lani was in the kitchen cooking her something to eat, she was worried about eve and not sure where she went but hoped she was okay. she picked her phone up noticing a text from an unknown number she clicked on it "can we meet and talk? -ray" she read to herself

she didnt know how he got her number and she got a bad feeling from this guy, she didnt understand how he knew where she lived or even got her number. she was creeped out by him so she blocked his number and deleted the chat, she was gonna listen to eve and stay clear

her phone started ringing so she looked and saw mars' name "hey" she said putting the phone on speaker "you coming to the studio tonight?" he asked, she had to think if she wanted to but she knew she couldn't sleep anymore so why not she thought

"yeah I am, are you gonna be there?" she said as she cleaned the kitchen "sorry i cant my girl wants to chill tonight but ill leave some beats for you so you choose which one you want to work on" he said, she smiled to herself; she loved when mars let her handle the recording herself

"okay i cant wait thanks mars have a good night with your girl" she said before they both hung up. she went upstairs and went into her bathroom and started her shower. she got into the steamy water, washed herself and her hair and after what felt like an hour she got out and started getting ready.

as she finished, she grabbed her phone and left out of her room before she turned towards her brothers room to knock on his door "hey just wanted to let you know im leaving" she said peeking her head through his door, she noticed he was playing some racing game "alright be safe" he said looking at her

"I will! i think eve is on her way back but if not please let me know and ill come home" she said to him smiling "ill be fine go before you're late" he said rushing her as he turned back to his game she laughed and closed his door and walked downstairs

she grabbed her keys and walked out the door then locked up and walked to the car. as she got in she started the car up and drove off her when phone started ringing. she answered it "hello" she said " lani i miss you!!!" lexi voice came through her speakers as she laughed at how loud she was being "lexi why are you yelling? and i miss you too" she said smiling

"because i miss you i feel like i havent seen you in months" she said, lexi was dramatic as her and lani just hung out last week when lani helped her look for a dress for a party she was going to today "lexi we seen each other last week" she said

"yeah a month ago lani that was so long ago" she said sounding serious and all lani could do was laugh at her friend. she turned into the parking lot of the stuido "lexi ill have to talk to you later im at the studio" she said to her "ill plan a day for us to hang out and do something okay" she said, lani knew lexi would love a girls day out

"sounds good be safe, love you" she said "I will, love you too bye" they hung up and lani got out of her car and walked inside. as she got inside she noticed the guy from earlier with her brother she rolled her eyes

"lani!" shawn yelled out to her as she tried to sneak pass them, she cursed herself as she turned around and smiled at her brother "whats up shawn" she said "ray wanted to go to the studio so we're waiting on a room. what you doing here? meeting someone?" he asked "im recording today and no i have a room always ready" she said her brother looked at her and then ray

"how about we hang with you and you let ray record in your studio?" he said she sighed knowing he would do this "no sorry i gotta get some things done but maybe next time" she said as she turned around getting ready to walk away but ray grabbed her hand stopping her from walking away

"come on... please just one song?" he begged she looked at him trying to figure out if what he was doing actually worked on girls and hoped it didn't. she pulled her hands away from him "like i said shawn no" she turned around again but this time shawn and ray followed her and then pushed their way in her room

"HEY! what the fuck is yall problem get the fuck out!" she yelled at them they both looked around and looked at her laughing "shut up lani you should share this room" ray said to her lani looked around trying to figure out who he was talking to "you both got 5 seconds to leave right now" she said

they looked at her and laughed again "come on sis stopping being like that" shawn said as he walked by lani putting his hands on her shoulder "ray is here to be with you lighten up already " he said

lani was done and over them she sighed as she got her stuff and she walked out the room she could hear her brother yelling for her she slammed the door and turned to walk away but bumped into someone "shit im sorry" she said looking up noticing lewis "what are you doing here?" she said "your brother told me you would be here so i came to see you, why are you leaving so early?" he said curious

she sighed "my brother and his friend took over my studio session" she said she noticed his expression and could tell he was pissed "what room?" he said she pointed at the door behind her he walked up to the door "wait here" he said before going in

lani did what lewis said and waited there, she honestly didnt even want the session anymore they ruined her night but she knew she had to finish this song before it was too late and her label would be on her. she sighed as she waited for lewis
