CHAPTER 23 :- But I Did It Any ways...
ZAC’S POV
I could feel the hurt she felt the moment I told her the reason for ‘the kiss’. I couldn’t do anything about it and the guilt hanged there for a while. Truthfully the reason I told her was not complete.
There was more to be added but I didn’t wanna tell her. If I did then I would feel like I have betrayed someone. I tried to talk to her but instead ended up asking her whether she wanted a drink.
She simply nodded, refusing to look at me That’s when I realized the mistake of my life which I’m going to regret very soon.
Her feelings made her drink more and soon she was drunk enough to go crazy. Very difficult to handle a drunk Kristen even if by chance you are a vampire. But what she did next was totally unbelievable.
She went over to the DJ and began shouting. “Hey, Hey you. I‘m talking to all of you, not to the walls…You guys mad or what? You guys call this a party or what? You know what? This party sucks.” There were gasps as her voice echoed.
I was going to go to her so I could help her control herself nevertheless she continued “I could litteraly fall asleep here. You know what? I’ll show you what’s a party.”
She gives her phone to the DJ and instructs to play all the songs she has. Just as I reach the DJ, she slides down to the bar counter.
Songs began to play and she began to dance seductively to the beat, diverting all the attention to herself. Men looked at her with lust, women looked at her with horror and children present had their eyes covered.
She kept on dancing and I felt like she was going to end up falling but it seems she had a firm balance even though she was in high heels.
In no time, she turned the whole place upside down, from a boring ball to an energetic mad house. I see Walt and Ash whistling and other men’s lusty looks daggering her long, sexy figure gave me the urge to growl, to remind these fools that she was mine and I wouldn’t like anyone staring at my date like that.
The other women started to join her, to catch the attention of their respective dates by ripping their dresses up till their mid thighs in the most seductive manner.
At some point, they did manage but still Kristen had most of their attention. The only one fuming was Ashley. It was her party and what she planned it to be had gone completely against to what was happening.
The look on her face had just made my day as she stormed out angrily while Kristen spots Chris, walking towards him.
Not to mention she is still on the bar counter. And she jumps on his back and messes his hair, giggling. Chris recognizes his attacker, puts her back on the counter and turns towards her with a smile with their faces inches apart.
Not to mention the fact that he was standing between her legs which was spread wide, showing off her denim shorts. Slowly she was falling back. Chris caught her by the arm and I appeared by her side. “Kristen, you are drunk.” Chris pointed out and in response she began giggling again.
He looked at me. “My fault.” I admitted. Suddenly she holds up her pointer and her thumb and places it front of her face, trying to make it look very cute. frankly she didn't have to put much effort. “Loser.” She says, trying to look through the curve she made by closing one eye and again began to fall behind.
Both of us reached out our hand instinctively but she straightened herself. Silence as we both look at Kristen snatching someone else’s drink and downing it.
“I’ll look out for her.” I say as she spots something of her interest thus leaving him behind with his confused date. There was a rope, right in the middle of the hall. Put by who, no clue. She jumps on it and swings around, letting herself win the attention again.
The clock struck twelve, the time party was supposed to end. I tried to take Kristen out but she clung to the nearest immovable chair.
So I had to carry her bridal style but her hands and legs kept getting out of control as the Breezer bottle kept hitting my head. Thus I ended up carrying her over my shoulder which seemed to keep her calm except for the fact that she kept talking to the bottle as if it could understand a thing she was saying.
As I reached the parking lot, I see one car which was left for us. The others had already left. I placed her in the car before getting in myself. The car started the journey back home and she slowly crawled into my lap, facing towards me.
Her face was inches away from mine and her hands fastened itself around my neck and she giggled when she gave me a kiss on the cheek, quite close to the ends of my lips.
“Do you love me?” She asked innocently but yet kept on giggling. I didn’t dare to answer. “Obviously, why would you love me? You think I love Ryan, right?” I didn’t know who Ryan was but yet it made me growl.
“Is my vampire jealous?... Oh Baby, Don’t be jealous. It’s just rumours. Don’t believe these walls.” She says, tapping the open window with the bottle. “Now let it go, Love. Let it go.” She said before taking a swig.
I tried to pull the bottle away from her hand but she kept teasing me by keeping it out of my reach. “Zacky boy, if you want it all you had to do is ask.” She taunted as she brought the bottle between our faces.
Getting the chance, I snatched it and threw it outside the window. “Hey, that was mine. Now who will gimme a new one?” She pouted. “Kristen, that’s enough of drinking.” I warned. “Aye, Aye captain!” She gave the mocking salute with a serious face and then began giggling. “God, you are so cute. I never saw that.” She goes on as she pulls my cheeks. “Na, I still think Chris is cuter.”
Just then we reached home, I picked her up bridal style and ran to her room, Placing her down on her soft bed and was about to leave when she pulled me back. “You know I can walk. I’m not that drunk.” She says as she tries to sit up, resting her back on the wall.
“Yes Kristen, I can see that very well.” I add sarcastically. “You know…” She climbed onto my lap again. “…the world is not as round as you think. It is slightly flattened at the poles.”
Her eyes moved from my eyes to my lips as they began to close in. Not wasting any time, I melted into it. My hand cupped her face as the second pulled her closer by the waist, her legs fastening tighter around my waist. Her hand was around my neck while the other one played with my tie, pulling me closer.
The feeling of her soft lips in mine would soon be the feeling I would die for. Our lips had been in sync but a chance came where I nibbled on her lower lip, making her moan in sweet satisfaction.
Soon I realized that her hand which was fiddling with the buttons had cleverly unbuttoned them slowly, loving the feel of my bare chest. That’s when I snapped back into reality and realized that I was swimming drunk in the pools of her alluring charms. “Kristen, …… you……… need…….. to…… sleep.” I murmured against her lips as they were pressed hard against mine.
She pulls away with a frown. “No, I don’t want sleep. Sleep is bad. I want you.” “Kristen, please sleep.” I requested again. “OK, I’ll sleep but promise you won’t go.” “I promise, Love.” I say calmly.
She crawls back onto bed and lays her head on the pillow and then looks at me intently with those huge beautiful brown eyes of hers. Seeing me look at her sleep, she patted next to her, wanting me to sleep too. I sigh as I kick my shoes aside and before I could lay down.
She said “My shoes too.” Pointing her feet upwards. As I removed her heels, I couldn’t help feeling the softness of her skinny legs. Slap! And my hand jerked away by the effect. I look at her giggling. “Bad vampire! Naughty vampire!” I bounced beside her and she looks at me with those eyes, giggling.
"Kristy, you have to sleep." I remind her. "I can't, Zacky!" And she pouts. I sit up. "Ok, then atleast let's get you sober." I went to her bathroom which was neatly kept unlike women usually. I put on the shower and made sure it was cold ice water that was pouring out. I went back for her. She was too interested in tracing the intricate designs of her pillow with the soft touch of her fingers. "Come. Let's go." I pick her up and make her stand under the shower. "I can wa- It's f***** cold!" She suddenly used the loudness in her voice and cringed away from the water.
"You need to get sober." I reasoned to an absolute stubborn and drunk but sexy and beautiful brunette. "Then you come in here with me." Saying this, she pulled me by the collar and both of under that tiny shower. The water turned from cold to luke warm and at that moment I didn't almost care.
Space ceased to exist between us and her lips were eager to reach her favourite destination. Her hand went up to my hair and the other pulled me by the chin, slowly trying to reach her lips to mine. She was short and her trying to reach grew tiresome.
I smirked at her incapability of her getting what she wants. I pushed her against the wall and placed my hands on either side of her head and she used the chance. Positions reversed and my fingers cleverly undid the knot behind her neck as she aggressively sucked on the sweet spot she recently found after planting soft kisses down my neck. "I love you, Zac Moore... I love you so much." She muttered against the pressure of my lips.
I pulled away in shock. "What did you say?" I ask unbelievably. "God, are deaf or what?" She asked with a taunting smile. Her fingers felt itself down my cheek as she bit her lower lip seductively.
Her hands left my neck and went behind to unzip her dress. "What are you doing?" I asked her. "I'm doing what you wanted." For that moment, she kind of looked sober but then we were back to square one when she grinned like an idiot in her words.
Then I remembered that my fingers were also unzipping her dress slowly and she only wanted to fasten the process. "No need, Kristy. Forget it." She pouts. "But I want it to happen, Zee. Why don't you get it?" She complains with her eyes drooping off.
"Be- Wait, what did you call me?" Increduously asked. She remembers? "Zee?" She gave me her cute smile. "Let's go." I tried to pull her out but she firmly stayed so had to carry her out, bridal style.
