront him but suddenly there was a voice which interrupted him

Sid bhayya.... a girl called him & I turned in that direction & saw her

Yes princess ..... I heard that guy saying & saw him moving towards her followed by that girl

Note: of course I was watching & listening to them from a distance

Sid bhayya this is a public place so please keep your PDA acts restricted to your private place ..... she said while passing a sweet smile & I sighed in relief after knowing that he is her brother & going to be my BIL in future

Okay princess let's have lunch.... saying this he moved towards the table followed by the two girls

I settled myself on other table along with Raj & I kept staring at her. I totally forgot why are we here & were about to go other mall until & unless I heard Raj talking about that but soon I came with some lame excuse to which he said okay having no other option. After lunch they went to a store & I followed them totally forgetting about Raj but soon he came running behind & we entered into the store.

She picked up three shirts for her brother & asked him to try & she was as busy in talking to her bhabhi. He came out while holding the three shirts & by looking at his face we can make out that he liked all the three but she asked him to choose one but he was confused then I heard her...

Sonal bhabhi why don't you help your fiancé in selecting one shirt..... I heard her say

Hmm sure.... I heard Sonal bhabhi say... yeah as of know she is my bhabhi only right

Once they are done with the shopping they made their way to parking lot & as a good boy I followed. After an 1 hr of drive the car came to halt & she got down & walked towards the gate while the car went out of my sight. I reached my home & retired to my room once I was done talking to my family.

I took out the shirt from shopping bag & was holding it while looking myself in the mirror. This is one of the shirt she had selected for her bother as the other two shirts were selected by them, gosh.... am becoming mad but it's okay am mad for only my dream girl ....

Soon the time had passed & it was the day I had to leave for Delhi & now am terribly gonna miss her as I will not see her until I return to Mumbai. She was pacing to & fro in her balcony while reading & I stood near the cafe to get a glance of her. With a heavy heart I stepped inside the car & drove off to airport!!

End of flashback

Coming out of my trance I asked her whether she is okay or not but couldn't get any reply instead I saw her checking me out a smile appeared on my face. Making her stand properly I went along with my coach as I don't want things to get awkward b/w us but I can feel her gaze even if am not looking at her.

End of Neil's PoV

Avni's PoV

As it was our first day at college there were no classes it was only introduction. Soon we received circular stating that there are no classes as their is a football match between our department & other department boys so we were asked to move to the ground if we are interested else we can go to library. As I was never interested in sports I thought of going to library but my friend Nisha insisted that I should come to ground so I just said okay as I don't want to disappoint her.

Nisha is the first girl at college to whom I spoke when she sat beside me in the class. We got along so well with each other that no one would say we met for the very first time. She is a very sweet girl with kind nature, we both have some things in common. She said that she stays in hostel as her hometown is Rajasthan & she didn't knew anyone here & then I told her to share my flat to which she said okay atleast I'll get some company right!

We both stood at one corner to see the match as already the ground was full with many students. Then my eyes fell on him ,the same guy I got collided in the morning, he was good looking. I was happy to see him after a long gap ( 2-3 hrs) he was wearing our department jersey which is in green colour but I couldn't see his name. Then I heard some of the students shouting some guy's name while clapping & asking him to kick the goal...

Neil....Neil....Neil....Neil....Neil....Neil....Neil..

Then I saw the same guy was about the kick the goal & that is when I got to know his name Neil.. I repeated the name & to my surprise he turned in my direction I was looking at him while making some weird expressions ( like raising my eye brows, making my mouth wide open & scrunching my nose in between) he smiled & turned towards the court & he kicked the ball towards the net & it was a goal.

Everyone lifted him up in the air & were shouting his name while walking along the ground. I could see every girl over there was drooling over him ... who wouldn't do that as he is too hot & handsome & I thought am not an any exception. I was about to leave but Nisha called me then I remembered that I came along with her & I turned towards her while saying sorry to which she smiled & said okay. We were about to go but what I saw made me to froze at the same spot Neil winked at me, Nisha's tap on my shoulder made me to come out of my trance & without looking back I literally ran from there while Nisha came running behind.

Nisha asked me many times why did I ran like that to which I didn't reply & kept thinking about his wink. I could see Nisha is same like me very stubborn so I told her that I had to use the restroom & this is the reason I ran from there to which she okay while having different expression.

After college we both were walking towards the gate & I could see many guys commenting on girls while they were passing. I thought it was our turn but nothing happened like that instead I saw Neil standing there along with his friends & soon the other boys dispersed from there. As my footsteps were nearing to him my heart started beating faster than the usual, I could see a smirk on his face as if he could read my mind or listen to my heart beats.

So you both are freshers I heard one of the guy from Neil's gang asking to which we both replied yes. So you (pointing towards Nisha) that guy asked her to move aside while I stood there. You ( pointing towards me) Neil asked me to move aside to which I nodded & he started the conversation...

So what's your name miss.... I heard him asking

Avni Mehta ..... I replied while my head was facing the ground

Am I visible on the ground as your head is facing down.... I heard him asking

No.... I replied while lifting my head a little bit

Then reply me while maintaining the eye contact.... I heard him say

Okay..... saying this I lifted my head

So what's your name.... he asked me again while crossing his arms against his chest

I've answered that before I guess.... I said it confidently

Well am asking you again.... he said in a firm tone

You can me ask how many times you want but my name will remain the same... I said it sternly

Okay cool down! Well you're from which department... I heard him asking

Aeronautical.... I replied

Oh that's cool & am also from the same dept & your senior.... he said while smiling

Yeah I know & that's the reason you people have got chance to rag us... I said it while rolling my eyes

Oh hello miss who said that we ragging.... I heard him asking

Then what is this I mean I'm standing here with you & my friend is standing with another guy giving answers.... I asked him

Don't you know he is your friend's boyfriend & this is the reason I've asked you to move aside so that they can have some privacy & about this questionnaire session I just wanted to have conversation with you so that you won't feel left out but seems like I've misjudged you.... I heard him say & I felt very bad for talking to him like that so I thought of apologising him

He was about to leave but I got a grip on his hand which made him turn towards me....

I'm sorry I shouldn't have spoke to you like that, I thought you were ragging me so I.... I was cut in between by him

It's okay no problem, I can understand & no need to say sorry.... I heard him say

So am Avni Mehta..... I replied while forwarding my hand towards him

Am Neil Khanna..... I heard him replying

I was about to reply then I heard Nisha calling me so I bid bye to him & walked towards her & we both left the place. Then we both went to Nisha's hostel for packing the things & after that we retired to my flat.

Once we sat on couch Nisha apologised for not telling about her boy friend to which I replied it's okay as no one shares their personal matters in the very first meeting. Soon we both started unpacking Nisha's stuff while talking about some random things!!

Neil's PoV

Our football game has started & we were leading the board but one of my team mate got injured in between the match then got an opportunity to level out scores by half time. I was discussing about the game with my coach & saw first year students settling themselves in the place provided I wish she was there but my bad luck she was not there.

It's time for the second half & the match commenced we were passing the ball very carefully so that the opposition cannot get a chance to take away the ball. The ball was with my friend & am asking to pass the ball & I heard students shouting my name & the ball was passed to me & I was about to kick but suddenly I heard someone taking my name I turned in that direction & saw her standing the crowd. The moment our eyes met my lips curved into a wide smile while she was making some weird expressions trust me she was damn cute & smiling sheepishly I turned towards the court & kicked the ball towards the net & it was a goal.

Soon everyone gathered around me & lifted me up in the air & were walking along the ground but my gaze was fixed on her & she was looking at me & then I winked at her while she was shocked & there was tap on her shoulder from her friend & she immediately ran from there without turning back while her friend ran behind her.... god this girl & her cute antics. I just can't get enough of them & am ready to witness these antics for my whole life time!

I saw her & her friend walking towards the entrance then I heard Tarun one of my friend talking about her friend & when I asked him he said that they are in relation since 2 years & her friend's name is Nisha. I was happy that I got a chance to talk to her & then I saw some guys commenting girls who were passing & I can see her tensed face then we immediately walked towards those boys & warned them.

She along with Nisha were walking in our direction & I could see her smiling & also feel her heart was beating faster as mine & immediately a smirk appeared on my face. When Tarun asked Nisha to move aside she stood there & then I asked her to move the other side & I started the conversation. Finally got to know her name Avni I thought she was innocent but no she was not. She thought I was ragging but I clarified that am not & she immediately apologised me & I felt bad for lying to her. Infact I was ragging coz I wanted to know more details about her but that didn't worked out. Again she introduced me while forwarding her hand & I introduced myself while shaking her hand. She was about to talk but Nisha called her & both left from there.

I thought of starting my stalking session but decided against it when I got know that there is small party planned by coach for our victory!!!
