Chapter 5
Corrina woke up to the sunshine, peeking through the closed blinds. She stirred a little and pulled the covers to her chin and over her head, to block out the blinding light. She was slowly drifting off to sleep again. But there was this nagging feeling, that something wasn't right. The bed didn't feel any familiar and her skin wasn't as heated, as it should be after a long sleep. She moved her arms around her body and found out, she was only wearing her underwear. She quickly sat up and looked around. She was laying on a large, double bed, in the middle of a baby blue room, that clearly wasn't her own. She turned her head to the left and saw, that she was alone in the bed. She sighed in relief. She got up, streched and yawned. She put on a bathrobe, she found in the bathroom, made the bed and walked out of the bedroom.
She wanted to look around for Bob, but she heard a soft snoring and muffled voices, coming from the living room. She tiptoed to the doorframe and peered in. She smiled, love shining in her eyes. He was there, sprawled on the couch, with his mouth slightly agape, breathing deeply and snoring quietly to the still playing radio. He looked absolutely adorable and she had a hard time, not letting an ''Aww", escape her lips. She quietly made her way to the radio and turned it off, while still looking at Bob, making sure not to wake him up. Then she took a blanket, laying on the floor and tucked him in.
-"He looks so adorable and innocent, when he's asleep"- she thought. -"No, he always looks like like that"- she smiled to herself and kissed his forehead.
He stirred and mumbled something in his dream, then he smiled and fell back into a peaceful sleep. She giggled lightly and left the room.
Bob woke up to a delicious smell. He sniffed the air and smiled dreamily.
-"Mmm... Pancakes"- he thought.
He turned to his other side and buried himself under the blanket. Suddenly, through a dreamy haze, he heard light footsteps. He squinted his eyes, not wanting to wake up, just yet. The person came into the living room and came up to the sofa, he was laying on. He heard a plate, being placed on the coffee table with a silent tap and he felt a pair of delicate hands, spreading the blanket and touching his hair, softly.
-Bobby...- an angelic voice whispered. -Wake up dear. I've made you breakfast... Come on! You can't spend the whole day on the couch!
He turned around and yawned, sleepily. He rubbed his eyes with his fists, what made him look even more adorable and opened them, to take a better look at the one, who woke him up.
-"Oh God"- he thought, his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide. -You're beautiful- he said, dreamily.
Her cheeks became crimson and she covered herself tighter with the robe.
-Oh! Sorry! Did I say that out loud?- he blushed as well. -It's just... I-I thought i-it was impossible fo-for you to look better than y-you did, since the d-day we've met. B-but with e-every day, y-you just seem to b-become more beautiful a-and I-I can't believe t-that you... That I was able to k-kiss you yesterday a-and that you're here a-and...- he didn't have the time to finish, because she sat next to him and pulled him into a long, passionate kiss, wrapping her arms around him.
He was stunned, but started to kiss back immediately. He caressed her cheek with his left hand, while his right hand traveled down her body, to the small of her back. He leaned in and started to lay her down, without breaking the kiss. When her whole back touched the leather sofa, she broke the kiss and laughing, slipped from underneath him. She got up and fixed her clothes, still grinning madly.
-I've made you pancakes and some hot coffee. You need to eat your breakfast, before it gets cold- she pushed the plate, with a steaming food, towards him.
He smiled and she winked at him. He started to eat. It was delicious.
-Mmm... It's gweat!- he said, with his mouth full.
-Hey! What about talking and eating at the same time?- she asked, trying to act like an annoyed mother, but failing by cracking a too big smile.
He patted a place, right next to him and she took a few steps towards him, but then changed her mind and went to turn on the radio, first. She found an rock 'n' roll station and smiled widely. She run up to the sofa, jumped on the seat next to Bob and hugged him tightly. He smiled, while still eating his pancakes. After a few minutes of silence, interrupted only by some good old rock 'n' roll and Bob's munching, she decided to put back on her clothes. So she excused herself and went to the bedroom to get changed. After she got back, she took the same spot on the couch and held Bob, once again.
Suddenly, something big, black and heavy jumped on her lap. She squealed, scaring Bob.
-What's wrong?!- he asked, worried.
She took a closer look at the ball of fur on her lap and laughed. Bob frowned.
-I completely forgot you had a cat- she said, petting the purring animal.
-Oh, right!- he scratched his head.
-Where was he last night? I haven't seen him here...
-Probably at my neigbour's flat. She really likes him. She lives alone and when I'm out for a longer time, he just goes to her and sometimes even stays the night- he shook his head and patted the cat's head. -You're a little gadabout, aren't you Mr. Darcy?- he said smiling.
The cat meowed and squinted his green eyes. Corrina laughed. She looked at Bob's empty plate.
-Finished?- she asked.
-Yeah, thank you. It was delicious! But... What about your breakfast?!- he asked with a worried look.
-Don't ya worry 'bout me- she smiled. -I've already eaten.
-Oh... Okay then!- he exclaimed, clapping once. -Let's do something fun today.
-Okay! Like what?- she asked, hiding her face in Mr. Darcy's fluffy belly and giggling when his purrs got louder.
Bob looked at her, deep in thought. Suddenly, his face lit up and he smiled happily.
-I know a perfect place to go!- he said.
-Really? Where is it and what can we do there?- she asked, curious.
-I can't tell you- he stated firmly. -It's a surprise.
-Okay then- she rolled her eyes.
Suddenly, she jolted up and looked around the room, searching for something.
-What time is it- she asked nervously.
-Around ten, I think. Why?
-I gotta go home. Me cat's probably hungry and she'll be mad at me for the rest of the week, if I won't be back soon- she got up, placing Mr. Darcy on the sofa and went to the hall, to put on her boots and coat.
Bob followed her, pouting. He stood by the mirror and looked at her. He didn't say anything. After she wrapped herself tightly in her black, winter coat, she looked at Bob and smiled.
-"He's such a sweet guy"- she thought. -"I'm glad, he's not just another asshole."
She came up to him and placed her soft hand on his a bit rough cheek. She caressed his face with her thumb and smiled sweetly, but it didn't seem to brighten up his mood.
-Hey- she said, frowning. -Gimme a smile, please?
He turned his head to the side, avoiding her gaze. She looked at him with a worried expression.
-Bob? What is it?- she put her other hand on his second cheek.
He didn't respond and still tried to escape her green, piercing eyes.
-Bob? Bobby?- she delicately kissed his nose and he tried hard to suppress a giggle. -Yeah, we're nearly there- she smiled wider.
He lifted his head a little. Small, mischievous sparkles, shining in his eyes. She was still caressing his cheeks.
-Would you mind smiling for me, Bobby?- she whispered.
He shook his head.
-Would you mind giving me a kiss then, Corrina?- he whispered back.
She shook her head. Bob smiled a little. His crystal blue eyes fixed on her emerald, green ones. She shook her head a little, not really looking satisfied. He forced a bigger smile, though his heart ached when he did that. He knew they had to part ways for now and he already became very attached to her.
-"Oh, don't be silly!"- he scolded himself. -"She said she'd like to do something with you today. Just smile and ask when you're gonna meet. Don't be a total git! She deserves better than that!"
He grinned and it made her heart skip a beat.
-Corrina?- he asked.
-Yes?
-What would you say if I walked you back home and then we'll head out to the place we were talking about?- he saw an unsure look in her eyes, so he quickly added- Or maybe I'll pick you up in like... Two hours? So you'll have time to... I don't know... Feed your cat, change your clothes, freshen up a bit?- he made puppy eyes at her and she giggled sweetly.
-Ok, the second plan sounds really good- and with that, she came closer to him and attached her lips to his.
They kissed for a while and then she turned around, said ''Bye!'' and disappeared behind the closed door. Bob stood there, shocked. He brought his fingers to his mouth and touched it delicately, as if it was a sacred object, like the Holy Grail, or something as important. He grinned and decided he needed a shower. He turned up the radio volume and went to the bathroom.
MEANWHILE
Corrina struggled to get home. It wasn't easy, considering the fact that the streets were covered in thick, white snow.
-"What the heck?!"- she thought annoyed, nearly losing her shoe in a snowdrift. -Yeah Corrina, you're really the wisest woman in the whole wide world. Wearing high heels in New York, in January. Congratulations! Who gave you the surname, you silly goose?!
A few passersby looked at her funny, but she didn't seem to care.
-"Why nobody's clearing the snow? It's bloody Friday! Good I don't have work today"- she thought angrily. -"Uff... Okay, calm down. It's not the end of the world, is it? You just have to be careful not to fa-"
She slipped on the first step of her porch and landed on her back with a loud thud. She layed there for a few minutes, until the ringing in her ears stopped. When she got up, she felt every ich of her body hurt.
-Damn- she whispered, as she climed to her front door, careful not to fall again.
She fumbled with the key a little, but finally managed to open the door and slip into her warm flat. She was immediately met by the meowing of her cat, rubbing against her legs.
-Hey Mrs. Austen- she smiled and patted her furry head.
Corrina took of her shoes and coat and went to the kitchen to give her kitten something nice to eat. She also decided to make herself a big mug of hot tea. Due to the weather she was cold and wet and the fall didn't improve the state she was in.
After she was finished in the kitchen, she looked at a clock, standing in the hall.
-"All right, I've got enough time for a quick shower"- she thought and went to her bathroom.
She quickly washed her whole body with some hot water and a lavender shower soap. She loved it. It reminded her of her early childhood. How she, her brother and their parents visited their grandmother, Sophia. She lived in Scotland, in a rolling countryside, far away from civilization. Her garden was always full of beautiful plants, like red poppies, blue cornflowers, violet lavender, reddish briars, dog roses, lilacs and elderberries. She also had a few apiaries and taught Corrina and Mike how to properly take care of bees. Her husband, Harold, died before Corrina was able to meet him. He loved horses. He built a big stable, near their house and bought the surrounding it fields. He bought the first pair of horses, Armon and Lisa, from a slaughterer. They were purebred Shire horses and he couldn't understand why'd somebody want to kill them. He was a very good man. He had a great, loving heart and cared about everyone. It didn't matter if they were people, animals or plants. He treated everybody equall. Other breeders said he was mad, that he didn't understand what breeding was about. But he didn't seem to mind them, at all. He bought horses and other farm animals from slautherhouses and gave them a simple life. Without pain and fear. They died there and he buried them on one of the pastures, where he made some kind of an animal cemetery. After his death, Sophia didn't want all his work to waste. She took care of the whole complex. When Corrina arrived there with her family, the first thing she'd do was to run to the stable and help the equerry, Tom. She cleaned it with him, fed the animals and lead them to the pastures. She was never this happy in her whole life. It was easier back then.
She stepped out of the shower and headed to her bedroom to throw on her clothes. She started to rummage through her wardrobe.
-"I wish Bob told me where he's taking me"- she thought, looking at a green dress.
She came up to a window and saw that it was snowing heavily. The snowflakes were nearly the size of her fist. She shuddered and stood in front of the mirror, examining her body. She was tall and curvy, but slim. She sighed. She decided to wear a pair of navy blue jeans and a white buttoned shirt. She put her hair in a bun but quickly decided to let it loose. She smiled at herself in the mirror and went to the living room, to wait for the boy.
AT THE SAME TIME
Bob took a shower and went to his bedroom, to get dressed. He put on a pair of warm, light blue jeans and a denim shirt. He tried to comb his hair a little, but he already knew there was no use in that, so he gave up. He smiled down at Mr. Darcy, laying on his bed.
-Be good when I'm gone- he said and stroked the animal's chest.
He went to the living room to phone his friend. He knew he had a place he provided to poets and other artists. Bob wanted to take Corrina there.
-Yes?- a sleepy voice asked.
-Andy? It's me Bob.
-Oh. Hi Bob!
-Did I wake you up?- he asked, concerned.
-No, no. I just... I was reading a boring book and I must've fallen asleep... Did you wanted something?
-Oh, yeah. Do you still have this place for poets an' all?
-Yeah, why?
-See... I've met this girl and I really wanted to take her there. It's beautiful and very inspirational. I though she... She might like it- he stated nervously.
-Oh, I see... Well it's opened, as always. You can take her there, you don't have to ask me for permission. I think it's empty right now...
-Thank you, so much!
-No problem. I'm sure, she'll love it. I gotta go. Bye Bob!
-Bye Andy!
He hung up and smiled to himself. He quickly approached the living room window and peeked outside. There was a snowstorm and he could barely see the street below.
-Damn- he murmured and turned.
He went to the hall and put on his warm, brown boots and a brown trench coat. He shut the door tightly behind him and headed to the nearest florist.
-Mornin'- he said, looking at a bouquet of red roses.
-Hello! May I help you?- a tall man asked.
-Uh... I'd like to buy flowers for my fri- girlfriend- he quickly said, blushing a little.
-Oh, I see. Does she prefer roses of maybe tulips?- the man asked, pointing at the flowers.
-She actually likes wildflowers...- Bob stated nervously.
-Ah! Marvelous! I'll fix you a beautiful bouquet right away!- and with that he disappeared at the back of the shop.
He came back three minutes later and handed him the indeedverybeautiful bouquet. Bob thanked him, payed for it and headed for Corrina's place.
When he finally got there, he was all covered in thick, white crust of snow. He looked like a Yeti, with his curly hair and mouth hidden beneath a scarf. He knocked loudly and waited. He heard shuffling behind the door and it soon opened, to reveal her beautiful figure. She jumped a little, not really knowing who he was, so he quickly exposed his face and smiled brightly. She sighed in relief and grinned.
-Hey- she said.
-Hey- he answered and shivered.
-Come in- she said quickly, not wanting him to catch a cold.
-Thanks- he mumbled.
He took off his boots and a wet coat and she hang it near a radiator. She took him by the hand and led him to the living room. He was glad to finally be somewhere warm. She turned on the radio and he came up to her, wrapped his arms around her slim body and handed her the bouquet.
-For you- he whispered in her ear, sending shiver down her spine.
-Thanks, it's beautiful- she said, out of breath.
-Not as beautiful, as you- he brushed away her hair and delicately kissed her nape.
She moaned quietly and touched one of his arms, that were holding her waist. He spun her around and brought his forehead to hers. She looked him deep in the eye and was about to kiss him, when he slightly backed away, a goofy grin on his face. He sat on her sofa, like nothing happened. She stood there, shocked and irritated, but regained her composure and went to the kitchen to put the flowers in a flowerpot.
-You sure it's a good idea to go out right now?- she shouted from the kitchen, looking out the window.
-Of course- came a quiet reply.
She jumped and spun around, to see his body leaning against the doorframe.
-Don't scare me like that- she whispered, her heart beating fast.
-Sorry- he smiled shyly and sat on one of the kitchen chairs.
-You fancy some tea?- she asked, putting the kettle on.
He just nodded. His eyes were scanning her body and she blushed, not knowing where to avert her gaze, feeling very uncomfortable.
She made them both some tea and they drank it in silence. Then they threw on their coats and boots and headed out. They wanted to take an umbrella with them, to hide from the snow, but it was too windy. They waded through the snowy streets, holding gloved hands, walking close to each other, to keep warm. When they finally arrived at the place Bob was talking about, they were soaking wet and frozen to the bone. When they entered a small flat, Bob took their coats, so they could dry off a bit and wrapped his scarf around her eyes.
-It was supposed to be a surprise- she could hear him smile.
He led hear somewhere and let her open her eyes. She was stunned. They were standing in the middle of a big, glazed balcony, full of exotic trees, shrubs and flowers. It was very warm and bright there. She saw a few butterflies, flying lazily around one of the blossoming cherry trees. There were a few benches standing among the plants and she heard a soft song of a fountain. But what struck her, was the incredible smell. Sweet and fresh.
-I thought, you might like it- Bob said, wrapping his arm around her waist and leading her further into the thicket.
They sat on one of the benches, near to the fountain with a great, golden lion, overlooking a park.
-My friend, Andy- Bob started- provides this place to all sorts of artists. He rents it sometimes, but it's usually opened for everyone.
Corrina nodded and giggled, when a large, bright blue butterfly rested on her knee. Bob smiled, seeing her happiness.
-It was supposed to be a place where you could find inspiration and peace- he continued. -Andy bought it for his fiancee, Monica, who was a painter. He brought all the plants from distant lands and took care of them, to make them even more beautiful. Everything for her. Unfortunately she died right before their wedding. On her deathbed, she asked him to make it an artists' sanctuary. She didn't want it to waste. He fullfilled her last will, but he couldn't come back here. His sister, Annie, is taking care of everything. She can't stand his pain and does all her best to keep this garden alive- Bob smiled sadly and looked at the park.
Corrina delicately took his hand in hers and stroked it with her thumb.
-I love it- she smiled. -It's really beautiful.
Bob gave her a lopsided grin and delicately took the butterfly from her knee on his finger. He blew at it soflty and it flew away, joining its companions.
-Can you paint, Corrina?- Bob asked softly and got up.
-Well... Yeah, a little- she answered, baffled. -Why?
-Some painters leave their stuff here- he walked to a cupboard in the corner of the balcony, which Corrina didn't notice before. -They let others use it. It's a nice gesture- he said, while searching the shelves for some paint and paintbrushes.
He found what he wanted and went back to the bench, holding a big canvas in his right hand.
-Here- he said and gave her a few paintbrushes and a blue, yellow and red paint.
He turned around and brought an easel, to set the canvas on it. When he was done, he motioned for her, to start painting. She made some green paint on one of the palettes he also brought with him and started to paint the park ahead. Bob got up and went to a small living room, he found an old radio, covered with a white sheet and turned it on. It was hard to find something else than news or sport, but he finally managed to find a station that played soft, relaxing music.
-Here's our beloved Nat King Cole, with his sweet tune, ''When I Fall In Love''- a female voice announced quietly.
Bob smiled delicately and made his way back to the girl. She had already painted a sketch of the park and now was adding more colour here and there, to make it look realistic. Bob sat right next to her and she gave him a sweet smile. Corrina handed him a paintbrush and passed him the palette. He looked at her a bit surprised, but eventually started to paint, too.
They were creating their masterpiece for a few hours. It was getting dark and both their faces were covered in colourful paint, due to a paint fight, that occured in the process.
-I think we're finished- she said and giggled at his attempts to clean his face.
They both looked at the painted park, that looked far from the view outside.
-There's only one thing now- Bob said.
-Wha?- she frowned, looking closer at the picture.
-We gotta sign it- he smiled widely.
She laughed, but took a brush and wrote her name in the bottom left corner, next to his. Their hands touched and they felt a spark. She blushed and quickly took her hand away. Bob watched her, looking a bit hurt.
-"What are you doing?"- she scolded herself. -"You've met him a few days ago and he already confessed he can't live withot you, you kissed him a few times already and you even slept at his place! Don't act like that!"
She turned her head and looked him deep in the eye. She brought her face closer to his and kissed him passionately. He immediately kissed back and started to run his hands all over her body. They were so absorbed, that they didn't notice five men, dressed in worn out clothes, entering the flat and walking on the balcony. A few of them whistled and one shouted ''You go, boy!''. The pair immediately jumped away from each other, stood up and looked at the men, frightened. The men laughed at their rection.
-Sorry- said the tallest one, with a bright smile on his face. He had short, dark brown hair, pale skin, thin lips and a small nose. His eyes were dark brown and very friendly. -We didn't want to scare you, kids. I'm Peter- he extended his hand and they both shook it.
-You must be Bob- said the humpbacked one. He was the shortest one of them all. He had bright blue eyes, thick brown eyebrows, that nearly disappeared beneath his black, messy hair and a big, crooked nose. -Andy told us, that you were about to visit this place, but we thought you were already gone. It's nearly eight!
The couple looked at each other. They were a bit startled. The times flies by quickly, when you're having fun.
-An' who's that pretty bird you were snoggin', eh?- asked the youngest looking one and wiggled his eyebrows. He was rather tall, with short, bright blonde hair, cold, blue eyes, a long nose and pinkish skin. His lips were formed in a thin, wry line.
Corrina frowned and opened her mouth to say something, but the fourth man, who had very delicate features, forestalled her.
-Hey! Shut it, Steve- he came up to her, took her soft hand in his rough one and bent over to kiss it. -Enchantée Mademoiselle- he said, while looking into her green eyes. He looked like a young Greek god. He had long, wavy, blonde hair, his eyes were hazel, he had a small, perky nose and his eyebrows were plucked into perfect lines.
Corrina blushed slightly.
-What's your name, beautiful lady?- he asked, still holding her hand, but now covering it with his second one.
-Her name's Corrina and I demand you leave her alone!- Bob said angrily and wrapped his arms around her protectively, pulling her closer to his warm side.
The pretty man looked stightly taken-aback.
-Guys?- the last man, who was the oldest one of them all, said. -Don't act like kids, will ya? Please, excuse them. They're not this bad, believe me- he came closer to the embraced couple, he was limping a little. He had curly, silver hair, his eyes were grey, but incredibly warm, there was a bit of sadness in them. He had a long nose and a bit bushy eyebrows. -I'm Nathaniel, the tallest one is Peter, the nosy one is Angus, the rude one is Steven- the youngest man mumbled something about being called by his full name- and the pretty boy is Lucas. We're Andy's friends and he tells us sometimes about the people who visit this place. You were looking for inspiration?- he asked, smiling kindly.
-Well, actually... We...-Bob didn't know what to say.
-Bob wanted to show me this place- Corrina said confidently. -He thought I might like it.
-And do you?- Nathaniel asked.
She only smiled. Somehow she knew, he'd understand her without words. And he did. She saw it in his grey eyes.
-So? Did you like it?- Steve asked impatiently.
Nathaniel only shook his head and rolled his eyes. He looked at the painting behind them and revealed his white teeth in a wide grin.
-I see you're artists- he said, while examining the picture. -And bloody good ones- he smiled.
-We're artists, too- said Steven angrily. -So what? They shouldn't be here right now!
-Steven- said the oldest man, a warning in his voice.
Suddenly Steve became smaller and he hung his head.
-Yes, we are artists, as well. I'm a poet, Peter is a novelist, Angus writes satires, Lucas is a painter and Steven still searches for his destination.
-Why we shouldn't be here?- Corrina asked, curious.
-Sorry?- Nathaniel turned away from the painting and faced her.
-Why we shouldn't be here?- she repeated the qustion, hugging Bob tighter.
-Ah! We've got this agreement with Andy, that we can stay here from 8pm on Friday, to 8am on Saturday. We need to focus on our work and it's the best place to clear your head. You can stay with us, if you want- he smiled friendly.
-Thank you- she said- but I think, it's high time for us to go home.
-As you wish- Nathaniel said and shook their hands. -It was nice to meet ya, kids. Come again sometime. Oh! And you can leave the painting here, to let it dry off. I'll take care of it.
-Thank you!- the both said.
The five men escorted them to the door, they said their goodbyes and the couple came out into the night.
Bob took Corrina back home. She was glad he showed her the Enchanted Garden, as she started to call it and he was glad, she liked it. They stood in her hall for a long time, not wanting to part, just yet.
-Thank you- she smiled. -I loved that place and the painting... It doesn't look that bad, does it?
He laughed and said- Of course not! I think it's pretty groovy!
She grinned and came a bit closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he held her waist.
-I had a great time- she whispered, laying her head on his chest. -Thank you- she smiled and closed her eyes.
Bob kissed the top of her head and tightened his grip on her. He could smell her beautiful scent.
-No, thank you. And sorry for these men. I didn't know someone'd drop by- they both giggled.
She looked up at him, with a loving smile and stood on her toes, to give him a simple kiss on the forehead. He put his finger under her chin and kissed her lips sweetly. She loved it. The kiss wasn't hungry, needy. It was full of passion, yet very sensual and calm. Full of love and trust. And then it hit her. She felt something more for this man and she didn't want their relationship to be just a fling. She backed away, just a little bit and looked in his confused eyes.
-Bob?
-Yes?
-Can I tell you something?
-Of course.
-Can you promise me, that you won't hate me after that?
-I promise. How could I ever hate you?
-I-I...
-Yes?
-I think I-I'm falling in love with you.
The room fell silent. She stopped breathing. The grip on her waist loosened a little. Two seconds after that, she felt a soft pair of lips on hers. This time they were needy and made her feel, as if she was on fire. She kissed back, moaning from time to time. She buried her hands in his hair and tugged a little. He groaned and pulled her even closer to him.
They parted, breathing heavily. He tugged at her shirt a little, wanting to rip it here and now, but looked her in the eye to ask for permission. She wasn't sure what to do. She needed to be pleased by him. She needed to feel his fingers, tracing her bare skin. But she also needed to know, that he respected her. Loved her. That sex wasn't all he wanted.
-I don't want it like that- she said softly, still panting.
He only nodded and embraced her, carressing her face with his thumb. She didn't see disappointment in his eyes. He looked... Happy. She decided to ask him about it.
-You're not angry?- he heard her quiet voice.
He looked down at her.
-Angry? Why should I be angry? 'Cause you're not another slutty gal, who only wants to fuck a man and take advantage of him? No, I'm glad I've met you. And you know what?
-What?- she asked, smiling softly.
-I think I'm falling in love with you, too- he grinned.
He left her place with a light heart. Even the snow couldn't help to stop the warm feeling inside him. He walked back home, grinning like mad, causing a few passersby, to look over they shoulder. He heard the ringing of the telephone, right after he entered his flat. He quickly took off his coat and boots, throwing them carelessly on the floor and run up to the device.
-Yes?- he asked happily, hoping it was his beloved girl.
And that's when he heard the news...
A/N: Hey guys! So, basically the ''Enchanted Garden'' was invented by me. Idk if something like that ever existed during Bob's times. I just thought it might be cool to write about something like that. :) (same with those weird men...)
And sorry for another Nat King Cole song. His singing just fits a love story and I like him very much.
I also wanted to thank you all for reading and voting <3
~Peace & Love~
