Rory stood at the door of the Salvatore Boarding House while picking the her nail polish as Stefan opened the door. Rory hadn't spoken to anyone in a couple of days since Shelia's passing, instead she stayed in her room and read the book Shelia told her about.

"Hi." Rory said
"Hi, are you okay?" He asked
"Yes, I'm sorry I haven't been in contact with you, it's been a rough couple of days but I realise we need to talk. All of us." She gave him a look.

"Right, come in." He said
"I should probably warn you, Damon is..."
"Drinking the blood of college girls." Rory looked into the living room to see girls in their underwear while Damon drank from their neck.

"Rory. Glad you could join us." Damon said
"We need to talk." Rory said
"Anything you need to say you can say to all of us."

"Fine. I'm here because we need to discuss the fact that we are destined to be together since we are soulmates. I was reading the book and we need to fuck." Rory said making Damon and Stefan freeze.

"Party is over. Important conversations need to held." Damon announced.

Rory sat on Stefan's bed with the book laid out in front of them. The Salvatore brothers admired their soulmate as she wore her glasses that just slipped down her face
"There's different aspects to it. The dreams. The tether. All of it."
"And if in the most detailed way possible. What did these dreams consist of?" Damon asked.

"Well it's mentioned in the book that once the steps are completed marks will appear. In my dream I had 9 of them on my wrists." Rory said
"Did you see your other soulmates?" Stefan asked
"Couldn't see their faces. I just felt their eyes on me."

"And where we?" Damon asked
"With me." She said
"Where?" He asked

"In the shower." She mumbled and they both look at her.

"I do not want to talk about."
"How about we recreate it?" Damon asked
"How about you shut up?" Rory fired back.

"Anyway. How it works is a we will have to share blood at the same time at one point and then at another... have relations." Rory said
"You mean have sex?" Damon asked and she nodded
"Say it." He encouraged.

"We have sex." She looked up at him.

"So we have to assume your other soulmates are vampires." Stefan said and Rory nodded
"Yay." She awkwardly smiled
"Maybe you know each other." She suggested.

"So are we dating now?" Damon asked
"I don't know. It would be a bit weird. 'Oh hey mom turns out I'm just dating Stefan but also his brother who you called hot' because that conversation won't be awkward." She said.

"How about this... clean slate. You won't be dating either of us, I mean kissing and other stuff is still on the table but once we figure this out we can sort labels for it." Damon suggested
"It could work." Stefan said and Rory stayed silent
"I mean if you want we can be exclusive. Both of us." Damon said.

"Really? The Salvawhore is willing to be exclusive without a label." Rory gasped
"You really gave me that name?" Damon asked and she nodded
"So..." He looked at her.

"Fine. But I'm still annoyed at both of you, so no kissing or anything." Rory said and they nodded
"What about hand stuff?" Damon suggested
"I'm sorry but I haven't even kissed you yet so that's a definite no." She stood up.

"I will be reading this more. Try to find my other soulmates. Try not to kill each other." She exited the room.

"I cannot believe it's been so long since we hung out." Caroline said
"I know. Now, what are we doing?" Rory asked
"I need help with my Miss Mystic Falls Dance." She said and Rory nodded.

"M'lady." She held out her hand to Caroline
"Stop, you'll make me blush."
"Just by asking you to dance? This should be fun." Rory said and Caroline laughed.

She played the music and they both dance
"I swear if you step on my foot I will shove you out the window." Rory promised and Caroline laughed then tapped her foot
"Thats it." Rory said and threw her on the bed then got a pillow.

"You think thats funny?" She asked as she lightly tapped her with the pillow multiple times and Caroline laughed
"Hilarious." She said and Rory laughed and laid down beside her.

"What is going on here?" Caroline's mother walked in to see the girls laughing
"Miss Mystic Falls practice." Caroline replied
"Sounds like it."

"Well it was either that or I threw her out the window. Didn't really think you'd appreciate it." Rory sat up and Liz looked at her then just chuckled
"Are you coming to the fundraiser?" Liz asked
"I thought you didn't have enough eligible bachelors?" Caroline asked.

"We do now. Damon is gonna help out."
"Damon? As in Salvatore?" Rory asked
"Yep, I'm sure there will be lots of fundraising because of him."

"Yeah, I mean he is the most eligible bachelor." Rory said.

Rory walked into the Salvatore house
"Back so soon? Is it for hand stuff?" Rory turned to see a shirtless Damon Salvatore in front of her
"No it's about fundraising stuff since you're 'the most eligible bachelor in mystic falls'." Rory smiled at him.

"Listen, I was gonna tell you." Damon started to button his shirt
"I'm fine. Besides it's mostly gonna be a lot of MILFs there. If you didn't live in this house you could of gotten yourself a sugar mamma." Rory joked.

"Can you help me?" He turned to her and she gave him a look
"Please." He said quietly and Rory walked up to him and buttoned his shirt
"I'm sorry about the fundraiser."

"It's fine. Besides I understand, this whole 'destined to be together' stuff is a lot especially what you've been through."
"You know when Katherine wasn't in the tomb some of me was relieved, it was like I didn't want to find her." He admitted and she looked up at him.

"When Elena ran into the tomb and said you were in trouble, I completely forgot about her and I needed to get to you." He said
"So is that it? Katherine doesn't matter now?" She asked
"Like you said. We are destined to be together." He leaned when Rory got a text.

"I'll see you at the fundraiser." She pulled away and then left the house.

"He's already been hit on, like, 35 times. He's total cougar bait." Caroline said as Rory stood next to Elena
"Impressive." Elena said
"More like embarrassing." Matt corrected.

"Good to be self aware." Rory leaned over and patted his shoulder.

"Hi, Mrs. Donovan." Caroline said and she looked over at Caroline with distaste
"Elena, honey." She smiled
"Hi, Kelly." Elena hugged her.

"Long time, no see." Kelly smiled
"How are you doing?" Elena asked
"Oh, same old. Oh. Matty tells me you broke his heart." She said.

"Mom." Matt warned
"Just kidding. Calm down. He found his rebound girl." She glanced at Caroline
"Bitch." Rory coughed and Kelly looked over at her.

"What did you say?" Kelly asked
"Sorry, I said bitch." Rory smiled
"Who are you?" Kelly asked.

"My question is who are you because I've thankfully never seen you before and if you're Matt's mom and he's lived here all of his life that means... oh." Rory pouted
"How dare you talk to me like that." Kelly gasped
"If you keep making comments about my friend or even give her another bitchy look trust me I will say a lot worse." Rory promised and Kelly then glanced at Caroline.

"Oh. Here you go, sweetheart. However many that'll buy." She said giving her money
"I just hope I don't get Bachelor 3. I dated him in high school. Not impressive. In any way." Kelly said and Matt shook his head in embarrassment as Caroline hands her tickets
"Very exciting." She then walked off.

"I'm sorry." Rory turned to Matt
"It's fine. Granted someone had to do it."
"Again really sorry." She said and then went behind the bar.

"Bourbon, please." She turned to see Damon
"I don't think you should drink that much." Rory said and touched his forehead
"You do not look well. You look drunk already." She said.

"I like you touching me." He smiled and she removed her hand from his forehead
"You can't say that. You have MILFs waiting for you."
"Oh, but I only want you." He walked away to the stage.

Rory stood behind the bar while Stefan stood on the other side as Mrs Lockwood went down the line to introduce the bachelors
"And what do you do, Bachelor Number 3?" She asked
"Yeah, I'm a plumber." The man responded.

"Well, isn't that wonderful? We could always use more plumbers. Moving on. Number 4, 'Alaric Saltzman.' Wow. That's quite a mouthful. What do you do, Alaric?" She asked
"I'm a teacher at Mystic Falls High." He said.

"Oh, beauty and brains, ladies. This one's a keeper. What do you teach?"
"History." He responded
"History. Oh, well, give us a fun fact about Mystic Falls, something crazy." She said and he stumbled over his words.

"He's probably saving the best stories for his date. And last, but not least, Damon Salvatore. We don't have much on you." She said
"Well, I'm tough to fit on a card." Rory rolled her eyes at the comment.
"Do you have any hobbies, like to travel?" She asked.

"Oh, yeah. L.A., New York. Couple of years ago, I was in North Carolina. Near the Duke campus, actually. I think—I think Alaric went to school there. Didn't you, Ric?" He asked
"Yeah, 'cause I-- I know your wife did." He said and Rory instantly saw Stefan tense
"What is it?" She asked and he wrote it down.

His wife is Elena's bio mom

"Fuck." She whispered
"I had a drink with her once. She was—she was a great girl. I ever tell you that? Cause she was -- Delicious. Mmm! Mmm mmm mmm." He said and Elena went out of the grill.

"Attention Everyone! The first 10 people to get a drink gets it on the house!" She announced cutting Damon off as swarms of people came to the bar.

The raffle was now being drawn and once again all of the bachelors stood on the stage
"And bachelor number 3 goes to 37458." Carol Lockwood announced
"That's me." Kelly put her hand up and got to the stage
"Ah. Kelly Donovan. Lovely. You and the plumber should have so much fun." She said.

Rory noticed Elena walk back in
"Right, I'm clocked out." She said to Matt who nodded as she followed Elena who bumped into Damon
"Whoa. Easy there. Buy a ticket like everyone else." He said.

"Did you enjoy that? Rubbing it in to Alaric Saltzman?" Elena asked
"What?" He asked
"Just as I was starting to think that there was something redeemable about you." She said.

"Elena." Rory said
"Am I missing something here?" Damon asked
"Did I forget to mention earlier when we were talking about my birth mother? The one that gave me up?" She said and he hummed.

"Her name was Isobel." She said and he realised
"Go ahead. Reminisce about how you killed her." She said and walked away revealing Rory standing there.

Damon then approached Rory
"So, you hate me more?" He asked
"I think you're drunk. A mean drunk, I'll take you home." She said and he followed her.

"You really said that to Matt mother?" He asked
"Yep." She nodded
"Whats your deal? Why do you have so many mommy issues?" He asked and she hit him with a pillow.

"Shut up. I only shout at mom's who abandon their kids." She said
"Why?"
"My mom did it." She shrugged.

"When?" He asked
"I was 5. I had a nightmare one night and I woke up somewhere I didn't know. Turns out it was crypt. That's why I never mess with spirits and the dead." She shook her head
"She left you in a crypt." He said.

"Better than the nightmare I had. I was in the woods and I saw my mother with other people around this fire. They saw me and they started to scratch and cut me then they chanted. It was weird." She shivered.

"And you were 5 when you had that dream?" He asked
"Yep." She smiled
"You're something else."

"That is why I was freaking the fuck out when you left me in the tomb. It was awful." She said
"I'm sorry." He said
"That does make sense on how you were gripping my hand for dear life." He said and she laughed.

"Didn't hear you complaining one bit."
"True." He shrugged and took her hand, intertwining it.

"I wonder who got a date with The Damon Salvatore?" Rory said
"It doesn't matter." Damon shook his head
"She's not you."
