Eternally Us (Hetalia)
Natalya and Katyusha Braginsky sat on a park bench one day in summer. Their bleach blonde hairs blew in the wind, Natalya's long hair and Katyusha's short hair. Bela's (Natalya) dress spread out around her. Kat smiled. "I love the smell of cut grass." "You love everything sister." She said plainly. "It just smells like summer!" Bela chuckled slightly, amused at her older sisters childish-ness. "We should do this more often." She said, looking up at the sky. Bela looked at her.
Bird flew by them and Kat pulled out the bread she had in her purse. They threw it back and forth. After a minute she noticed that a smaller bird wasn't getting any bread. "Aww, the little guy didn't get any. Bela, see if you can get him to eat some!" Bela nodded and threw some bread to him, although the big birds came and ate it before he could. "The other birds are too quick for him…" Kat looked down a bit before announcing something. "Sometimes life just isn't fair." Bela looked at her. "What do you mean?" "Sometimes it's just like we're fighting so so hard and what do we get? One bad hand and it's all over." "Kat, what're you talking about?" She stood up and walked a bit to the side. "Kat?" Bela asked. "I really love the park this time of year." Bela stood and walked beside her, looking at the park from her point of view. "Yeah, its pretty I guess." Katyusha took a deep breath in. "Bela... I have something to tell you." "Kat?"
Almost out of nowhere, a door appeared on the grass. A man with brown hair, piercings and sunglasses came out. He held a bat covered in nails and wore a dark jacket. "She's gone Bela." She turned around and saw him. "Wha...What do you mean? No, she's right there." "Look again." He pointed in behind her. She looked back and didn't see her. The sky became red, clouds inverted and even the lamp post became destroyed. "Sister!" She yelled. "Wait..." "Why do you fight it?" The man asked. "What's happening?" He walked past her, picking up a watch Katyusha always wore on her neck. "Tick tock Bela, tick tock." "Where's my sister?" She yelled. "Tick tock." He repeated. "Oh, but it seems that your time is already up." She ignored him and only focused on her own questions. "Who are you? What have you done with Kat?" "What have I done with her?" He stood up and walked closer to her, leaning on his bat. "I've taken everything she was and left a bitter taste in your mouth. You can't fight me. You can't plead with me. I take what I will and leave only that which you pray to God will leave you every time the sun sets. The pain. The longing. That stinging feeling in your heart that perhaps there was something you could have done." Bela couldn't believe what he was saying. "No..." "Once I've taken my fill and drained you dry. Once the sound of the last chime has died to nothing, all you'll have is the reminder that time goes on. Without her… Tick tock Bela. Tick…tock…." He smiled at her and walked back into the door. "Come back!" She yelled, reaching for him. Her voice suddenly quieted. "Where's my sister?" Looking around and seeing no other options, she followed him and went in as well.
